UD Launcher from the Ultimate Droid rom by Blackdroid.
Posting the Launcher separately for those who like to use it.
This patch will remove any launcher installed [ADW, Stock] and replace it with UD Launcher.

woah thanks - you know I'll give it a go as soon as my stolen phones gets replaced

I really like this, it's basically the stock launcher with extra options for customization. I just wish I could change the number of home screens, then it would be pretty much perfect.

x2 on the # of screens. Also would like to change icon from browser to messages with stock froyo pic

There was a guy in this subforum that changed the browser to mms for the stock launcher. He helped me change it for my d2, ill post up his notes if wanted.

just try it on your own.. if it doesnt work, it wont work. then just uninstall it.
its not going to brick your phone or anything, go ahead and adventure yourself

well tried it with the 2.3.4 update. FC loop on launcher trying to go back now

still loving it - actually hope to see is come back to nscollab at some point.

Simple Calendar Widget beta for ICS

Just an FYI for fellow fans of Simple Calendar Widget from the market: the developer posted a free beta of the ics-compatible version.
This widget has always been one of my favorites and I was bummed when I learned that it wasn't ics-ready. The beta works perfectly with oICS v21 and it also includes new options. Check it out:

Nope, works great on my D720 running aosp's oICS v21. This is still a beta - try e-mailing the developer for a solution.
Does the widget not show up in your widget-picker, or does the app force close like the previous version did with ICS?

You're welcome! Sounds like the same behavior that the market version exhibited with ICS. Email the developer to see if he can fix it for the next release.

[MOD] Gallery 3D smooth as oil...

Hi all, another mod from "ex Dell Streak king"...

Odexed roms : Backup "Gallery3d.apk" and "Gallery3d.odex" from "\system\app", delete them, copy my apk in same place, restore permissions, reboot.
Deodexed roms : simply backup "Gallery3d.apk" then replace it with my new one, restore permissions, reboot.
Only first boot, give it time to rebuild thumbnails...
Enjoy and don't forget to press "Thanks" button..

smooth but i lost my picture frame widget

looks like this apk will use 16bit color while the stock one use 32bit? the background looks not as smooth as the stock one. but sure the speed seems faster...

The gallery that came with KK9 and KL3 are also smooth, never had issues with them.. so what makes this any faster?

2 minutes of your time, try it by yourself, and if you don't like change back to old one...

Removing lots of functionality ( edit, crop, copy rotating print .. ) does not make sense unless you preserve all functions!
Using 16 bit (maybe 8 bit ! ) does not make sense as an improvents....
Your effort is based on reductions that is why your modded3D gallery looks fast. As other said stock 3D Galler is smooth ...
Briefly your modded 3D Galler is cropped so that it is smooth.
Thank you for your effort. Maybe someone likes reduced functionality of your modded 3D Gallery ...

Inverted gmail

Can anyone point me in the right direction for an inverted/black Gmail apk? thanks

Afaik, the Gmail mods so far don't turn out as well with ics. Some extra work needs to be done to remap some pngs to get it looking right. Will post if I find or make an ics version. Seems like most of the big themers still aren't on ICS.

don't know because is on my phone. But it's an apk, so i think there is a big chance that it will work on many phone like other app.
Try it and tel us

It only works on LG phones, much like samsungs weather widgets touchwiz only unless someone hacks it somehow or makes a clone somehow it wont work..
