White Galaxy Note Battery Cover

I'm considering moving from the excessively slow Galaxy Nexus to the Galaxy note and I'm really liking the look of the white note but from the reviews i read and the videos i watch it appears the white battery cover is just glossy with no texture. Is this true? Does it feel like the original galaxy s battery cover (super slick)?

Yep. Just glossy. Doesn't bother me much thought cause I use the skinomi carbon fiber silver skin and the feel is excellent.

It is textured very slightly, it is not SUPER SLICK! Go ahead get the White Note, it looks beautiful

it's a full shield (front, sides and back) but i only used the back.
I hate those side stickers since they always end up peeling, and the texture of the front one reminded me of zagg which i hate - i used SGP's crystal clear in front instead.
as i sidenote - i just noticed my favorite case maker sgp has two versions for the note! The ultrathin which i always used on my iPhone and the ultra capsule which i like less.

I was thinking of putting more options to let participants get the choice of all colours. It's just that i want to narrow down the choices i have already personally made. Feel free to post your own opinions of what colour you prefer out of the available colours on sale. Although please take a vote on your favourite of the 3.

I'd say the darker the colour the better. Every time I buy something white I always regret it a week later when it has a dirty-looking stain which won't wash off.

Now i know why i have two closets full of cloths and 1 CLOSET with nothing but shoes and so accessories ..

I would have got black if they stuck to the design of a grey shell that clips onto the device. For some strange reason they changed it to black on the black version making it stand out from the original design of the other colours.

Voted for blue....Love it!

I am thinking to get an Xperia Z tomorrow, and could order black, white or purple online from Sony, or black and purple from o2 or get the white one from Phones4You.
Any comments about the colours, if the body of the phone shows marks with one colour more than another etc, would be appreciated.
Might also get the charging dock!
I think any special offers are long gone.....

Personally White, after going to the Sony Showroom in Tokyo and seeing all 3 of them I reckon the white is the best looking one. The purple is also quite nice, the black seems to show fingerprints on the glass backing a bit too much for my liking.

Only thing that puts me off the white is the black frame around the screen at the front. If it's going to be white I prefer it to be virtually all white. Except the screen of course. Just my opinion.

I had a purple one. It always turned heads (me being a 16 year old boy n all) plus its a great conversation starter. Marks aren't really that visible

I have a black one, my gf a purple one. The black is really nice, although fingerprint friendly. But with a black skin (or a new rom supposdly) it is a really great looking slab. The purple one is quite nice too, especially in sunlight. But for me the purple one is a little too ehh oldish-purple looking. I haven't seen the white one in person, but I'm sure it's still a great device.
Just go and see for yourself if you can

My vote is, Chalk back, Black front but with Metallic Blue accents. WOW!:laugh:

Just built one based on your design to see what it looks like- you're right. That is a gorgeous looking device. Kinda kicking myself for going all black now.
Edit: Looks great with the woven white back too.

I went with almost this design. I chose cement back, black front and blue accents.
But I saw a dark green back with black front and black accents and... It looks freaking legit. Once I get mine I'm probably going to get grn/blk/blk shipped and a hold placed on my card so I can have them both in my hand and decide from there.

I went black front, cement back, gold/yellow accents. The cement doesn't seem to get dirty/scuffed, and the yellow/gold really pop.

I'm tempted to try out red accents, Blue back and white front... Red White and Blue! American colors made in America!

@leafsacc - I hate you for pointing out that color combo to me. I'm seriously considering selling my all black one and buying that one instead. It's been eating me up inside.

If sprint was able to use motomaker I would go with Crimson back, silver accents and white front. Then immediately after receiving I would place a Block O decal on the back lower third of the device.

As many of you may already know.. the new 6T in Thunder purple will be available for purchase starting tomorrow. There are already pictures as well as videos of it online. I'm just wondering what you all think of the color and how many are planning to purchase it?

I would buy it because purple's my favorite color but T-Mobile only sells it in Mirror Black. Not too big a deal, I'll have a case on it anyway. I would've got a clear case if I was getting Thunder Purple though

I concur that it is a little too girly. From what I can tell from the multitude of photos is that the color is mauve, not purple. I'm still thinking about it.

Until they make a mint OP6T, my phone will be covered with a mint green case anyway..... so I guess there's no real point for me. It looks pretty cool on photos though! Wonder how it looks in person.

Word. I bought a black 6 in June and oromtply sold it to get the red. That thing was badass.
