Just wanted to say THANK YOU !!! - Nook Color General

New noob just wanting to thank everyone here, especially the developers and guys who put all this stuff together. Even the other noobs, thanks because when someone asks a question we all learn from it.
I am right now running mrg666's MiRaGe- Kang build from SD, awesome rom. This has been the most stable and fast of anything I've tried.
Thanks so much for making my Nook a great little tablet.

Verbal thanks are always appreciated but the better way to thank the developers is to donate. Coming up with ROM's isn't free.

[ROM]Unity [Beta][Not released]

Hey all I would like to announce that I am getting into the cooking game again, but this time I am serious and I would like to say thanks to the community for everything that is now available and all the hard work that is put in.
I am making this thread for all my releases and this will help me learn faster.
My first release will be very basic, just a few apps and such and it will be based off of WWE 1.19.831.0 - Radio 52.49a.25.26. I will release it when I feel it is ready, but keep in mind that I am still learning. I want to do this so I can have my own ROM and be aware of whats going on when your fellow chefs are cooking you up a delicious ROM. My ROMs will be like a road side diner meal, but then they will gradually become better.
You can disregard this thread if you like, but I want to keep all releases on this thread.
Thanks,
Tito
PS: I don't have a Blackstone yet. . . . , I will try to get one asap.
I also would like to thank, Laurentius26, and kwbr, for your help. Even though I am not done learning, you have helped me understand the basics !!

Hi Tito, you learn fast! Success and fun with cooking.

THANKYOU To All The Chefs!!

I Dunno if this deserves a thread or not,
but it struck me today that we (Rhodium Users) have been getting some really excellent ROMS just recently from all the Chefs who gracefully share their hours of hard work along with all the beta testers who allow their devices to used and put in meaningful bug lists so that the majority can experience something a little better that HTC originally offered.
Maybe someone can put it better than me but i just wanted to say a Massive Thankyou to everyone who actively contributes to ROM development on our devices but especially to the Chefs who put all the research fixes and Often cutting edge software together to make some astounding ROMs ready for us all to use.
I'm sure we all thank the chefs individually at least i hope so! and please DONT turn this thread into a "who's is the best ROM" cos that sucks.
But what ever your preference in build or manila flavour or chef, I invite you to join me in a collective thread of appreciation for our Windows Mobile ROM Development Forum and all who contribute to it so abundantly.
Thanks!
To all u wonderful chefs my hats off to u!thanks a bunch and keep up the good work!
Yep this is a well deserving thread, cause with out you guy's (the Cooks) we would all just be conformists leading simplistic lives
Thank you
A big thank you once again for all the hard work it is very much appreciated. Our devices would not be as great without the effort these guys put into cooking ROMs for a bunch of whiners and complainers but they continue and put up with it. My hats off to all of them.
yupp a big thanks to all of the chefs for all their hard work and excellent and unique roms thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you...i love u guys and gals
Not to be a party pooper or anything, but I think a small donation (a dollar or two at least) will please the Chefs quite a lot.
If each one donated a dollar to his favorite chef of the rhodium community, he/she would appreciate it a lot. I know many GREAT CHEFS, who's names will stay anonymous) have stopped developing roms just because they weren't getting anything back in return (they were devoting their time to developing, THEY DO HAVE OTHER WORK TO DO AS WELL). They are not asking much. Its only a small donation.
What is a dollar/month compared to what they have given us.
Oh and, Thank you CHEFS

Well said my friend! Donate indeed not only to the chefs but to xda as well!
I'm pleased to see such response off thanks to our good chefs, as you say i know members have stopped developing roms due to lack of appreciation and by starting this thread i hoped to counteract that a little

Thank you! [Edited]

Thanks to ::indie:: for his outstanding work on SGS2!

Well mates, here I am so. I've just registered to this forum mostly because I wanna to thank everyone here for their hard and unbelieveble working at Developing and/or cooking roms/kernels/mods/themes and so on. But I also need to say which I am here mostly to give a BIG thanks to ::indie:: as we can see in his following thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18149305#post18149305, for his OMEGA job here Oh yeah, because all you need to know about flashing roms you have in a amazing organized way plus you get all others mods, addons whatever... I know of course, MANY MANY respect to ALL of the Area Dev. I'd already tried many others roms let's say 8 other custom roms and yeah I was a very lucky guy for being pleased by too greatest jobs on SGS2
One valuable word: ::indie:: please don't stop your work, the awesomeness of SGS2. Thank you!
This is it, I'm going out now but again... thank you very much to ALL dedicated and serious Developers and to all other people which are friendly here always attempting to help each other.
Cheers

Back after some time :)

Hey, my name is Stefan.
I've first used ROM's published here on my first Smartphone (pretty sure it was a HTC Desire HD) and learned how to backup, root, flash kernels, firmware and rom's from alle the awesome people willing to help out.
Now I'm getting back into modding some android devices and working a lot on learning on Raspberry Pi..
My skills and understanding might be called very interested programming layman with some technical knowledge (actually my father is the code genius in our family)
All in all, interested in pretty much all new tech-developements and willing to help, if and where I can
Greetz and thanks for your great work!
Glad to see you back on XDA! The HTC Desire was a classic device! Enjoy the forums development, etc.!
Cheers
