Kindle app is a good way to pass the time using your device. There's a wealth of books just begging to be read!

Music, read stuff, xda, test themes.

Kinda tired of my DHD so not much these days. Mostly music when i'm out, and browsing XDA and the interwebz. But my Galaxy Note is on its way, so it'll change pretty quickly!

Music, Angry Birds, Tapatalk and mail client are those apps I'm using when I don't have anything else to do.

Xda, g+, reading ars technica, wired, and other websites via the browser, checking gmail, banking, calls,

Play games, browse XDA, read News, play music. None of those in a consistent order but all of them frequently.

Pulse, tweet, book in for facial treatments, sickipedia and texting. Pretty much all I ever use my phone for though.

Hmm I usually use my phone as a watch since i don't have a watch. xD
Other than that i'm usually busy with school. When I do use my phone however it is for some gaming and music.

mostly music and a quick browse around xda to check if any new kernels/roms have been released.
other than that, not a whole lot. i sometimes browse around youtube to find videos to download or go on a musicdownloading spree via mp3downloader.
it's basically my mobile computer

Surfing 80% & Music 10% & Videos 9% & phone 1%

Reading manga and listening to a podcast. I suggest Radiolab if you want to try a podcast.

1. Texting
2. Facebook
3. Looking up anything random that pops into my head so I'm not thinking about it all day
4. XDA
5. Other forums because they don't have an app
6. Youtube
7. Games one in a while. Lately the impossible game. Look it up on the market!
Sent from my I897 using XDA App

Browsing, XDA, IMDB. The odd game here and there but mostly use it as a resource.

Twitter and xda of course! and with the help of mobile flash i can watch all my favourite videos on the web

Amazon app of the day

There was another thread created but buried. So this is a new one. I promise to keep updating everyday so everybody can check here and see if the app will work for our beloved xooms.
*Friday 05/27/2011 - abduction 2! Confirmed working brilliantly on the 10.1 inch edit: and whoever already has this game, there's an HD option needs to be turned on as it was off by default. Thanks CowBallZ69 for the tip.
*Saturday 05/28/2011 - Yoo ninja game. Used to be 1.99 - does NOT work good for xoom. Even though it shows up fullscreen. Its really slow. Its just unplayable. Edit: sorry about the original post on yoo ninja being a bit hard to understand. I was typing that at 3 in the morning after a long ass flight.
*Sunday 05/29/2011 - Cardio Trainer Pro - used to be $9.99- this is just an add on module, you'll need to download the Free Cardio Trainer as well. The app itself shows up nicely on the big screen. Usable. Good looking and lots of different types of workouts. There's one drawback though, there is NO landscape support! Get it while you guys can. This is one of the few quality apps that we got
* Monday 05/30/2011 - day 4 of this thread and its already getting rotten. But I am going to keep posting my mini reviews. The app for today is Gaia GPS. Regularly priced at $9.99. The developer already stated that the app is not compatible with all tablets. But hey, you can always expect for the good outcome. And indeed luck is on your side this time. The app shows up nicely on my xoom, should be on yours as well. It is xoom compatible! I can't say about others though. I didn't have good signal when testing the app, it was loading slowly, but it is very usable
* Tuesday 05/31/2011 - the long awaited of PopCap hit game Plants vs. Zombies is finally here!!!!! From the developers: the game isn't guaranteed to play on every android tablet but work on some. You will experience the game being pixelated because of bigger screens. Also, this game requires wifi download. When today is over, $2.99 is going to be the price I've tested the game with a few plays. So far I've only experienced slow down and pixelated when I collect new plants. It is definitely good enough.

Thanks for continuing this. It was a real pain in the butt to keep the original going because it was never made a sticky. That and the lack of quality apps offered got the best of me. :/

And to the person who suggested HD option being turned off by default, thanks for the tip.

Yeah, echoing your yooninja findings in OP. Plays fullscreen, but so slowly that it's unplayable.
Mod can you make this a sticky so I can give my mini reviews on apps everyday.

I have a question, everytime I try to get the free app it asks me to set up "one click" on my mobile device. Everytime I try to do that it asks for my mobile number. I have a 3g xoom from best buy which I have never activated on Verizon's network. I don't know of any number assocciated with this device, even a dummy one for unactivated devices. So how do I complete this step?
Really I don't see why I should need one, can't wifi only xoom users get the free app, and what number do they use? Stupid #$%@ing red tape. The damn app is free at the time anyway so what is all the extra security for?

I'm bored and tired of trolling the same sites over and over

Reddit, Draw Something, Facebook. Much time wasted on that at work. I need a break from programming all day though, otherwise my mind starts to melt.

No really, I check my mail, chat with people(Facebook & Skype), update my status and troll my fellas in Facebook, check my sub box in YouTube, read news(when I'm really bored), discuss with people in forums and so on. Actually I don't spend much time on computer,I can do all those with my phone.

StumbleUpon is more of a "It's 3 in the morning and I have to be up for work in a few hours but just one more" crippling addiction, than it is a timewaster lol.

Internet radio/video broadcasting

I'm just curious about a few things regarding this. How many people find themselves looking for podcasts and vidcasts to watch during work/school?
I've been watching twit but I only really enjoy like 2-3 shows on there. Mainly because they all talk about the same stuff.
Would you listen to a tech based show?
What topics would you want to hear about?
Has this already been done?
Just trying to get some ideas on what to listen to.
Thanks for the help.

How to play youtube video on my ipad?

Hello every one, I have got a new ipad few days ago. Now I want to download some youtube videos to my ipad for watching, but I can not do it well. Firstly I don’t know how to download, secondly I have no idea of converting the Youtube video to ipad video supported video formats, so it is really a headache. If you are good at playing with ipad, would you like to provide me a link to operate it? Thanks.
