after i flash the cm7 at first i can download in the android market but after i reboot my mobile the market become nuts it always says "cant download due to an eror" in all the files i try to download... pls help me someone
did you find a solution?
What exactly did you do before rebooting ? Did you restore something using Titanium Backup ? Have you tried "Wipe Cache Partition" in recovery mode (CWM) ?

i do everything i know that may cause the problem even changing the firmware, but still nothing one thing i notice is that when the market updates that triggers the error, even im not rebooting .....sorry for bad english
Backup your apps using Titanium Backup. Then browse to folder /sdcard/.android_secure and delete everything. If still problem, then go to CWM and Wipe Data.

Now this is interesting, I never thought of this before.
Kecik, did you ever use script /init.d/30mountcache ? It mount-binds your /cache/download folder to your /sd-ext/download. This in effect enables you to download apps with size over 25 MB (cache partition total size) from Market.

I had the same problem. kecikhebat's post fixed it for me. Thanks

Ok this is my second attempt to get an answer for the issues I'm experiencing.
Hopefully someone out there knows whats up and can give me a real solution.
I will pay the person $40US via PayPal if you can help me solve the issues listed below.
Here we go...
I can flash any rom or kernal successfully, however once booted I can not restore TIBU or install anything from market. When I click ok on download at market is does nothing, just allows me to repeatedly click on download icon. But never begins download. The second issue is if I try to restore backups using TIBU, they never install, just sit there as if they are installing, but never do. Also if I try to install any apps sitting on my ext-sd, they do the same as TIBU, just sit there showing they are installing, but never do.
Having said all that! If I flash to stock JF6, everything works fine, no issues whatsoever.
Now I have repeated this process at least a dozen times with no changes. I have flashed just about every custom rom with the exact same results. But again, flashing back to stock, zero issues.
Please do not suggest I run market fix, as this does not explain my other issues with TIBU or installing apps from ext-sd.
Others have suggested using android id changer after I have installed custom rom, the issue there is I can never install it from market after I have flashed custom rom because of the above issues.
Please help, this is driving me crazy and thanks in advance to those that know what's going on and can direct me to a solution.
NOTE: Yes I do a Master Clear & Clean Dalvik cache after every flash !! After flashing to stock, I can root and modify settings file under dbdata to allow third party apps with no issues. All issues are directly related to custom roms only!

Maybe an obvious question: Have you tried clearing the data and cache for the market.
Settings
Applications
Market
Clear data
Clear cache
I had a similar problem (apps would download and fail to install no matter how many times I downloaded) I also only had my problem with custom ROMs.

Obligatory flame about not reading the post.
Please try the below steps as they are so it would be easy to debug.
1. Backup ur data from internal SD to PC
2. Use one click to come to stock (don't root or install any stuff here, except enabling USB debugging)
3. Connect to computer, and mount drives
4. Quick format the internal SD on windows (if u r on windows; telling this cos I use windows)
5. Copy the ROM in my signature (dilligaf's 7.x) onto ur SD card
6. Reboot into recovery and install the ROM (do not use TiBu or do anything else at this point)
7. Go to settings and add ur market linked gmail account
Try connecting to market now n see if that works.
When I turn my phone off and back on, it seems some application revert to default settings. Eg. some of them lose the "don't ask me again" status of dialogs, some forget other statuses and some games even forget which level you completed.
I'm using 2.3.3 Official, not rooted (applied via Kies with no hacks). Anyway to fix this?
(I'm pretty sure all of these settings survived a reboot when I first got me phone with 2.1 installed)
Sounds like your database is corrupted, maybe due to lagfix not uninstalled correctly.
You will need to wipe internal sd card, factory reset and maybe reflash with repartition 512.pit

I'm a newbie and I have the same problem.
How do I backup the data? From Kies I only find options to backup the Contacts, Music, Photo and Videos. What about the apps and other data like SMS, call history, etc?
Really appreciate the help. Thanks.
If you have root use titanium backup.
If you dont have root use appbrain.

I've just instaled appbrain. It doesn't seem to have options to backup text messages, and call history. Any app can do that?
Thanks a million
There was a problem wit 2.2.1 because samsung mounted dbdata folder in the wrong place (to fix the lag) maybe its the same problem, still unfixed....
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Its the problem of dbdata. That problem was never fixed.
To reproduce the issue, you can install an app, uninstall and reinstall it. After that, settings wont be saved for that app.
If you install an app and never uninstall, then the app will work correctly.

ummm, sorry for the stupid question, but what's the difference between wipe and format the sdcard? I know I can't format the sdcard from the phone, but how about wipe? how do I do that?
Thanks.
I installed FPSE, and then uninstalled it after having problems, but now I cannot install either the version I downloaded, or the version from the store. Both tell me I have insufficient storage space available, even though I have well over a gig free.
Also I am able to install other things.
Any ideas?
I am using Gingerbread 2.3.6, rooted..

