And room in front for case or debit card
(see in photo miles card is sticking out )

Looks nice - especially for the price! Did it clean up okay afterwards?

Would some enterprising equipment maker PLEASE fabricate either a replacement battery door or a case that has a kickstand incorporated into it???
After being spoiled on my Evo with it integrated, I just do not understand why it doesn't exist for the Streak. The Streak begs for it even more than the Evo would otherwise!
I think every case with a belt clip should double as a kickstand in the mechanism. It is a win-win! I wish I had the capabilities to fab my own stuff sometimes!
Ok, I feel better now...

The Otterbox defender comes with a belt clip that doubles as a kickstand. Very handy, you can adjust the angle. Of course, it is quite big, however it offers great protection. I dropped the Streak several times already, not a scratch.
If the worst happens, you can always use a plate stand

I went to the office supply store (Staples here in the USA) and got a couple of cheap business card stands made of clear plastic. They work great as stands!
The Otterbox Defender is a case that has a kickstand. There is a review of all of the Otterbox cases a few threads up with pictures included.

Have the same trouble. I would like to use the full five inches of my streak for my mobile office work and already got a nice bluetooth keyboard, which works quite well. The efforts to find a suitable case solution are greater though. After some research I found two other ones aside from the Otterbox Defender already mentioned in this thread.
First one is the original wallet case sold by dell. As new member I cannot post the link. Pro in my opinion is the still sleek design and build in kickstand, but reviews criticise poor quality and operability despite the high price.
Second one I like most is the solution from Noreve selling a high quality leather case. Again in comparison to the Defender the design is slim and fits easily into a pocket. But a problem with all these fancy looking alternatives seems to be the protection. I already dropped my streak a while ago carrying it in a leather case. It hit the ground with its edge and got some deep abrasions, because the case did not provide enough protection. I hope some companies out there care about customer feedback and design a nice case, which allows save transport. My favourite would be the commuter case with built in kickstand.

and i have found this nice little thingy which fits nicely with my droidpiss bootanimation
That's what I use (business card stand). It was $4.99. I put it upside down landscape and the orientation changes, Then charger from the top. Poor man's desktop cradle.

you could always jimmy it and make a small hole on the bottom to allow the usb cord to go in through the bottom to charge .
I just bought a new case off of eBay, one that looks like the incipio feather case but a lot cheaper. It was $2 but it took 2 weeks to receive since it's from Hong Kong.
Quick review - it fits really nicely and the inside is smooth and even so i'm not too scared of it scratching the back cover (which btw is already pretty scratched). It has a rubbery coating which feels really nice and it doesn't bulk up the phone too much. Overall the fit and finish is great, definitely a steal at $2. I really like it and as you can see in the pics, it looks pretty good (sorry for the bad quality pics, I didnt have a camera nearby so I had to use my laptop's webcam)
What do you guys think?
Here's the link to the one i bought if anyone's interested:

Thats a bargain.
Might have to set up an ebay account finally just to get this
The white and black look looks really good. That's a deal.
Alright so after one day of use there's a problem : the case is a stain magnet. Seems like everything just rubs off onto it. And you can't clean it off. I guess I should've gotten a black one.

i waited so long for it to get here but it was worthwhile !
best case i came across for nexus 7 , one more thing that make it worth is the screen saver, it very high quality !
this is my fist unboxing for you, hope youi like it
I'm not a big fan of the cases that cover the screen. Others I've seen are bulky. This seems like the perfect fit for me. It's barely noticeable and adds an extra line of defense, except for the screen. I just don't like having my screen covered by anything, not even screen protectors.
Thanks for this.
Good unboxing vid! I have a kickstand case from nillkin for my Sensation and is a quality product. I see that the micro USB has good clearing so that you can use different USB Cords if needed.
looks googd.
debating this or a folio type case.

I noticed it really is a lot like the S line case many sell. My question is this case totally smooth? The matte color area on the S line is textured which is nice but the seam runs along the edges making this slightly uncomfortable to hold for a long period of time. I can't go naked with this tablet but it's much more fatiguing with the case on. I think if the case were totally smooth it would be more comfortable. The 7 inch form factor for me is really pushing the limit for one handed use, the slight increase in bulk even from the tpu case pushes it that much further for me. I'm 6'3 but I have average length fingers. If I had big bear mitts maybe this wouldn't matter. Just curious.

Hey I just ordered one!!
I've been looking for a decent gel case for ages. The generic S and X cases looked really cheap and nasty.
I hope its a really tight fit. Never heard of Nillkin but from your vid and the pictures it looks real quality.
Now I just have to be patient and wait for it to ship from China to the UK

The image a lot of sellers were using for the S and X cases were badly done concept art not the actual case, the reality is very different they are actually very nice well made cases.
I got a clear "iTALKonline S-Line" TPU case and its excellent quality it actually looked tighter to fit than this one, I'm also in the UK got mine from Amazon £3.49 free delivery came the next day.

I bought mine from tablet.world on Ebay for $12.70 shipped. It looks like they do ship workwide too.
Just do an eBay search for Nillkin Nexus 7.
Do these Nillkin cases fit better than the S line cases? I have an S line and it just isn't snug enough. The sides tend to flex away from the device way too easily.
Thank you for effort in making this video. I only would like to suggest next time when you do videos, please turn your camera in panoramic view. In youtube, the black space on the sides occupied more room than your actual video, which is more important. Just a tip!
Anyhow, thanks again!

I picked up a leather holster from Amazon for under $6 shipped. If your flip cover doesn't add too much more thickness then it should fit fine. Received mine in 2 days. Better then ebay's china 3 week shipping.

That looks like its for the note1. Don't think it'll work with the note2.

It definitely fits nicely and secures fine. I also removed the shiny logo in front for a cleaner look. Then again, the damn thing still looks like a fanny pack. Oh well, it serves it's purpose

Cool, good to know!
I'm also looking for holster case, but most holster case have magnetic strip.
Dose its magnetic effect to S-Pen?
It has a magnetic strip that keeps the flap secured and does not effect the s-pen.
The holster clip has just started ripping off the back of the case after a day and a half off use. Shopping for another case...
