I have found a way to use widgetlocker to make a very nice sense 3.0 lockscreen for the epic with proper auto rotation
1. Install Widgetlocker from market (must be 2.2 and above)
2. In look and feel settings page choose Layout
3. change the slider so that you have no anchor
4. add sense 3.0 custom slider to bottom of page
5. add lock screen clock to top of page
6. press and hold on the lockscreen clock and choose edit
7. select background color and move the transparency slider all the way to the right
8. erase the text saying widget locker in line 1 of the clock widget
9. press and hold the clock widget and resize it to 4x1 and put it all the way at the top of the screen.
Now you have a sense 3.0 lockscreen that will properly rotate when you wake your phone by sliding the keyboard.

How do I add extend the dock to add more Icons.
You simply drag more shortcuts down to it. The dockbar will only ever display 6 shortcuts, you can see the rest by dragging the dockbar right or left.
Note that the dockbar is not the left/right action buttons next to the app drawer button, it's the bar that comes up when you swipe the drawer button up.
In the newest ADWLauncher you can create a shortcut to the App Drawer much like creating any other shortcut - long-press the screen, select 'custom shortcut', 'custom activity', 'launcher actions.'
Using Desktop Visualizer you can create a shortcut to almost anything EXCEPT the ADW option does NOT show up in the shortcut list. Even when I click "other" in Desktop.V.
Anyway around this? I'm theming and using the 1x1 widget b/c it makes the icons larger than standard shortcuts. Everything is great except this!
Bump this.
I also want to know, any one?

It annoying isn't it, something so simple and its no an option.
But I have figured out away to do it.
1. Add a shortcut to open the app draw in the normal way.
2. Place the icon in the location you want it
3. Long press on the app draw icon and change the icon to a completely transparent icon.
4. Now create the desktop visualizer widget/shortcut in the normal way but when you choose action select none.
5. Make sure in adw setting you have overlap Widgets ticked.
6. Move your desktop Visualizer shortcut so it is just above the transparent icon that will open the app draw.
7. Long press the desktop Visualizer shortcut, select edit and the resize it so it completely covers than transparent icon. I would recommended keeping the desktop Visualizer shortcut 1x1.
8. In adw settings hit restart adw and you should be good to go, the app draw icon should be on top of the desktop Visualizer shortcut.
Hope this works for you because it does work for me

DISCO! Thanks bunches.
Here is a custom GoLauncher setup, inspired by Motorola Defy 7 Theme of "thefoss" and Android Ice Cream Sandwich
Screenshots at the attachments bar below
This theme was tested on a Samsung Galaxy Y with 3" display. I am not sure if the same effect will be achieved on your phone. Just play around with the settings
Instructions:
Homescreen
1. Download GoLauncher Ex bit.ly/uXhx52
2. Download the ICS Theme bit.ly/qvB8S0
3. Go to GoLauncher. I recommend to set this as your default launcher.
4. Go to Menu>Themes and select Ice Cream Sanwich. Select Apply.
5. Go to the icon of the Go Theme in the app list. Change the wallpaper.
6. Clear the homescreen and dock except for the app list icon. To remove the plus when removing icons on the dock, click the plus, scroll to the bottom of the pop-up and select blank.
7. Download Desktop VisualizeR bit.ly/ruAi5D
8. Download the icon pack bit.ly/iRg3SE. Special thanks to the guys over at next-level-android.blogspot.com for the icon pack.
9. Download the Minimalistic Text widgets (it is the date widget in my setup) bit.ly/rWGpxh
10. In Go Launcher, go to Menu>Preferences>Screen Settings>Grid Size and set the grid size to 5x4 (Five rows, four columns)
11. You can now start adding widgets.
Notes:
In Desktop VisualizeR, make sure to clear the label and remove the touch effect (set it to none)
Lockscreen:
1. Download WidgetLocker bit.ly/uglgql
2. Download the slider shared by dbrits bit.ly/kvnjg7
3. Open the .zip file. Select WidgetLocker in the "complete action using" pop-up menu.
4. Install the slier.
5. In WidgetLocker, go to Menu>Settings>Look & Feel>Layout then uncheck "automatically determine grid size" and set the grid to 7x4.
6. Add the slider. First, resize the slider by long-pressing the slider, then quickly release it when the phone vibrates. Now, shrink the slider horizontally, then expand it vertically.
7. Add Minimalistic Text widgets, preferably three stacked on top of each other to the right of the slider. Make sure that the widgets are semi-transparent!
8. Unlock to exit.
Notes:
Disable alternative wallpaper. It is disabled by default. If not, go to Menu>Settings>Look & Feel>Alternative wallpaper. However, you can use another wallpaper. The layout is up to you.
So, I've got a desktop full of images that I use as icons through the use of Desktop Visualizer. My whole screen (apart from dock) is filled with these images and I kind of wanted to get rid of the dock and replace it with one of these icons.
I found a solution to making the dock disappear through the use of ADW Launcher which allows you to hide the dock. It's not ideal since I would've preferred to use Nova Launcher (I'm on CM9 and I love Nova Launcher) but it has no option to hide/disable the dock (in fact, ADW Launcher is the only launcher that I've found with this option).
Anyway, now that the dock is gone, I can use it for widgets (which is basically how Desktop Visualizer works) however Desktop Visualizer does not allow you map "App Drawer" as an action. So basically all this effort has been for nothing unless I can find a way to map the icon to App Drawer.
Another thing I considered was a launcher/dock that allowed you to use custom sized icons for actions (most launchers only allow you select a certain sized icon to replace the default) but I couldn't find anything.
I've tried to search both XDA and Google but couldn't find anything useful.
TL;DR - Need Desktop Visualizer alternative or a way to map one of the widgets to act as app drawer icon.
Thanks in advance.
I need help with this too. Any ideas?
The only way I managed to do this in the past was to use a normal icon and the widget, and overlap them. (In ADW settings there is the option to allow overlapping.)
First insert the app drawer icon (Press hold > launcher actions > Open/Close app Drawer)
Insert your Desktop Visualizer widget, select the icon image, and set the action to none. Then press and hold on it, and using the re-size arrows drag it under the app drawer icon.
Finally press and hold on the app drawer icon, and change the icon to a transparent (empty) image.
You have to insert the app drawer icon first, as that makes it on top.
Its a pretty crude way of doing it, but I don't think there is another way, although I would happily be corrected if there is!
Or you could possibly just put the icon on your wallpaper then use a transparent icon.
In that way, you could have many possibilities in theming your desktop.
Hi all,
after we add a lockscreen widget to the screen, we will need to swipe left or right to see it right?
is there someway to set a lockscreen widget as default, so you can see the default lockscreen immediately instead of sliding right or left?

Yes.
When on the lockscreen, press and hold just below the clock widget & slide down so that you see the full panel on the screen.
Swipe left to find the panel containing the widget that you want as default.
Long press the required panel and drag it to the right so that it is placed in front of the panel containing the clock widget.
This is now your default lockscreen widget.
