Turn data on/off using tasker app? - Nexus S Themes and Apps

I'd like to use tasker to turn data off when the screen goes off, and back on when screen comes on automatically. Anyone know how to do this?

Wifi stays on during sleep

Hi all
My Wifi stays on during sleep even though in settings I have this option set to never.
Anyone else experienced this? And is there a way to make the Wifi go of when n7 is in sleep mode?
Thanks
Chris

Could use a battery saving app and see if it kills wifi

Thanks I might look at that, it's not a big issue was more curious to see if any one else's acts the same way.

Have you actually given it time to turn off? Not sure if it is 5 or 10 minutes but for me it eventually turns off.
EDIT: I am set to "Only when plugged in"
Or there is a build prop tweak that suspends it in sleep like pm.sleep_mode=0 or close to that

The N7 wifi stays active for several minutes after the unit goes to sleep - even if you have it set to be only on when plugged-in or off when sleeping.
This is a really stupid design so I use my wifi widget to just turn it off before putting the unit to sleep.
There's most likely a setting somewhere to tweak to get the wifi to turn off immediately when the tablet sleeps.
Yes, the built in wifi off at screen off sometimes takes minutes and sometimes never turns it off.
Green Power, Tasker, Settings Profile, etc, all market apps will turn off wifi for you on screen off.
I use Tasker myself.

Sleep mode

Guys, what is this? Anyone know how it works? There is limited info on HTC's site.
Does it only shut off the mobile data? Will I stop receiving email when it kicks on? What turns it off? Unlocking the screen, or does it read the accelerometer?
Anyone know? It was on by default. Phone seems fine, but I don't want to stop receiving email whenever my phone sits for a while.

YES???
No really when you phone sits for longs periods without use it will turn off mobile data wifi etc... Once you turn on the screen it will turn everything back on. This is the new smart dormant mode or night mode for HTC. I hope imagine its has some type of adaptive algorithm that will know when to conserve power and when not too but I'm sure I'm reaching too far.
I'm not sure if it has a smart algorithm...from what I've felt is simply turns off the data connection around half an hour after I turn my screen off. So far though it hasn't affected my use of the phone though I guess the real difference should come when you sleep at night.

Wifi off when screen off?

Anyone having this issue with their S6? Mine keeps knocking itself off of my Wifi whenever the screen turns off, and consequently removes itself from Wifi calling. I already checked the Wifi sleep settings and even went into the service menu and turned off Wifi power save. Anyone have a fix? Can't text without wifi calling at home and I'm having to leave my screen on constantly so it doesn't turn off.
I've done that already, and it does it even plugged in.

Display dim

Does anyone else have the problem where the screen dims after inactivity (doesn't turn off) and when you start using it, it doesn't turn to normal brightness no matter what? Only way to get back to normal brightness is to turn on and off screen.
Just saw it in action and it might have to do with the greenify auto hibernation feature (non rooted). Does anyone use this?

Using Tasker to disable apps

Quick question for you smarter people. I have Tasker setup to disable 3 apps when I turn the screen off, and turn them back on when the screen comes on. For whatever reason, they don't want to actually work. Here is how I have it set up.
