Radio Backup? - LG Thrill 4G

I want to flash the Gingerbread radio and try the new Gingerbread leak from the O3D, but first I would like to know if there is a way to backup the current radio?
Sent from my LG-P925 using xda premium

I can't find any post that would help go back to stock. I installed the Gingerbread as people said it's awesome and all but I can't stand it. Trying to go back to stock but with that baseband for GB, I get no reception at all if I go back to stock rom.

Seems like you can flash a radio easy enough...let me look up commands to pull a radio I guess?

[Q]Froyo modem with gingerbread Rom

Please help I want gingerbread but do I need to flash a new modem I am on optimus 2x Fido
Sent from my LG-P990hN using XDA Premium App
What do you mean by modem... Modem is hardware you can't flash it....
Are you talking about baseband (radio image)? Gingerbread roms will install no matter what baseband you are, although the lastest is recommended.
I am on fido is this rom safe because there is R on top of my signal bar 2X FLAIR GB v3 BUGFIX REVOLUTION FINAL

i own the p990hn version
can the p990hn version use p990 roms? maybe thats the problem
How do i revert back i tried everything to load the original rom

[Q] Request

Could somebody do me a favor and pull a folder off a stock or stock based rom (thriller will work) and upload it for me or email it to me (its a pretty small folder). It can NOT be an optimus 3d rom though, it has to be based off of the Thrill firmware.
What i need is /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases
I need the contents of the databases folder. There should be like 4 .db files in there. I would greatly appreciate it.
EDIT: Got it Thanks.
On its way.

Yes, you will have to reinstall recovery, as well. Just follow the instructions as you did before.

you need to start from kitkat rooted
Well. If you want root, look for the stock ROM index, then get ne3 (or whatever kitkat has a full Odin package) flash it, and then if you want root, root here and use flashfire to flash lollipop, if not get the update .zip from the same thread and flash it for no root.

No you cannot due to the bootloader. We got lucky that the 4.4 bootloader works with 5.0. It is not hard at all my friend just download odin. flash all 4 NE3 files with odin. Use towelroot to gain root. then flash whatever rom you like from there. The long list of instructions was due to the old version of flashfire having issues. The new version is much more stable. If you get confused let me know
@Rick1684
Hmm if I'm clear, I have to upgrade to 4.4 before I can upgrade to 5.0 ...
I can't jump from 4.3 to 5.0

Odexed might have ever so slightly better battery life and bootup time, but deodexed is necessary if you want to modify your system, I.e. you want to use Xposed.

Once you're on lollipop rooted, if you want a custom ROM, check the one linked to (really the only option for this phone):
