10 GB Free Online Storage & Unlimited Bandwidth - Off-topic

I wasn't sure who I should say something too, but there is a better service for free unlim bw hosting and more space than Dropbox. It's minus.com if you just create a public folder for say each phone or each phone&rom combo and link the folder page it gives unlimited bw, if you just hyperlink straight to the rom then at a certain point it gets throttled, but never turned off or suspended.
Also use my link and get instantly 1GB extra and everyone you refer gives you more space, up to 50GB -> http://min.us/rucQ78U
They have both desktop & Droid programs & all URLs are short.

Yeah I got it during beta from a friend. I have a small HDD so the majority of everything I have is on Minus & google now instead of Dropbox. The unlimited bandwidth & up to 50GB kind of blows the others away.

I don't think I even know how to do that! But I did scan the network...700+ devices at any given moment. That check all box was tempting, but that would surely land me in $#!+ about 20' deep. Not worth it. I did test it with our robotics CADD teacher (with permission) and it worked great. Although, the only thing I don't like is that it shows only the manufacturer and IP/MAC addresses. I wish it would display the computer name.
I had to go cmd -> ipconfig to get his IP and then locate it in the list to block it. Also, a sorting by IP would be a great addition.

Free 50GB cloud storage at Box.com for LG (and Xperia) users!

I've had a Box account for 1 month now. And their free box is 5GB. From Nov 30, 2010 to December 31, 2012 though, a deal between LG and Box will upgrade your storage to 50GB for free!
I already tried it. (I faked my SIM as T-mobile just to be sure though, as the promo did say that it's supposed to be for US folks only. )
Have fun boys and girls!

Box.net offering Free 50Gb Lifetime Cloud Storage to Android Usrs

Box.net is offering free 50GB cloud storage for life if you sign up from your android. DL the app, sign up with a new email address and upon completion it gives you a message that you now have 50Gb. Normally it is only 5Gb so this is a heck of a freebie.
Not sure how long it lasts so go get it.

Oh and since you knew about it for so looong, where is your post letting the rest of us know about it?

So, box.net has been offering 50GB to LG users for awhile and the post you reference seems to confirm what i said... that the deal for all Android users has only been live since the 23rd. You will notice that I posted this in a Samsung thread who's users may have missed this posting in an LG thread-I know I did and I even searched for it.

Hooray! 50 GB Free Storage with your Nexus 4

For those lucky ones who already got their Nexus 4! I'm still on the waiting list... damn you Google!!!
http://www.androidcentral.com/lg-nexus-4-qualifies-50gb-free-boxnet-cloud-storage
As it's being sold primarily by Google through the Play devices store, it's easy (and accurate) to think of the Nexus 4 as a Google device. But it's still an LG-made phone, and as such qualifies for 50GB of free space on Box.net, thanks to a partnership between manufacturer and cloud storage provider.
To claim your free space, simply log into the Box.net app from your Nexus 4, and upon loading the app for the first time, you should see the message above, informing you that your cloud storage allowance has been upped. And as part of a time-limited deal, Box is also allowing you to share your good fortune with friends or co-workers, giving them access to 50GB too.
The promotion runs until Dec. 31, so you've got plenty of time to bag some extra bits, and free up some of the Nexus 4's precious (and limited) internal storage space. Check the Google Play link above to grab the official Box.net app for Android.

Scantopia - Get Paid for Scanning!

So I found this neat little app called Scantopia. It's basically just a way to make some extra money while having fun scanning product barcodes. You don't earn whopping amounts of money, I've made about $2.75 in two days, but it's still money and it's kinda fun.
When you have $3 dollars or more, you can transfer the money to your PayPal account. You also make tokens, which are used as entries for sweepstakes, like the $1,000 weekly jackpot.
It's pretty cool, try it out. When you do, please input my referral code HV-QTP-SA because it will help me earn some more money Happy scanning to you all!
