Good launcher for mini?

Guys which is good launcher for our lil g...? It has to be really smooth..? Tried many but they are not quite smooth...!

ADW and Launcher Pro are good for icons and smoothness..... . While, QQ launcher Ex has many features but doesn't look nice on our device. Try and see if you like any..

ADW and Launcher Pro are good for icons and smoothness..... . While, QQ launcher Ex has many features but doesn't look nice on our device. Try and see if you like any..
I personally prefer ADW for it's smooth performance and nice UI.

I like so much Launcher GO ex for speed and customization.
You can have directory in menu launcher to organize your apps and I find this feature really usefull!!!

Zeam
Always Zeam for speed since the Mini has low RAM and a slow CPU.
Try it with an empty desktop (for widgets) and full transparency for the applications menu, so you can swipe down to get the full set of apps showing over your wallpaper.
Go Launcher is nice, especially with Go SMS and Go Contacts, as you can theme them all together.
ADW, slightly better technically but less user friendly (crashes) than Go.
Espier for freaking out the iFans?

I was using the qqlauncher is AMAZING, but in the lastest versions appear that isn't compatible and it was in older versions :S

go launcher eats to much ram! argghh!!

Agree with all of you..personally i like go and adw...but they consume more ram and make the phone sometimes laggy..

Launcher pro imo... uses less ram

zeam is smoothness, fast but little customs

Touchwiz for smoothness..go launcher for customization..launcher7 for show-off..lol..

i think the ics is the smoothest

used go launcher till now, atm i'm using adw and i'm enjoying it

My question is: only Go Launcher has directory feature to organize apps?

LauncherPro. And it's worth the money of buying the plus version, Let's your esize widgets, and adds some stuff like contactswidget. It all works nice!

hi guys
i have been looking around launchers for months for my mini
i tried sevral launchers but all of em had some and sort of problem
so of em are laggy.
so who ain,t laggy are not good enough, less features
if with more features but low interface
in my opinion Go launcher is better..
TSF
is good too...
i request all my brothers to help me find a perfect launcher
having good features
speedy
less use of resource
food interface
easy to use
if any of my brother have the solution
plz share it here,,
so all the brothers can have benefit from it
any tips for performence is appreciated

Yeah me too

I really like ADW launcher with black theme, i've also tried LauncherPro, it's good too, and GO launcher, which had some crashing issues on SGM

yup same here, never had a problem with Go Launcher ex and its features..

for smooth launcher: ADW Launcher EX (good options and themes)
for Options and Features: GO Launcher EX (more and more themes,widget and options for you. customize your home without limitation)
for battery saving: Launcher Pro Plus (but have less themes and options)

thanks to all brothers for replying.. and giving their precious opinion

i use adw launcher from cm7.2 because only he have shortcut to app settings. to see installed/running apps. and is smooth and stable.

I opened this thread to share oppinions about your launchers you are using, why do you use 'em?
For now I'm using Go Launcher Ex, i've tried the ADW Launcher, Espier Launcher, Shell 3D Launcher but the Go Launcher EX works better in my Galaxy Mini and has better design, I love the effects options and the fact that is to simple to use the launcher. But I dont like the themes that are compatible for go launcher ex, they are too low quality. Do you have any other launcher that you think is better then Go Launcher Ex?

For me i like adw launcher ex specially its folder style... go launcher is good but not good for me..

It depends on the taste of every person.. I have also tried Go Launcher Ex, ADW Launcher, Espier Launcher and the Xperia launcher (the one with the animated corners).
I agree with you, for Galaxy Mini, I think that Go Launcher Ex is very good. It's not heavy and have many useful functions. The folder option is what I use most in the homescreen (Although it can be used in the App drawer) And it offers me a good way to close open applications that I don't use it in the moment.
ADW Launcher is Nice, but in order to enjoy it at 100% you need to have the full version. Nevertheless, it is very good and it is the default launcher of CyanogenMod 7.
Espier Launcher is a peculiar launcher. Those people who love iOS of iPhone, will love this launcher. I've tried this launcher for a couple of months and it was very useful (because the homescreen is the app drawer). The folders are very elegant and you can find your app in an easier way without go into an app menu.
I didn't like the Xperia launcher, maybe because I was used to the other launchers.
o.o In conclusion, I think that Go Launcher Ex is better for Galaxy Mini.. Of course, I will try other new launchers.

