Adw ex = $0.10!!! - Nexus S Themes and Apps

hey everyone,
i know a lot of people especially on ICS ROMs are saying ADW EX is pretty great experience and the new update is awesome. most people probably know about google's 10 cent apps but i figured it would be good to let people know that ADW EX is currently 10 cents on the android market.
https://market.android.com/details?id=org.adwfreak.launcher
your welcome.

Damn. I paid full price a couple months ago.

Got it figuring what the hell. I like LauncherPro better still even though it hasn't been updated in forever...

Yea I wish I didn't pay full price for it...oh well.
And when did they start charging tax???
I bought Tetris for ¢0.10 and was charged ¢0.01 in tax!!! I know its just a penny but what about regular apps that aren't on sale? How much tax would that be???
idk how I got here...

Grabbed my copy... Can't go wrong with .10 cent apps... Even if its not a daily driver its still nice to know I can go into the Market and grab it from "My Apps" list to install at a moments notice.
I've bought 6 or 7 apps already from this 10 cent deal and still haven't spent a buck, awesome idea Google...

yeah pretty much, lol. i was a big launcher pro fan for a while, was then using Go Launcher too on gingerbread. i know a lot of people like adw ex so i figured i'd try it. some aspects very similar to Go. i dunno, i feel like there is just something about alt launchers that dont feel natural compared to stock, even though stock is lacking in features. but yeah for 10 cents i figured i'd play with it. i dont think its 10 cents any longer, just one day.

But there is still one thing why I don't buy this or any other App from the Market. Only credit cards are allowed..

And after some googleing, i read about a lot of germans complaining about the paying options in the market. Well, no surprise..

I snapped this up when I saw it. I love these deals, I check daily and get all sorts of stuff I never would have.
What I do when I buy stuff off the market (im Canadian with no credit cards) is just go to the store and buy a 25$ prepaid visa or mastercard gift card and have that there for the times I want to buy a paid app.

Yeah ive seen some stuff like this. Back earlyer this year when the Nexus One just came out people didnt know you could just go to googles online store and buy it for 530$ unlocked, and on ebay they were going for 700-900 so people got smart and made a buy it now listing for 25$ saying i will tell you how to get the phone for 530$ and people bought it and all they got was a link to www.google/phone

ebay is a scam! i lost 400.
i remember people selling wm5 upgrade instructions, the rom maker can protest to ebay, but that's about all that can be done i think.
Sadly like when doing email scam, if just 1% of people who watch this buy it, then it will be profitable for the ones doing this fraud.
So they will keep doing it.

Two scammers in one day

So I'm attempting to buy an iPad to use it to show clients photos, instead of printing portfolios. So I turn to good ol' craigslist. Got 2 scam replies. I see they are getting more clever. lol.
#1:
Hey, sorry for the delayed response, but someone already bought the iPad and
picked it up. You might want to try and buy one where I bought mine at. It's
an auction site kind of like ebay that has quite a few iPads.
I am usually able to pick them up there between $130 and $160, I think it's so
cheap because the site is newer and there aren't many bidders yet. Anyways,
I'd recommend you shop there if your still in need of an iPad. The site is
called BIDSAROO.com. I just checked and it looks like they have one
ending soon and the bid is at $53 so far.
When I signed up they gave me this coupon to give to friends, but I haven't used
it yet. Your more than welcome to use it, but I think it expires tomorrow. It's
good for placing some free bids on any auction. The coupon is: free3042
Hope this helps you!
-Chad
P.S. Here is a little secret I'll pass on to you. Right now there is a glitch/hack
on the site that will allow you to block other people from bidding on the item.
When you place a bid, hold down the enter key until the auction counts down to 0.
This should allow you to win any auction instantly. But I'm not sure how long it
last, I'm sure the site is working on fixing the glitch/hack.

Hi, I am getting back to you regarding the 64GB 3G iPad from Craigslist
My name is Arianna and I am now in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom.
I am selling the ipad for $450 USD. I have attached some pics with it to this email.
The ipad is still available and I hope you are still interested. The ipad was bought brand new from Apple a few weeks ago.
About the ipad I can say it's in perfect shape, as I used it only for a few weeks. Included in the $450 price is everything that came with the ipad.
The ipad is here with me.
I tried to be as thorough as I could with the presentation so you can have all the info if you decide to go ahead and buy it.
Please get back to me and let me know if you like the ipad if you're really interested in buying it.
Thanks,
Arianna

Your $450 gets you *only* what came with the iPad, not the iPad itself.

They're just hoping you'll skim over that since it doesn't really make any sense, not until you get the first part anyway...
Deception is fraud, so even though it doesn't say you're actually buying an iPad what they're doing is against the law.

Predictions for sales

So what do you guys predict for sales figures for this? If Google can make a big announcement out of this on the Play website and actually make a commercial, I say it will be Kindle Fire sales figures.
Google really needs to market the device ... but we'll see! I would hope a lot with that price range.

Agreed. I preordered the 8GB version. My Kindle Fire with CM9 seems fine with just 8GB so I figure I'm "safe".
I'm hesitant without a micro-sd slot...how can you really market it as improved for 3d gaming if you only have enough room for a couple of really big games after music and videos, etc?
Now, if it has support for USB OTG then I'll be good...thumb drive and a little velcro and I'm set.

Why is that?
For me, its not really a big deal, I don't put 1000 apps and 10,000 movies on my tablet at time. I usually have 50-100 apps and about 5-6 movies on it at a time. If you aren't using it, why have it on there?
im also hesitant without an sd card, but i figured you can always use cloud storage to save things (drive, dropbox, etc). thats why i also skipped on the galaxy nexus, oh well. im still ordering one.x)
I said it in the other thread. There are wireless drives you can use with this. I personally have the Kingston widrive (32gb) & the airstash (any SD card). There is also a Seagate 500gb HDD that is wireless that should work.

After being blessed by the HOLO when I get a new HOLO device I actually give my old ones away, and spread the word of Matias Duarte
My friend was all like you know they sell this galaxy nexus for 500 on ebay. The best thing you can do is you can purchase two visa gift cards for 5.95 for each because the max limit on visa card is $200

262 -6 -6 = $ 250

BillMeLater turned into PayPal Credit. They still offer no interest for 6 month deals, but its not a blanket offer like BillMeLater was. There are inclusions, exclusions, and tons of fine print.
BTW, I overstated. The fine print for the APR reads:
"The Annual Percentage Rate is 19.99%"
(which is still outrageously high)

So what if you finance it through Motorola if you are good with money you pay it off.

Just use T-Mobile and finance.
G3
You can't finance through PayPal unless the seller accepts PayPal. I could be wrong but I don't think the Play Store does. Verizon doesn't or any of the other carriers. Your only shot is Motorola if and when they decide to. Unless you can pick up a new one on EBay or Swappa for a reasonable price. You know how that goes guys say they are new but there not + no warranty unless you get a carrier to honor it.
I didn't mean to sound like a jerk when I posted that response last night. If you have 0% interest for 12 or 18 months and you pay it off without getting penalized for late payments or whatever, it's a good deal. On the other hand, if you are planning to pay off the phone with a credit card that charges a ridiculous interest like 10 - 30%, I would agree that it's not a wise choice. In the end, it's really none of my business to tell anyone how to purchase a phone. Sometimes, if you want the latest and greatest phone, you'll do just about anything to get it.
