How do you guys get all these screens looking so different? is it apps you are downloading? I hear people refering to thriller ROM? whats that exactly? i still have the same plain icons and 5 screens with a plain backround? im assuming all these things are in the widgets??

There are alternate home launchers available. Search the market for LauncherPro, ADW, or GoLauncher. There are tons more out there but those 3 are the big ones.
They allow you to theme your phone a little more, change icons, some come with custom Widgets.
And yes certain apps come with Widgets you can add to your screens too.

Suit yourself, but I think "the big clock thing" is almost a must-do. To me, the biggest claim-stake that Android has in the cell phone game is widgets (meaning to say that if iPhone introduces widgets, it will be an obvious swagger-jack. Kinda like the notification bar was...) and what better way to flaunt your widgets than a fat clock right in your face when you unlock the phone. I use a Beautiful Widgets 2x4 Home clock on every ROM I run, which gives me the opportunity to pick a skin that matches my theme/setup and also doubles as a shortcut to weather, alarms and calendar or realistically whatever three apps I want.
Screens look great guys, I'm jelly of your ICS ROMs and hey Shark_On_Land.... you should kick it "old-school" with a "big clock thing" sometime

My first impression is whoa! I'm very impressed. I'm not a fan of blue themes but this is tastefully done and not overbearing blue. I like the use of gradients and miui inspired notifications. Dialer screen is nice too. I'm using and evo lte which is xdpi and on paranoid android an aosp Rom. Some minor things might need attention but I'll post screen shots and more details when i have spent more time with this theme.

I got mine yesterday, after a couple months wait.
I have the beta running on my phone right now. While I understand it is limited and in beta, I am just not impressed with the application. It is way too limited in terms of customizability. Maybe this will be something they introduce in the full client, but as of right now I just can't see myself using the application daily.
I would agree. I think the real gratification from themes like these come from making them your own. As it stands right now, you can only use pre-made themes. You can add and delete widgets, but at the cost of breaking up the "look". Nothings wrong with this, however if they really want to innovate, they need to design the app to have "base" themes or basic bottom layers that the user can then select and choose coordinating icons and widgets to place on top of the base, however they choose. Basically, they should take all the customization apps like zooper, icon packs, walls, etc. and combine them into an assembly line type app where you add what you want, in the style you want and then it's thrown together for you on your screen, then you fine tune positions etc and boom you have a unique home screen.
I'm sure that this is planned for the future (I hope), but right now, as I tinker with it, I can't see myself using it until it becomes easy to manipulate and customize.
Edit: the built in "themer any widget" is step in the right direction, but it's hard to use. And obviously cannot match all themes
