I have installed custom ROM in my Xperia X8. Custom ROMs doesn't comes with Timescape app. I want to install Timescape also. Where can i find it !? The few download links of Timescape app over the internet has been removed due to piracy. Does anyone have the timescape app ? can u send me through private email or something !?

What ROM installed? A lot of good custom ROM come with Timescape. FDexperience 2.3, kuyadroid 4.4.253, Xgin 5.7, etc...

It's possible but only with upgrading to custom ROM (xgin, racht's ROM's). No official 2.2/2.3 ROM for x8 from Sony Ericsson ;(

You can use xgin, racht's roms, kuyaDroid etc. They can be found in the development section.
there are some broken functions. Pls read the log in every ROM.
e.g
So far camera in all 2.3 ROM is just VGA.
If you want 3.2 mp camera, you have to go for 2.2 (like froyobread, floyo etc)
p.s. if you can find ROM with 3.2 mp camera, please let me know.
yes u can upgrade it..but not officially though..i recommended using kuyaDROID (android GingerBread 2.3)..but the only thing is the camera..only works with VGA quality..anything else works fine.. ^^

Why? It's smooth (like CM6 in menu scrolling, flinging, it's not choppy like other GB roms.)
And wait for v4 (it will use FreeXperia WiFi libs and GPS fixed)
Also if u are familiar with FroyoBread it will have all the special features included.

GingerDX v17 or GingerCruzt r7.4 actually are both good choice to upgrade X8 at 2.3.x, but FroyoBread 023b (with android 2.2.9) is another good Rom!

Ive just using GingerDX v21 (Doixanh is great) and LinuxDX is my Kernel.
I want to using the Stock Launcher which is included in Stock ROM 2.1 (I think its called: "SE Home" or somethins like this..)
And i want to have back the Timescape which is included in Stock 2.1 too.
This Timescape from DX which you can flash by using xrecovery.
How to get it Back? (Yes I know its sometimes laggy...)

i did not seen stock, 2.1 launcher for any custom rom, but i saw Active launcher is a liitle different then stock, but for me is better ohh i'm sure You saw that and You know how it looks. Timescape from 2.1 for any custom rom probably does not exist and any timescape in custom rom which i saw is that in GingerCruzt and it looks good try this rom maybe You like this..

I have already read the ROM guide in this section and in development section. I am little bit confused as I can not download all these ROM to try due to limited quota.
And I hope you will suggest me without trolling and spamming here. I want a ROM that can fill all my requirement.
My requirements are:-
1 Sony ericsson themed (either walkman or xperia)
2 Android 2.3.7
3 working SE backup&restore app
4 working timescape
5 walkman app
6 sony ericsson home
7 media widget, photo widget, weather widget,
8 either working on stock kernel or custom kernel and will be better if both.
9 great 2D and 3D performances
10 wifi hotspot (optional)
11 more free RAM 75+
12 Dual touch module (I have a cypress)
13 overclocking module
14 and many more whick should be in Xperia ROM.
I tried great GDX with "arc theme" but not working SE backup&restore, photo widget, timescape widget.
In nAa miniCM SE backup&restore not working and photo widget loading error.
Highly thankful to you if you will suggest that ROM. And how to overcome these errors in above mentioned roms ?
if you want xperia themed rom, try GingerCrutz 8.5, but it can run only on nAa kernel + it doesn't support wifi hotspot

yes u can try gingerxperia v21 too,or stornmix v2.2.0
i don't know which is better, i haven't tried GingerXperia, i have tried just GingerCruzt

i have x8 and want a rom which have all the stock apps of xperia like facebook inside xperia , timescape , sony widgets , playnow etc..i saw a rom from an awsome dev achotjan..!!!..i loved that rom but it reqires base band 2.1.71 can that be flashed in x8 so that i could have that rom...????
If u have older baseband update it by pcc and then u can flash the rom.

Hello, I installed GingerDX v19 on my phone. It was everything ok for a while but then I started to have issues with GoLauncherEx... it crashes and I have to terminate it. Also, its getting slow... is it cuz this ROM is not good for my phone?

No, it's because Go Launcher ex is heavy for our phone (that's what I think..)
You should know though that everyone's phone is different so I see all kinds of launchers preferred..
I'd suggest Launcher Pro since it's the only one that I have kept all this time, with minimum amount of problems.
I have GingerDX 19 as well.
Dude just use supercherger v6 ...afrer dat u will not get ny lags,waiting.or anything while going to ur home screen.....even u can enjoy multitasking !!!
Search the forum for supercharger v6....someone has given a visual.tutorial also on dis!!!
This will resolve all ur problem on lags ... Nd it is sureshort u will not face nd difficulties on doing anything in ur phone

I have GingerDX v22 Alfsv8ICS with Adreno Libs and Go Launcher Ex works wonderfully, even with "heavy" themes as MIUI for CM7. Try updating.

but i do not like the graphics of gingerdx , i know it is fast but dot like the theme
can u provied the link of best arc launcher with stock xperia icons for gingeredx???
I use third party themes (LunarUi, SEsify, Miui for CM7, UpwardSpiral's themes, GingerBlur...) and i dont get any lag at all, and combined with Go Launcher, GDX looks pretty much like Arc Rom, except Go Launcher doesnt lag. Arc Launcer does.
