Has anyone been able to download/install/play this game on our gTabs? If so what ROM are you running? I'm running Mountain Laurel 3.1.0 and it doesn't show up for me in the Market. I'm downloading it on my Moto Atrix at the moment to attempt a sideload.
Blood and Glory (NR)
Update: Yes it runs and looks great on ML 3.1.0. Here's a link to it for you to try.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17845078/com.glu.gladiator_nr-1.apk
Another update: It worked right after it installed and downloaded the extra file but then after that when you exit the game and try to restart it it closes out after the "preparing file" message. So I'm dead in the water with this game. Can some other folks try it out on different ROMs and report back?
Im running ML also and it shows up in my market and runs perfectly every time. Im using clemsyn oc kernel 2.6.32.9
FB10 and it appears in the market for me.
ACTUALLY upon second look what I have is Blood and Glory with no gore. Blood and Glory (NR) doesn't appear on my gtab either.
Random thought but who releases an entirely separate app for blood and gore....? Haven't they heard of SETTINGS! simple enough to have a pop-up the first time you launch the game saying something like "Would you like to enable blood and gore? This can be changed anytime in the settings menu. yes/no"

I'm running ML 3.1.0 with Pershoot's last FroYo kernel for our gTabs (2.6.32.43) and my build number is FRF91. Blood and Glory or B&G (NR) doesn't show up at all in my Market.
So are you saying the (NR) version shows up for you in the Market and you've installed it and played it (exited the game and restarted) and it works fine?
Both versions show up for me. I haven't dl'd the NR version and probably wont unless I can figure out how to transfer my current progress.

I have now tried both versions NR and regular and both are closing on me after the "preparing files" message.
Anyway, I think I'm over it now after reading about how the makers of the game charge outrageous prices for helmets and other gear that make the game worth playing. I saw that with the other game these guys put out (Gun Bros) so I understand what these reviewers were complaining about.
Thanks for the feedback though.
It really has some sweet looking HD graphics and is worth giving it a try. I know im not spending $50 for an imaginary helmet ill never actually own but the game itself is Glu's best yet. Maybe its your kernel. Reinstall ML overtop of itself and use the kernel that comes with it, do a cache. devalik wipe too. I had a similar problem with captain america on mine when I used brilliant corners on it. My friend had the same rom on his......it wouldn't work on mine but did on his so I switched to ML and it worked fine.
I have the same problem. Exits after the "preparing" message. ¿Is there any kwon solution?
What rom are you running?

Has anyone else had any experience with monster madness? I purchased it from the market and it very buggy. There were a lot of sound issues and a lot of force closes. I downloaded the beta supplement package for vegan tab and everything was fine with the audio but now it is very twitchy and very slow.
Does anyone else have any experience with this app?
Sent from my G-Tablet VegAn-TAB 5.11 Beta using Tapatalk.
works pretty dang good
it works pretty good on vegan ginger there is little lag with voice but its very playable just turn down volume. i tried it on tnt lite first and was so laggy that is it was unreal. and if u like emulators and have wii remote vegan ginger also works really good with all of those if u just use spare parts to fix the screen size
for me its too buggy to play. Right when I start gameplay its over. Played backbreaker HD, gunbros, samurai 2 HD, modern combat HD, and the list goes on
On vegan b5
I have tried Monster Madness on VEGAn gingerbread. it loads got as far as picking up 1st weapon and it crashes. sometimes i can't even get that far.

Try a different kernel, like Pershoot's latest. Check my sig for a link.

Yeah with that latest pershoot kernel from his blog and latest VEGAn tab 7.1.0 is the furthest i got in that game. Sometimes it doesn't make it past the loading screen, other times it will get past the character selection, screen zooms into main character then locks up. had to reset the g tablet. Any other ideas?

I had the same issue a whiles back... I know the Pershoot kernel for Gingerbread and honeycomb are almost identical, so I would look at the ROM as the source of the issue, as I can play Monster Madness fine on Honeycomb. That ROM may not be able to play that specific game. If you want, you could see if clemsyn has a kernel that will work with the latest VEGAn Ginger Edition.

