Dopod SIM Manager

Just thought i'd share this with you Dopod SIM Manager it intergrates into the SIM Manager but offers far more options as you can see from screen shot.
Been using for along time on Dash but only just installed on PPC and all works fine.

I'm pretty sure what your asking is a restriction of sim not software as you can only save one no. per contact on SIM

i'm using "Dopod SIM Manager v1.0" and i want to know if it's support silent run and what are the parameters ( backup phone contacts in special)
What for? = i'm using "CT Scheduler Lite v1.5" and i want to schedule auto-backup

Yes u can, but default settings are to save only first number (Mobile Number);
go to Settings and check all records there to be sure that you'll not miss something when backup.

I just installed this on my diamond 2 T5353 as I can not work out how to access the sim manager in my new win 6.5 but it seems to have a minor problem in that the select all square is covered up by the instruction "press up or down or action key to select.
So I can not tick the select all box

just press up several times to be sure that u're on top of the list (select all ... bla bla) and blind select that record (i guess that diamont have a non-touch key to select) ... then backup contacts

I can see a bit of the box but it is hidden by the instruction and I can not tick it.
If I could figure out how to access the phones sim manager instead of using dipod that would be better. The instruction to find sim manager in user manual for 6.1 does not work for 6.5.
I would like a user manual for htc diamond2 with 6.5 loaded.

Hello friends, I've recently lost my HTC windows mobile phone, and along with it i've also lost all my phone contacts.
But i have a backup of my contact in my PC as a DSB file, I know that i could use the above said simbackup.cab file to restore my contacts, but the point is i don't have a windows phone to restore it.
Any help on restoring the contact in Windows - 7 Environment.

Seems to be working just fine!
Installd 8 apps with it just now and the "Install All"-button was very nice to have indeed
Under "Options" you have a spelling mistake... "Sing with certificate" istead of "Sign with certificate"

Why isn't this posted in the general windows phone 7 development area? I had no idea this existed until I followed some random links.

Seems to have trouble with some xaps? I can't install the accent changer xap file.
Other than that it's pretty good.

Can you explain what the first three options mean?
I have some problems installing 2 XAPs.
Your tool says "Connected" on the bottom left and I get no errors, but the apps do not appear on the device.

I cant send anything to my phone, ive unlocked with chevron unlock cab but no xap installer is working... any advice?

okay now got it to work, but got the same issue as the post above, some xap wont show up, for example registry editor 1.4 or advanced config for mango, really need them to work cuz of the battery fix, any ideas?

If you installed them, look in your settings at the bottom

I hate to be a noob here, but this is not working for me. I have done the devunlock cab. But when i try to install it just says trying to connect for each app and at the bottom it says "The specified module could not be found". Is there a tutorial to get this working?

This app is similar to the camera mode for htc wp gen2. So that we must wait for someone to find a way to make it compatible with other devices.

how did you guys get this running on your device via the XAP? I am in the UK and wanna load it onto my Lumia 900 but I keep getting an eror with the app deployment tool. Does this require an interop unlock?

My device is full unlock and I downloaded that app directly to device by generate qrcode from attachment to the post.

same here with my omnia "lumia" 7 with 8107 xD

@creamhackered: This App is currently available in US, China and India. Try your luck by changing your region to any of the above and retry.
As everyone reported here, its showing the same message for me as well in my Omnia. But I see its working with other device which has tango update. Mine is still 8107

- go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ System \ Platform \ DeviceTargetingInfo
- MODeviceName: change to Lumia 800
- OemName: change to NOKIA
P.S.
remember original values... if you change this, maybe your OEM manufacturer apps not working

It doesnt work on my htc titan running DFT's rom

seems drivers not match...

Doesn't work on my sprint arrive running latest tango build w/OEM name change

There's no solution for that?

I understand that it relies on Nokia drivers.

Does it requires anything for the phone?OS? 8773 or later than that?
Mine is 8107 with HTC Mozart though,

i don't know if the app need nokia drivers.. but the app only support OS 8773 or higher..
i had installed it over the marketplace on my htc hd7, but it don't work: "the app is not supported by your os version" (but i have 8773.98)
maybe someone find a way to bring this counter as app... i thought always, its not possible, but something in the new os versions make that possible..
this is for me the last important app, that i miss on wp7..

Taken from the release log from Nokia:
Counters app requires particular phone software. You can check operating system version in Settings>about>more information>"OS version". You should have either 8773 or 8779 in the string. Check for updates here.
So I don't think you need to have Nokia drivers, I'll report back tomorrow with my other phone (LG Optimus 7) which has been changed to Nokia marketplace and phone info, all the other apps works except camera extras..

oh? So your LG optimus is now in 8773? Is it updated one or just editing the registry? ==
somehow I sees ppl in Chinese forum said that with 8779 they can't use it =_=.
Edited on 1/8/12: Hey I have flashed my rom to DFTv5 rom lately,With wphtweak or winTT i changed the marketplace into Nokia.
With trying the Counters, it still fails
but the main thing it shocked me is, I just notice that Camera Extras options are shown in my camera settings
I just noticed that this morning == yet,I'm not sure it's already installed in the ROM or it's after me installing camera extra
Somehow it has ISO contrast settings that my HTC Mozart do not have =/
*Camera Extras and Counters can't be opened in App list there
I was desperate of getting counters to work in my phone,but it ended up I didn't notice when did the Camera Extra occurs @@

i have edited the registry entries identifying my HTC Mozart to Lumia 800 and NOKIA (according to a post on this board), i've also updated my default market to Nokia - rebooted the phone - no effect.
After i try to launch both Counters or Contact Share app i get this error:

Finally, someone said something usefull!! Indeed, i found an error while trying to install the CAB from the WP7 Update Cab utility saying:
A certificate chain could not be built to a trusted root authority.
How then do i sign the file and where do i get the certificate from ?? I'm currently using the latest 8779 Mozart Custom rom from Dynamics (v1.21b)

You can get this certificate from people that built your ROM. You may also ask them to sign this .cab file and upload it somewhere.

Same thoughts here. They way they did it with Nokia Drive. It will be great to have a xap and install on other devices.

Wait for 7.8 DataSmart

It didn't work on my LG Optimus 7, when I opened the app it told me to update my phone. So probobly I need something that only Nokia has...
My Optimus 7 is updated to 8337.98

First of all its not called root, we call it full capability unlock. ya of course we can get our device cap_unlocked by following simple steps given over this forum.
i am enjoying full freedom with my device ML 535 DS and dude you must try it out.:fingers-crossed:

Yes its possible to root ur phone with WP internal tools

The recent update from Ms doesn't allow us to use the well known extra+info patching method. So we can't use that one any more.
however I recently followed these steps given here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64350590&postcount=318
you need to first uninstall mix radio app by changing the date and time setting to 2110. and then reinstall the same on SdCard.
Patch it using CustomPFD given by Xboxmod.

Its 100% working as i can confirm.
Also keep in mind not to update your extra+info on your device as it will block all your caps. If you already updated it then flash your ROM for your device using image designer tool.

No dear the brilliant Windows Phone Internals works only for X20 or XX20 series ie 520,620.....1520etc
am still waiting for the developer to build it for other devices.

do you know how to take backup of data + apps any other way. When i try backup in settings via wifi it takes some time and 100% complete but it shows error about cannot backup

..i was to reset my phone so i want backup. i doing this because my phone give lot of touch issue while phone is on charging and called to microsoft they said reset your device it will help. if you better solution please share..
