I want to using the Stock Launcher which is included in Stock ROM 2.1 (I think its called: "SE Home" or somethins like this..)
And i want to have back the Timescape which is included in Stock 2.1 too.

Timescape from 2.1 for any custom rom probably does not exist and any timescape in custom rom which i saw is that in GingerCruzt and it looks good try this rom maybe You like this..

Hello everyone,
I see more and more ROM on Gingerbread with the MIUI lockscreen. I wanted to know if it was possible to have it with a Froyo based ROM (XWJSD)
Thank you for your answers!
P.S : Sorry if the same thread already exists, this forum is vast it is sometimes difficult to find what you're looking.

y dont u switch directly to MIUI rom?it's great believe me
agree with omarfaieq007
Would give it a try
You can switch to MIUI, but you can also try WidgetLocker, you can customize the locker theme, I used it when I had W7 launcher to have a custom lockscreen works just fine.
so the answer is no then?
I have 2.3.4 jvp and how miui now upload this rom but I have to Froyo 2.2.1 and then 1.6.2 MUI and then it burnt through miui in 2.2 updater's

you should try GingerXperia v21 or Stornmix latest(odex it) both are fast, Stable.
If you think Stornmix has Ugly fonts then look into apps and theme section for fonts.
Im a GDX user and think its the fastest and best ROM out there but if i would reccomend something else its Gingercruzt 8.5 or 8.4 depending on the bootloader stuff. It got a stock icon look and it is very very stable
Sent from my X8
you should try gingerxperia v21b because its fast or maybe gingercruzt 8.4..both rom have xperia looks thats what i like about those two roms...
this kind of thread again and again~~~
Atleast post it in the Q&A section
Sent from my XPERIA X8
gingercruzt had some framerate issues with my phone i love thjat rom but the framerate =( i think i will try gingerxperia ...oh and whats so gud about storm??
MiniCM7 for sure! Its the only rom that can handle heavily usage, while it's fastest too... No lalgs, no slowdowns after heavily usage.
oh ya...minicm i heard of it but the name of the rom sounds weird ...never dared to use it for some reason...i tot it meant for x10mini?
Hi to all,
I want to try a custom gingerbread ROM on my new OB. My current stock ROM is Froyo v10d.
Any recommendations?
Zeus v1 by Huexxx or Redy2006 or Novav11 or other mods?
Thanks.
U can try Zeus or redy's rom. These are more stable than cm as of now. Nova 11 is a kernal for cm7 not mod.

I'm proud of you, you don't come here and ask for a time...
Yess there are different custom ROMs like Zeus ROM by huexxx, which mainly is a rooted stock rom, with some tweaks applied. Then there is Redy's repack of rooted stock v20n and some deodexed (google it, but not important for a beginner) versions of rooted, stock GingerBreak (GB), then there is CM7 in different versions (some cherry picks and customizations), then we got Nova ROM, which is a HIGHLY tweaked and optimized Froyo based OS, and stock GB and Froyo ROMs.
You can find em all by using the search (upper corner on the right side), or by going here and scroll down (use mouse) sarcasm btw
Zeus: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1454274
Redy's repack: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1441901
Nova: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1161015
Choose WHATEVER U like best! Everyone will suggest something else, since he/she prefers something else (speed, stability, battery performance, ...) Just flash em, try em and if you dont like it, try another one, noone can tell ya, what YOU like best...
Hope I could help you, if so there is a thnx button down there
Thanks for your reply.
I prefer battery on a ROM. I will give GB ROMs a try because GB they say has battery enhancement features the froyo.

Update: I updated my OB to Zeus v1 and this rocks. Very good battery compared to froyo.
Thanks guys.
i'm using xanadu rom based on redy's rom and i'm very happy. No bugs, no FC, good battery usage. I'm using it because I was searching for an original not touched LG rom, with root, but without LG stuff. Is refined lite version from 2ยบ post.

I use Zeus V1 and its faster and clean (little lite) i recommend this one!!
I have installed custom ROM in my Xperia X8. Custom ROMs doesn't comes with Timescape app. I want to install Timescape also. Where can i find it !? The few download links of Timescape app over the internet has been removed due to piracy. Does anyone have the timescape app ? can u send me through private email or something !?

What ROM installed? A lot of good custom ROM come with Timescape. FDexperience 2.3, kuyadroid 4.4.253, Xgin 5.7, etc...
GingerXperia V10.
It doesnt comes with even those default google apps.

depends on you buddy,if ya like active 4corner launcher then go for it or arc launcher without 4 corner
now using gdx v22. Kuyadroid 4.5.4 also very nice.
List of ROMS are tried
Floyobread and froyopro are quite good , fast and stable. However it resembles the SE Stock Eclair. If you are looking for froyo , go for froyobread.
If you are looking for Gingerbread ,
GingerDx v21 is what I am using right now. It has a different interface , and a very stable ROM.
I prefer GingerDx over GingerXperia.
Do not go for Honeycomb/ICS
GDX, Linuxperia(i think it's for stock kernel)
