[Question] Disable all data connections with power button

Hi,
Now i have to ask, because i can't find my self. Is there any app to Touch Pro what would disable all connections when i press power button? When im not using phone, i always press power button so screen goes black and it won't use unnecessary power. It would be very good, if same time all data connections, bluetooth etc. would be disabled.
That would be handy. I'd use it! But until we find it you could do what I do.
Set the long-press button to toggle Airplane Mode. To turn off the phone you hold down the hang-up key to kill the radios and then use the power button to black the screen. To turn on you'd use the power button and then hold down the hangup to turn all the radios back on. It's an extra step and takes an extra 5 seconds but it works.
You can also have the long-press pop up an option menu.
Just a thought.

[Q] How to active screen without power button

My kaiser's power button is dead,,,How can I active the screen without power button? Sorry for my poor English.
Easy, just rewrite the kernel with ATools and under the button mapping part assign a new button.
I assigned the "end" button as well as the power button (there is an option for this inside a box to the left), that way I can wake my phone with either the power or end button.
Hope this helps...

Home button remap mod + call screen issue solved!

For null ROM users that have the home button remap mod enabled (allowing you to manually turn off the screen with the power button when using 3rd party launchers), there is a documented issue where it can be difficult to wake the gear back up when in an active call.
Pressing the power button usually results in the screen flashing on and turning right back off. Sometimes you need to double tap the button or time the presses just right to get the screen to turn on and stick.
Fortunately, I stumbled upon a solution to this........this assumes you are already using Xposed.
1) Download the "Xposed Additions" module
2) Activate the module and reboot your gear for it to take effect
3) Go into Xposed Additions -> Buttons -> Add new Key and then press the power button at the prompt.
3) Select the power key option that should now appear in the list and add a new condition for "Screen off"
4) Set the "Long press action" for "End Call".
NOTE: Long pressing the power button while in a call does not actually work. BUT you will notice that you can now reliable press the power button (just once) in order to succesfully wake the gear back up from the in-call screen.
I have noticed no other adverse effects after making this change but have only been testing it for about a day.

Remove AOD home button?

Even after removing the AOD home button under Settings/Lock screen/Always On Display you can still hit the home button location to turn the screen on. Is there a way to disable this home button location all together on the lock screen? I find myself gripping the phone around this location while not using it and the screen keeps turning on.
Under Settings - Display - Navigation Bar. Turn off the "Hard Press Home Button" option.
Search "Hard press home button" in settings and turn it off. You can also adjust the sensitivity. I actually find it useful but even on the strongest setting, I frequently press it accidentally.
Awesome thanks!

Question When I press power button, phone goes to lock screen instead of turning off display

Hi, when i press the power button on my pixel 7, sometimes (i would say 50% of the times) it goes to the lockscreen instead of turning off the display. I cannot figure out why sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Is this an intended behavior or it's a bug? Maybe I've missed some "smart" feature?
It could be the feature "pick up to wake" . So when you are pressing the power button and move the phone at the same time it wakes up again.
Does it also happen when the phone is flat on the table?
To have more control over when the screen turns on, consider these settings
Display:
- Disable wake on plug
- (Other important settings here too)
System->Gestures:
- Disable tap to check phone
- Disable lift to check phone
- Enable long press on fingerprint sensor to unlock phone
- (Also consider changing press and hold power button)
I had this on Android 12 Beta when I changed the animation speed to x0.5