Ss launcher for me is the best . I can make my perfect screen with this launcher

go launcherEX as well as adwEX ...both are good launchers and there is no doubt about it.But if someone likes to taste a new launcher then you can try 'zeam launcher'...It is very fast and suitable for me......

ad launcher ex....suits me best

Adw ex for me aswell. I was using go launcher for a long time but after upgrade to gingerbread is starts lagging. I tried deleting lot of system apps to save the memory and have more than 150 mb free ram but still its lagging...so adw for now and waiting for more features in Phoenix launcher, ftl launcher and 360 launcher

I use Launcher Pro from the time I got my galaxy mini.

I am surprised of how few have mentioned Zeam. It's surprisingly fast, really low on the RAM and works like a charm. It also has great design and works really smooth!

After trying and testing most famous launcher like adw, adw ex, go launcher, zeam launcher, launcher pro, qq launcher, etc i found adw ex be the best for me.

Go Launcher Ex is better for me
because of the unlimited home screens
and i think it is unique in that

Go launcher is the most graphic detailed and customeable, but adw is the best compromise for our galaxy mini... it allowes to do almost the same things of Go launcher but it drains less ram and battery, and is in general more fluid and reactive.

simple and really easy to use : adw ex
varied, many add-ons : go launcher ex
that's the best launcher that i've tried

Try QQ launcher also. .same as MIUI launcher but not much themes available online.

Try tsf shell.. Its eating lot of ram but with root and ram manager you'll be good. Its really awesome. I used it on mini before i sold it. You can find cracked version on internet so don't need to pay 16$

Iam looking for a launcher for my Note which support widgets resize, since I have many widgets are 4x1 only?
I know that the best launchers are ADW, LauncherPro and Go Launcher EX, so which one does that ? and which one is better?

Go launcher ex is working fine for me
But really you better install them all and see what works the best for your needs

i use the re-size function normally for Facebook and twitter widgets and it works perfectly
what rom and kernel are you using ?

Iam trying Go Launcher now
still have a problem with 1 widget for prayer time pro, still does not fill the screen, other widgets are ok, looks like it is from the app it self
iam using Official stock rom with root and franco kernel #9

Well, I am new owner of SG Note. Before, I had SGS and used ADW Launcher Ex. But on NOTE, i have some lags when I use ADW Launcher EX (2 screen with widgets). Could You recommend me some "not-lagging" launcher (except TW - this doesn't have laggs)?

did not like Go Launcher EX because Iam missing the Galaxy Note default launcher widgets such as Month and Task which I need them, will try something else

I use Apex Launcher on ICS & it changes the size of Widgets.

I have adw launcher ex. Its very smooth and good for the battery life. Go Launcher is also good, but i think adw ex is smoother so i prefer adw ex :thumbup:

the others i've used but i dont like them this much (go launcher, launcher pro...)

tsf shell no doubt. you actually get a fluid experience. it's the best launcher in terms of fluidity.

I use Go Launcher because of full personalization and very smooth.. adw launcher seems not very smooth on my OB.. One of most smooth is tsf shell, but i don't like it..

Nemus Launcher, Go Launcher, ADW Launcher Pro.

The launcher i like the best is Holo launcher, very smooth, ics like, you can customize folders and you can chose icon packs form apks so it makes it kind of compatible with other launchers themes

IMO Go Launcher installs so much useless crapware and since all their apps intertwine, i wouldn't be surprised if they 'anonymously' took information to 'better' their services.
I use Holo Launcher for realistic ICS look and plus its FREE!!!!!!

For me Xperis s launcher is the best because you can manage place of the application in application drawer... and all launcher pro and adw launcher icons work.

Holo launcher has lags, Go Launcher uses many ram. Launcher Pro is fluid and lighter. Xperia launcher is ok to use.

MiHome Launcher (MIUI)
I use the MiHome Launcher from MIUI and for me it's good to have widgets and apps all in one place

been using adw free since day one hehheheh i bought the paid one to support but still am using the free one cos i like the hidden dockbar thing =P

Hi all, i like the nemus launcher. I used LauncherPro for years, but it will not be updated anymore and the functionality is not "the state of art". Nemus is very smooth, small and you can use the go launcher themes on it.
Give it a try.
