No i don't have a latin american phone. I just wanted to know if there are improvements and wait for a equivalent european one.
for eu users the best version is official KQG build(2.3.4), it don't have any bugs not like 2.3.5-2.3.7 roms
For europeans phone better wait release of 2.3.6 european version.

You will need to wipe data and cache in recovery...
Try shutting down your phone (battery pull only after Odin says PASS)
Go to recovery *home + power button
WIpe data
wipe cache
reboot

I have a brand new Galaxy Mini just rooted and wanted to flash newer stock ROM (I think that is the one in this thread), but having the root and CWM if possible... Not interested on OC or UV for the moment, only want latest stock + root + CWM.
Please can you tell me how to proceed?
(I'm new to this phone, with my SGSII is a lot easy, because you can flash kernels from ODIN that already include CWM and root, but can't find something like this for Galaxy Mini).

Just flash the latest firmware you want, then you can root is using the zip from above and then after that flash CWM recovery and you are done with what you want...

adib_17: After trying some different methods for this ROM, the only one that worked was using the above ZIP from stock recovery.
If you flashed CWM already, simply flash again stock ROM on top (it will not wipe your apps/data) and you'll back to stock recovery, then use the above ZIP. And finally flash CWM.
there's a bug on this ROM... when the battery is low, on the lockscreen it says "charging XX%" instead of "plug charger"

install the GetRIL app from the market and select a suitable RIL/BB combination from it.your wifi issue will be solved.
The app will suggest a RIL as recommended....select a V10 series RIL for CM custom ROMs. V20 series does not work with CM7/CM9 ROMs

Besides the previous suggestion of changing the RIL, I would consider
- installing a newer version of the Owain
- flashing another kernel (may be one of the 2.6 series, as you are using a 3.0 one)

I don't know why, but I can't mount internal SD with build RC0-74. (I can't use RC0-76 because the boot animation loop). e.g.: Camera app didn't work because can't find an storage.
I've tested all options in Star Parts -> SD Mount, with a Dalvik clean on every change. I've selected Internal Storage at Storage Config.
I've also tried to perform a fullwipe and a clean install of RC0-74 several time, but the issue persist the same.
I want to post it on Owain's official thread but I'm too newbie for that

Actually we don't really know whats different in that release, but give it a try and see it yourself.
Flash it with custom recovery like CWM.

best way is try it for you to know whats fit best for you.. im using virginity v9 rom with ana2 baseband and virginity v4 for my kernel
It's much more responsive, more faster and uses lesser RAM compared to older versions of android 4.1.2

My actual S3 Mini has XXANA2 already into it and i'd like to just root it, but i don't find any tutorial about it (one about root with xxana2 already in it, not even google). Because the 1st time i've tried it ended up with the phone in a reboot sequence
