Please Help - Diamond Overheated and is dying !

Hi all, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem...
Last week, on a very hot day in Australia (36*C), I received an SMS message whilst the phone was charging....
Anyway, this turned the Diamond on, and it connected to Wifi, and stayed powered up (for some reason) for a couple of hours....
Anyway, the phone was very very hot when I unplugged it, and since then it has been playing up very badly...
The problem has been getting worse and worse, and Now I am at the stage where the phone is almost bricked !
When I switch on the phone, I am presented with a white screen. (It doesnt boot up)
If I power up holding down the Volume Down, Rest, Power Button, I can get into the bootloader screen.
I can even reflash the phone with a new Rom....
If I reflash, the phone may run for a minute or so, then crash, and refuse to power on..... (Same problem as above)
Im reluctant to send the phone off for warranty, as they cannot give me an estimate of if it can be fixed, when it will be fixed, or what day of the week it is.....
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did they fix it ??????
(Im hoping I just got a dud version... I love this phone, but I am hoping this is not a common problem !?!?!?!)
Cheers for any help anyone provides !!!!!
try removing battery for 10-15 and make sure your running a 1.93 rom because 1.37 and older are known for heat issues.
you may have already done this, but its not in your first post and there are order of operations to follow.
hey buddy even i hav the same problem..it just restarts after heating up..and after 2 restarts it doesnt even go beyond 1st diamond loading screen...dont know what to do....
Guys, send your phones back to repaired or replaced. Just explain to your provider what is going on and I'm sure they'll try to help.
yea buddy...i guess so...thats the best way i can get my diamond fixed..

MDA III randomly shuts down without reason

Well, I have a MDA III from T-mobile.( better known as a HTC kaiser)
The problem is that the phone randomly shuts down totally automatically.
It does not make any differrence if the phone is in my pocket or on my desk or when I'm on the phone with somebody, it just shuts down without reason.
And the number of shutdowns is increasing each day. Some days even up to 10 times. Sometimes it does not even start-up when I press the power-up button.
The phone has been for repair 2 times and the repairservice keeps repeating that they cannot find any problem. I bought new battery for the phone and still encounter the same problem. specs: windows mobile 6.1 and totally set back to the factory settings.
I hope that somebody can help me out with my problem?
many thanks, lexio

Mine did that also, even though the " new " battery I had bought for it was only 3 months old. I took a chance, and bought another new battery and have not had the problem since.

[Q] i9000 hangs when starting a call

Hello,
i have a problem with my SGS I9000.
The problem is: When i making a call, the phone freezes. The screen turn black and i can use any button. But the phone is making the call. If it turns to a voicemail of the person i tried to call i can't hang up.
The're is another problem, that maybe or maybe not is the cause of the 1st problem. The USB port is not doing anything anymore accept charging. So i can go to download mode. But Odin don't recognize my phone.
Does anyone know a solution for these problems?
I had the problem with the usb port and i fixed it by changing the usb cable.
Thanks for your fast answer, SimMasterIbra.
The cable is working fine with my wives SGS2. So i assumed that the cable is not the problem. But i will try another cable.
Anyone an answer to my first question?
A new cable and the USB problem is solved.
The main problem its still there. When i make a call the phone freezes. if the person i phoned hangs up than my sgs hangs and reboots it self. I can make the call, but I can't do anything at all with it.
Please can someone help me. It's very annoying.
Nobody can help me??

[q] help! Htc one on qhsusb_dload mode

Hi Guys, I need help on my HTC One. I decided to join this forum to ask for help from you guys. I am no android nor a pc techie which makes me a newbie when it comes to terms and everything technical, so I have to say sorry if I don't get or understand your terms on your replies.
Here's the problem. MY HTC ONE WENT DEAD! My phone is updating it's applications that time and then suddenly the screen freezes and eventually went off. After that it won't turn on or even respond to a hard reset(power button + volume buttons). Wall charging it or even plugging it to a PC doesn't make the notification led turn on. But i do notice that when i plug it to the PC it cannot install the device so I take a look on the device manager and the device name of my unit is "QHSUSB_DLOAD". I googled it up and other forums says that its a problem on the motherboard and it's on a hardbricked state. I've done a lot of searching and stuffs but I cannot find a forum thread that will specifically fix HTC One(because i think that cure/solution only applies to a specific unit). I've seen them unbrick other HTC units but not the HTC One. I know the easiest solution is to bring it back to a HTC service center but I think that's gonna cost me big bucks knowing that it's a motherboard problem.
So guys, with all my heart I beg you, If you know a solution or any thread that discusses the same problem as mine, Please Help me T_T.

You sir are screwed. Your HTC One is bricked & I don't believe it is fixable. There might be one thing to attempt but since you are not a techie, it would be very difficult to try. It need to go to a repair facility.

HTC ONE M7 - Heat issue? or Faulty Battery? Weird - MAJOR crashing issue

Hi, i hope you can help with my issue with my m7 phone.
I have an issue with my phone randomly crashing and shutting down all of a sudden.
For example i may charge it fully to 100% and use it like normal.... then if i decide to watch say a 1 hour video..... it suddenly after some time (varies 30-90 mins) while it is playing it shuts down and goes black, and is not a normal shutdown.
When i try and press the power button it does not switch on... i then plug in and see all charge has been lost and it is at 0-3%??
I really want to get to the bottom of this issue, and hope you could help?
Do you think if i get the battery replaced with a new one it will fix this?
Or is the issue with the motherbaord/cpu/other..... which basically means my phone is not worth repairing and i should bin it?
I hope someone can help as this is a relatively new phone so should have no issues.
Thanks in advance

I think you already got your answer yesterday and that starting a second thread for exactly the same question wasn't required imo (also prohibited by forum rules btw) If you have more questions or information to give about your issue, use your existing thread. :good:
hi
ok thanks
