Preview fps on stock camera is realy bad in low light , indoor bulbs etc on all C.roms and stock too ...
Same as when you turn on night in settings ( laggy with low fps ) auto settings .
When i set action, portret, landscape etc FPS back to normal and faster preview... anyone can confirm this or i must find my guarantee ?
And yes , on miui 10.8 and CM #150,149,148 etc , preview is smooth and normal ... ?? strange
Any idea ??

For god's sake .... 70 peoples read thread and no one post nothing ???

I just got my O2x phone day before yesterday ,and everything was fine until I started downloading and installing apps from google market. Now when I activate the stock camera the screen darkens and a bright day scene looks like a very overcast day on the screen.
The pictures taken turned out ok and bright .
Anyone ever experience that ?
This problem makes it difficult to take still pics and videos.
Can anyone help ?
LGE version :LGP990-v10a
this is a bug...to solve, do it:
- set brightness to 100% (manual)
- set brightness to automatic
- run camera app

Hy , I am using P990_StockCamera_Kostja_V_CM7 on cm7 and I want to edit the bps from 17 to 20 , I decompiled the Camera.apk in to smali files but i don't know witch class holds the values for the camera bps can someone help my with this? I know that there is another mod for camera bps on cm 7 that has 20 mbs setting but on my device it drops alot of fps in low light conditions .
tiesquit greene
try one of these
P990_StockCamera_CM7.zip(Credit: francarl)
P990_StockCamera_Kostja_V_CM7.zip(Credit: Kostja_V)
P990_CM7KANG50_Camera.zip (Revert to build#50 camera)
or , try ics camera, works fine
Hy, for my only the P990_StockCamera_Kostja_V_CM7 works with decent fps in low light all cyanomod 7 related cameras including ics lag in low light on cyanogen mod 7.1 and 7.2, but i want more bps than the 17 that P990_StockCamera_Kostja_V_CM7 provides.
is there any chance to mod a camera app to record in slow motion ? i mean , lower resolution and incerase FPS ... hmm ?
I have used the default and srgb mode but both of them gives a yellowish shade to the screen , i want my screen to look cool and unsaturated . Can anyone provide the best tweaks in this colour saturation . I have elemental x kernel installed so i can tweak the settings .
Using 4.0.3 , rooted , elemental x kernel
Hi,
I use these settings (you can raise the saturation to 55):

Hello everyone! Before starting this article , I would like to say that this Gcam port doesn't belong to me. There are multiple developers that worked on this , i'm here just to share the link and my experience with it.
"Story" :
Anyways , I've had my P Smart for a year now, And I mostly bought it for the camera.
After using it for about 7 months , I really saw how poor the processing is on the stock camera app. So I decided to look at some solutions to my problem.
One of the main problems with the stock camera for me was the "Portrait Mode" and "Wide Aperture". They were really bad on EMUI 8.0 and they are just as bad on EMUI 9.1. And well, Here is Gcam to solve the problem
My experience with it:
I've been using this Gcam port for a while and I can say that it is amazing.
Things that work really well:
-HDR,HDR+, the zoom is waaay better
-Portrait mode works like a charm and looks very good (only works on humans, not objects)
-Video Recording (also you can easily stabilize the videos from the Google Photos app)
-Photo sphere
What doesn't work:
-Night Sight
-Slow-mo
-Panorama
-Taking a photo with no HDR
What kind of works :
-RAW ( has a really weird green tint on the pic)
Photos:
All of these photos were taken with the stock camera (Emui 9.1) and Gcam
1)Stock Camera, Normal mode, No zoom
2)GCam , HDR+ enabled, No zoom
3)Stock camera , Normal mode, Full zoom
4)GCam , HDR+ enabled ,Full zoom
As you can see , the dinamic range is way better on GCam
VERY IMPORTANT!!
Settings before you use it!
The default settings are wrong. You first need to go to "More" then "BSG settings" and then set the saturation as you like , otherwise the photos look dead
And well , here is the link Just like I said , THIS MOD DOESN'T BELONG TO ME!

Like this post if this helped ya , Have a nice day
I've been using this for a long while got it from honor 9 lite forums. Here are the settings that I use. Front camera isn't very good though always makes lights pink and even rear camera sometimes does it but I try to fix it in snapseed.
If you do have good settings for front cam let me know!

Well , the saturation settings don't really matter , it's about preference,
But I think it's some sort of glitch from the app itself, and to avoid the glitch , you always have to focus on the point where is the most light. here are my setting tho , and an example of the pink tint on my p smart
I cannot seem to get video to work, everytime I try the app just closes. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