Use some Root Browser to check your system folder to see if you have available storage space. Sometime the old files are not deleted and they fill up the storage space. If this is the case you need to format the system folder before you can install anything.
I had the same problem too, after I uninstalled N.O.V.A. 3 and can't install it back. But other apps has no problem of installing.
SD maid from Playstore might help here^_^.
Contrary to the name, it clears cache and left over data and logs from the phone internal and external memory.

If you have another Android device, you can force the app back on your phone.
1) Install app on other device
2) Make Titanium Backup of app on other device and send it to your phone
3) Open Titanium Backup on phone and go into preferences; change restore location to external storage
4) Restore app backup from other device
5) After restoring app, go into Settings -> Applications and move the app from SD to phone
6) Now app is installed on phone just as if you installed it normally and you can change your Titanium Backup restore location back to default

Try to clear cache and data from the store.
Easy, uninstall the app first, then go /data, search the app name, like "titanium" or the package name, sth like com.xxxxxx.xxx, should have that name.odex or any other, delete it, but make sure its correct name of coz, after u deleted the file in /data, u can install it again
But yea, like the above user say, it usually appear in crack app, if so, do the purchase mate

+1 Emprize
You must have some leftover file for previous installation, serch and delete of that will allow to install again.
I had this problem the other day trying to install apps with titanium backup and the play store, both were getting this error. I fixed it the same way by going into the data/app folder and deleteing the .odex files in there. I had two in my folder, one was 'com.kermidas.TitaniumBackup-1.odex' and i cant remember what the other one was. I think when an app is uninstalled or modified, it sometimes leaves a .odex residue file which causes the error.
Here is a simple SOLUTION :-
Install lucky patcher now press the menu key
Choose troubleshooting now click on removes fixes and backup now u can install the application

hi I'm using nAa v 13 kernel and gingerevolutionHD rom and after a month I got a wifi error..I am turning it on and it is saying conneting... and no wifi connections are shown undernith..
I had the same prob with Gingerxperia rom .. any solution except restore or full wipe and at the worst case to keep my games saves... heeeelp
Use SEUS or flashtool to update back to 2.1
What about mine?
I connected but no internet. But on laptop everything is perfect!
There must be some settings in router or IP but I don't know how to fix that
If could someone help me!
Nothing else you can do.
NOTHING.
Unless you flashed the wrong kernel e.g. minicm7 I flashed gdx alfs and I got wifi error. I flashed alfs cm7 and it got fixed =D
But its not a problem just back up your apps using titanium backup.
Or if you want the easiest way to back up your apps download astro file manager
then backup your apps through there its really easy
if you lack storage issues 2 soloutions:
You can limit the quantity of app backing up then put it in usb mode then store it safely on your desktop once you full wipe you can just put it back on your SD CARD
or 2 you could (Or atleast what I did) Take screenshots of all your programs. Like if you slide through page to page just screenshot put it in your desktop then once u full wipe u will know what app is missing etc if they are small files.
Other than that just back it up and full wipe no prob. . . . if you full wipe your sd card does not face anything purely on your android system.
Hit thanks if I helped
ftwisawsome; I know what apps I have!!!
with these ways would I have my saves after restoring and backing up again??
e.g.drag raicing I most care about that

Once you back it up using astro file manager a file will appear in your SD root 'backups' you click on it you see all your backed up files. And yes you have your saves stored in your sd card. Once you full wipe and wifi working get on google store go to app store download astro file manager or es file explorer or something then RE install the apps you backed up Have fun.
If your just worried about apps thats all you need.
I think this is cm problem...

Sorry for rotated pics
your problem must be your google gapps. I have suffered this kind of problem and my only solution was to reinstall gapps after uninstalling all the google apps.
- Donload from this forum the gapps for your OS (GB, ICS, KK???)
- Open the file for the gapps and navigate inside the ZIP to the /system/app golder
- Look at all the files inside this folder, an uninstall all those apps from your phone. You will need to be rooted an to use a root explorer, for example ES file explorer or Root Explorer
- go to recovery, wipe cache and dalvik, in "mount and storage" be sure to mount "system" (it mus show "unmount" to be mounted)
- Install gapps and reboot
This has worked for me. Try it and give feedback
Thx for reply but its my dad's phone and he never allow me to root it :7 so any way for non rooted device plz

Due to low memory my dad uninstall the updates of play store and uninstalled Google play services also.

Then the only solution is to try to flas new gapps again. Being in stock you can acces the stock recovery yet. First of all download the temporary CWM from the forum (search....)
Access the stock recovery with the combo Vol Up+home+start. Then in recovery-->apply update from sdcar-->flash temporary CWM. Now in the new recovery -->mount and storage-->mount system-->install zip-->flash new gapps-->reboot
Try this
Possible without root?? If yes then plz send link of temporary cwm recovery for samsung galaxy pop+ s5570i .

pop_plus_CWM-Scorpyo82.zip
It is right for you. You can do it without root (I believe)
Thx buddy but i m little afraid coz i googled it and found only wrong files or recoveries for gt s5570 not for 5570i ...
Some people like me who dnt know the difference between mini and pop ,installed those recoveries and bricked their pop plus (GT s5570i).
Hit THANX if you are the best
And buddy the gapps u said take lot of memory but i need to replace the TALK APP only i think!!
