1) a 3.5 mm fm transmitter which will work on any 3.5 mm jacked device.
It should be purely analog. And contains a in built li- ion battery. Draws audio from 3.5 mm jack and send it on air in the tuned frequency.
2) a docking station with audio playback and usb charging. ( trying to figure out the methods through htc music head phone controls volume, next, previous, and stop/ play music) . So that i can add an ir remote too..
Post ur suggestions.
Regards
Showly.

This should be in Your speciffic device forum.
You want a $10 FM transmitter from radio shack and a music dock.
Nop. Thatz not a device specific one. But the thing is in case of dock, i have only hd2 with me for checking. Thats why i go for htc. If some 1 can provide me the headphone diagrams of other phones, it will help me 2 develop a generic dock.
And about readymade tx and dock, nop i am not going 2 buy them. I am going 2 make them. Thatz it.

this one is what i am planning to build, removing the mic , then adding a low ohms resistor in series to the i/p, and then connect it to the 3.5 mm male pin(for inserting into 3.5mm jack). adding a small 3.5 v li-ion battery, and a usb or similar charging port. and enclose it in a small box..
for now its a mono tx. but you can bulid a sterio one with ba1404 ic, but i cant get one here.. so i went for mono. but i will give u the circuit for sterio one
here is it

Ok, so hoepfully someone can clear this up as I don't yet have my Kaiser (tilt) and am trying to get some accessories.
I previously had a PPC-6700 which synced and charged via a standard mini-USB jack.
I then upgraded to the PPC-6800 which I only had for about a week (had to give it back to my work). With that device there was a different type of usb jack on it that seems to be what the Kaiser also has. Can someone tell me what this is called?
From my recollection however, this slightly different jack would also accept the typical mini-usb plug as i can remember using my PPC-6700 wall charger on it.
So can you use standard USB to mini-USB plugs to interface the Kaiser with either a PC for sync/charge or to a wall-charger? What is the new interface called and what is the point of it?
thanks much!
I may have actually answerd my own question as I have found (I think) the name for this new interface... EXTUSBTM ? Is this correct. And the point is to interface the charger/sync and audio headset together?
If this is all it does then I should be fine using all my old mini-usb plugs for data interface/charging, right?
thx!
Yes, you can use a standard 5 pin mini USB cable. The port is HTC's 11 pin combination sync/charge/audio port. Both their plug and the standard 5 pin mini USB plugs fit and work.
Wikipedia (for once!) isn't too big on details here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTC_ExtUSB
But basically, it's got 11 pins to handle audio, power and syncing.
Have a look here for pinouts etc.

AT$T Cheaped me out again. I only got a standard USB sync cable from them! DoH! lol
Hi
I don't know if people realise this but you can modify a generic car charger to automaticlly activate the Navi Panel mode so you don't need to buy the SU400 kit.
You will need a car charger that is capable of suppying 1 amp, to enable fast charging. ( Use an app called Spoon Charge to check) or disassemble the USB Micro A plug and ensure Data- and Data + are soldered together. DO NOT solder Data - and Data + togehter if not already done so this means the device is not capable of supplying 1amp.
If so you should have a unused pin ( this is called the ID pin) solder this along with Data + and Data - to OV.
When the charger is connected it will launch Navi Panle if enabled and turn on bluetooth and pair to a set device.
I will take a pic of the modded plug and post it up. In theory I would assume the same mechanism is used on more than this device.

OMG LEGEND bro. lol. Finally someone figured out HOW to do this so you don't have to buy that overpriced HD2 carkit. Thanks. Mod's this should be a sticky.
mods seriously this should be front page news
Are you sure, that this will work? Did you tried it yourself? Cause my CU-S400 is also activaiting the Navipanel even if i don't have plugged in the Charger! So I think that it hasn't anything to do with the mAh-size of the charging unit....
You're right.
Right connections for recognition Car Kit Mode :

When I used my iPad, I had the Jensen Rocker dock that was pretty much perfect for all media purposes, with a swivel mount to allow the iPad to be used in portrait or landscape, rather decent built-in speakers in the base, remote control, etc.
I'm sure the answer is 'no', but does anybody know of any sort of speaker dock available for the Tab? I've only found things that require being plugged into the headphone jack or syncing with Bluetooth, which would be fine if there were some central spot to at least perch the Tab so it looks like it was built for such use.
I have the HDMI dock, but even plugging that into some external speakers would look more like a rigged Frankenstein contraption. It seems that accessory makers have all but given up on the Tab, so are we pretty much stuck without all the goodies like a speaker dock? What do you guys use, if anything, for this purpose?
Hi, If you prefer quality sound over just-some-sound, then BlueTooth cannot be because they are bandwidth limited compared to the full audio band record in CD. I don't have a dock, but if I ever wants sound to SGT, then I would get it from headphone jack with voodoo sound anti-jitter and 128x oversampling.
I use a Bluetooth receiver connected to my Stereo System.

The Tab just sits in one of these cheap docks:

I own three of these bad boys, its great they connect up to each other each with 3.5 out put and each has its own 3.5 in put so theoretically you could have an infinate chain of these. Each has its own battery. I have a wire connected to mine to extend the reach between the device and speakers

I have these too, great little speakers. They'll go nicely plugged into the official docking station when it's finally available in the UK.
X-minis are pretty damn impressive for the size of the things if you place them on a suitably resonant surface. I've got a Beacon Phoenix now though, mainly bought for the convenience of Bluetooth but that sounds even better for its size and doesn't have an irritatingly short cable
I got the slightly larger ones that do stereo:

50 bucks vs 2x20 for a pair of Mini II and a special mini stereo to pair of mini mono cable. I should point out that you can always get the stereo to pair of mono cable to expand that mini at any time. Also you can get the max ones for less than 50. Quick search for the type of stereo mono cable: http://www.amazon.com/STEREO-3-5mm-...&keywords=Cable+stereo+mini+to+dual+mini+-RCA

I love my X-minis , have the II, the Max II and the Kai (bluetooth).
They get used by everyone in the family and I'll often use them with my N7 for streaming radio (buddyjacked or chained) or watching a movie.
My thoughts here.
I wanna buy a USB-C to 3.5mm & USB-C 2in1 Adapter that is compatible with my Note 20 Ultra that support Hi-Res Audio and Fast Charging as well, but I see many reviews to various choices complaining about issues and incompatibilities.
So please I need help in determining which brand name type is good for me.
Thanks
Any Help ?

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the bestNow that 3.5mm headphone output is nearing extinction in smartphones, it's time to start compiling the list for the best USB-C to 3.5mm adapter DACs. Many phones don't even offer analog output anymore on their USB-C output , so the only option is to have a dongle/adapter with a built-in DAC...

Have you been able to find one with fast charging, that's what I'm looking for ?
I use this one, and add a c to 3.5mm when I need it. Otherwise I use usb earphones with it. Does support simultaneous fast charging, at least.
