[Q] CM6 browser settings W/O CM6?

I just went back to a stock rom from CM6. The two things I miss the most are the ability to take away that zoom icon on the browser and the user agent feature in the browser settings. How can I get that without going back to CM6?

You can get the user agent feature by typing about:debug and going into the settings.

wow i didnt even know i could do these regardless of being on CM ive been CM'd for a while. thanks!

Menu issues
What do you guys get when you press the menu button when in the new Music app? I'm not getting the "Settings" option, just search shuffle all stuff like that.

I get the same thing search and shuffle.

anyone here running cm7? Hey guys with the release of Google Music I have downloaded and installed it and now I have two music apps. Im hearing if your on stock it just overides the old music app but not on CM7 why is that and can I just delete the old one?

Anyone know how we will find out if our invitation is accepted?

Where did you download Google Music from? I applied for the invite but online when I was at work. But I didn't download anything...

You have to press menu on the 'now playing' view to get other options.

Works gr8... def better than ICS stock browser who keeps showing blank/blurry pages and was overall slower that the GB one.

Spoofs your location. Set it to T-mobile in the US and click yes when it asks if you want to switch to that Market. Google Chrome Beta will be available. ;-)

i downloaded MarketEnabler from the market, by For2W.
Set it to T-mobile in the US and (also tried with AT-T), clicked yes when it asked if i wanted to switch to that Market.
it switched to it, yet Google Chrome Beta is not available.
btw, the market to which it switched is in italian. is that ok?

Use the browser to go to the market and open the link with the market app, now you see it ;-)

Try putting your phone into Airplane mode and then try.. I was able to do it here in Pakistan without issue..

[Q]Google Voice Typing Location

I am on HTC Vivid. I tried updating to ICS to only realize that it failed. I see the new keyboard for ICS the Google Voice Typing. Does anyone know where that is installed on the device of ICS so i can try to pull it off and use it on my Vivid. would be excellent.

Yeah, see what you mean. All I could find was voice dialer but not the actual keyboard.

Also, realize you want the google keyboard but swype also offers a beta that has a voice option. Just google swype beta and it will pop up.

Swype is a decent app but I ended up going back to the stock keyboard as it is more functional..some prefer swype I guess..

I have bigger fingers so it makes it hard for me to tap away at the keyboard. I am much faster swyping.

I have big hands also and the dang space bar is the most frustrating thing on the keyboard...always hitting the period instead of space bar...it needs to be wider..

I agree. The keyboard on the Inspire was perfect...and it was .2 inches smaller of a screen and included a directional arrows.
And to answer the original question most of what the OP is asking about I would think would be in HTC_IME.apk

Need a little help with finding an app

So I ran across this awesome app made for our HTC One's but for some reason google play says its not compat. with my phone and it doesnt show up when i search for it on my phones market. can anyone tell me if this shows up for you when you search it on your phones play store?

check your build.prop file, it says anything other than M7WLS that would be why its showing up as incompatable

Oddly enough I made sure it did last night and its still not working :\

Ok I did it, go and setup the newest MaDoCo Toolkit, it give the option to fix the name in the build prop.. just fix it instantly and then it will show up in the playstore, I just did it and I love the app.. takes some time to setup but it's well worth it

No, because ps3 has no IR built in. You'll need a usb dongle compatible with the ps3. I use the nyko blu-wave receiver with my Harmony remote, I'm sure this will work with that too.