I'm actually on Flashback 8.1 (2.6.32.46 pershoot kernel) right now. Its the kernel it comes with. Monster Madness finally works. audio cuts in and out, but fixes itself. I completed 1st level without a freeze of FC. Thanks for your help.

I am glad you like it. We are trying to get FB as much exposure as possible. Tell your friends.
Okay, I might just be bringing up old news, but seriously who doesn't want old school games on our tablets?
So here goes.. I am taking a flight overseas and need something to do besides movies, music, and angry birds on my 2hr+4hr+8hr flights to get to my destination.
Does anyone know of an emulator for N64? There was one for a short period of time on the market: N64oid by good ol' yongzh. Are there others? Do I just have to wait patiently, hoping for the day N64oid will return to the market?
Now I am not worried about the legal stuff, as I still own three or four games I plan playing on my trip.
Did anyone even try N64oid on the Gtab/Roms while it was out?
Final thoughts: Games I want to play (what were your fav's?)
-Zelda(s)
-Banjo Kazooie
-Starfox
-Mario Kart =D
-Goldeneye
-Turok (<---dare I even say?)
It worked great on my gtab.
I played Ocarina of Time, Starfox, Mario 64 and kart without any issues. Don't forget to bring a wiimote for your trip!
Will game pads work with n64oid. I just played golden eye and it was a pain trying to play by tapping the touch buttons. Still awesome to play golden eye on my gtab!
Roms4droid . Com
Has all of the good 64 roms. I just played golden eye. They have turok, Zelda. Anything you can think of. I downloaded the n64oid emulator v 2.4.4. Not sure if it's on that site but I google it.
I still have the n64oid emulator, but it really isn't playable until they fix it up.
I looked and worked great, however the ROM would crash periodically (every 5-10 minutes). This was very inconvenient so I will just wait until the new n64oid version is released.
Sure seems to work fine for me. Using Vegan 5.1 and pershoots kernel. I use wiimote and have a dock out to my Sony Bravia. Have not tried a ton of games yet, but all in all, it works. Anyone tried the Pcie emulator?

I'm not sure what my problem is then. It depends on the game I guess. MarioKart 64 never crashes, but Ocarina of Time crashed to the select ROM screen as soon as I entered the Deku Tree.
But xmr405o said he didn't have issues with Ocarina of Time, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

That kind of random instability is the reason why it was removed from the market in the first place. There were a flood of 1-star ratings from people with issues like yourself.
Yeah I figured that's why they removed it. It puzzles me how people are running it with no issues though.

