Is there a software or diagnostic mode that can tell me the current mA thats going through the battery ?
Since I have a Gigabyte motherboard and Im using the ON/Off Charge port which is also said to have 1Amp of charging output.
You can download Battery Monitor Widget free or paid. This app has what you are looking for and lots more other info.
Download this app: Battery Monitor Widget. It provides lots of information

Hi all,
Does anyone knows of a widget that can work on the Note to display the battery ma?
Previously using currentwidget but seems that it doesnt work on the note anymore.
Thanks~

I use Battery Monitor Widget , best of the best
It should be mentioned that Battery Monitor Widget does not display real current draw, but estimated current draw. There is currently no way to read the actual current draw of the Note.
The PM chipset in the Note doesn't support ma reading. Battery Monitor Widget readings are more or less accurate because the values are only estimates readings.
I have just found that Battery Monitor Widget can cause wakelock and you could end up with battery drain.
There is a battery management chip - MAX17042 in the Note, which does support current (mA) reading. Reading the relevant registers does give results that are dependent on the expected current draw, but I have not yet found the correct function to convert raw values to actual milli amps.

That could possibly explain what completely drained my battery a few days back - I couldn't see what it was that caused it
I have a new battery on my phone. Its working perfect. I had to change because my old battery was swollen and died at 80 percent.
So recently I noticed that as my phone is charging and me doing small tasks on it the percentage of the battery goes down instead of up. Ive ran a battery tester and i get -155 mA going into my phone. So it discharges. I connected my charger to different plugs and I use the stock cable. I have a replacement cable as well. I know my charger is good as it works great on all of my other devices. What could be wrong?
It charges when I leave it. But As im a busy person I need to use it even when its charging. Thanks
Edit: When I dont use it it gets 500 - 700 mA and when used while charging (not used in heavy gaming just a internet or facebook/youtube app) -155 - -500 mA
1.turn off ur phone and charge
2. When its charged to 100% go to cwm recovery and delete the battery stats.
3. Calibrate battery using any app.

No! Deleting battery stats does nothing except clear usage data.

Hello. Just do a manual calibration.
Envoyé depuis mon N7000
The same thing is happening with me and I know it's annoying as hell..
Try to calibrate the battery. If it didn't work.. and since the battery is new as you say, maybe just maybe the charger needs to be changed, maybe it's not powerful enough for this specific phone and battery.
I found that all I needed is a better cable as the currentnone was broken. Now its all okay. Thanks
Hi,
since there is currently no replacement battery/LiPo-accumulator available (read: I did not find any....) for this tablet
and LiPo accumulators have a limited lifespan - I am interested in prolonging this lifespan.
From reading regarding informations from the internet I found some factors, which "kill LiPo cells":
- Heat
- Excessed charging
- Excessed discharging
One suggestion for a longer lifespan of such cells was: Dont discharge the accumulator till the charging
logic cuts off the current and dont charge the cell until 100%.
I found an app which rings, if the charge reaches a configurable value, but I didnt found one for
alerting me, if the discharge drops below a certain value.
Is there any?
Is there a way to disable charging completely while the tablet is connected via USB and drinking
current from there?
What can I do?
(If someone knows of a source for replacement batteries...this would help too )
Best regards,
tuxic
Hello
I want to know somethings regarding battery on Note 9:
Does Note 9 need the 30%-80% charging limits when used normally (just some phone calls, whatsapp, emails)
If so, what is the app which is best suited for this? I tried battery life extender, but that does not work properly - no alarm rings.
Thank you

Accubattery Pro should help.

It is better if you leave your device alone while it is charging. As using your device while it is charging can cause additional wear and tear on the device.
That is a myth, using your device while charging has absolutely no impact on battery health.

True - simultaneous usage by itself doesn't do anything, as long as you avoid power-intensive tasks such as heavy gaming. Lithium batteries don't like the excess heat, so at least try to keep yours below 50 Celsius or 122 Fahrenheit (cooler is better - this is where the cells start to degrade really fast).
Use battery warner on google play. If your phone is rooted the app will stop charging at a % and recharge again when it hits under a certain %. Great when i have it on charge over time. It will charge the phone back to 100% 30mins +/- before your clock alarm goes off
Hello,
Is there a function on Xiaomi, especially for the Mi 11 Ultra, to maintain the battery.
Apple and samsung have the function of reducing the charging speed from 80% charge status in order to save the battery.
I use the quick charge function with 67W and would be happy about such a function.
is there any way to do this?
Plug charger cable into a usb 2.0 port on your pc and come back and check the next day.....

With the latest generations of battery it's not clear this is really needed.
Besides the 11 Ultra comes with a new battery technology (silicon-oxygen anode) which expects it to be able to handle fats charges without aging too fast (On top of allowing higher battery density)
If you're worried, as suggested above, you can probably simply use a slower charger. For charging at 80% of max capacity I think there are apps that allow you to do that on pretty much any android phone.