What version of the n64oid are u running? There were issues with ocarina before but the last one he put out fixed most of the issues. No issues with the deku tree is all good. It might be the rom too.
the dev told me that he plans on putting it back in the market once fixes are made. funny thing about those 1 star reviews is that he did say in the description that it may not work well on all devices and only some games will work. i have no problem playing Mario 64 on either my nook or my gtab tho the wiimote is prefered than touchscreen. had it on my epic and only got like three games to work. mario 64, zelda orciana, and i believe starfox. the dev is amazing tho and i'm sure he will get things all worked out soon.
if looking for some old school gaming check out his other emulators
What was that latest n4oid version?
I have been putzing around with N64oid version 1.3 and Zelda: Ocarina... it works, mostly. If anyone knows of another version or another emulator app, I could sure use it. I don't know if it's my TnT 4.4 and I just need to upgrade, or if it's the N64oid itself.
Thought I would bump this thread. All of Yongzh's emulators got pulled from the market today and he made the full versions of all of them available for free (EDIT: except N64oid) download on Slide Me. This includes N64oid. I just got it running on my gTab and its beyond awesome.
Here is the link to Yongzh's profile on Slide Me, all of the emulators can be found here:
https://slideme.org/user/yongzh
EDIT: Just checked slide me again and its not free anymore. All the other emulators are but n64oid is $0.30. Oh well.
I just got psx4droid working on my epic on Sunday. Then I switch to nexus and see around that the psx4droid app doesn't work on gingerbread. Upset. I got like 15 games on my phone. Before I download. Does fpse work on gingerbread?
Or is there something else?
Thanks.
Yes FPSE is better than psx4droid and he got very good performance
Sorry for my english
FPSE is much better than psx4droid. Highly recommended.
Psx4droid ran fine on my Nexus running 2.3.3. Just make sure you're downloading the latest version. I actually found it to outperform Fpse out of the box when playing Final Fantasy 7. I guess it really depends on the game.
Well after having some market troubles with the authorizing purchase loop for 3 hours finally got fpse. Works great. Love it.
Psx4droid didn't worm for me on 2.3.4. I thought I had the newest update I dont have it anymore to confirm. I got it straight fom the site.
Psx4droid works fine for me, make sure you're using good bios files, maybe try downloading another bios file and see if that fixes things. Roms run without a quirk as well!
Do you know how to adjust the sensetivity of the controlls? There's no over shoot for the buttons and sometimes it doesn't register the press. Very annoying.
Hello all,
EA has launched Real Racing2 for Android and it looks slick! market however says its not compatible with our device.
Has anybody ported the game for gtab or in process of doing so? here's the promo for everyone to drool
Im running mountain laurel and paid for it. It dl'd all the sd data then told me it wasn't compatible. I was bummed too because it does look great. Fortunately I did get a refund.
EDIT: Oops my bad that was dead space I paid for that did that but rr2 didn't work either

I seem to be able to play the free part of the game, without any problems. Were you able to do that? It downloaded about 500MB after install though. I am running TNT Lite 4.4 (Froyo) and have a olympus build.prop fix. Am not planning to buy it, but the free part with 1 car works fine.

All I get is a black screen after the EA logo.
The free version works on Vegan 7.1 and also on my Flashback 10.0 (10.1?) GTab...
I downloaded straight off the market -- and downloaded the extra files via the app...
The only issue (and not sure if it is "by design" is after a single race, it promo's the full game and the only way to "advance" is to go home / exit and relaunch the game...
Here is a gallery and video of my nook running a PSX emulator quite well. With NoRefresh and multi-touch, I can play these games.

i have less than 20 fps Tekken3
Any ideas what is the problem?
Pretty sure it was @Deafcyclist comment that had the version number of the newest version of Fpse that worked with the NST.
My SD card got corrupted and I lost the version of Fpse that worked. Anyone remember or knows the version that works?

I never did mention which version worked. Didn't even try it out yet so I have no idea how to investigate this at the moment. Was planning on doing that around the time I recently lost my NST. So I'm now unable to even test this.

Sorry my bad. I know I found the working version number somewhere on this forum and as your comment was the only one that was deleted I thought it might of been you that posted it.
I've no experience with Ps or the emulator (not really a gamer) but a little poking around reveals that the initial flurry of posts on the subject occurred in Aug-Sep. 2012.
At that time the version of FPSe out was 0.11.25 so that narrows it down a little to that one--or earlier. It's possible, of course, that a somewhat later version might still work. The current PlayStore version claims to function with Android 2.1 and up but Google doesn't think the current app is compatible with the NST.
If I knew how the whole thing was supposed to work I'd try it out, but you might want to start with those older versions first.

Thanks for the info. But the version I had was newer. It downloaded plugins and showed game covers.
The version you posted isn't any better than psx4droid v2 1.1.2 what runs fine on the Nook.
The version I had ran PSX games on the Nook at full speed without any hiccups. psx4droid v2 1.1.2 is fine but very sluggish. The version I had of FPSe ran PSX games at full speed even with all the graphic tweaks turned on.
I am starting to think FPSe won't run because I have got rid of the PlayStore. Pretty sure it calls home to see if you have bought it.
When I was running it before on the Nook I had the PlayStore installed.
