Did you actually read the entirety of the OP?
It's CM7. It has the same problems and bugs as CM7, whatever they may happen to be in any given build.
Been running for half an hour and I have seen no bugs, but I've seen 2 things different.
When unlocking the screen, it doesn't fade into the homescreen, it just shows it. When turning off the screen, it doesn't fade off, it just shuts off. (This is with the screen animations disabled)
i installed it. works ok. no other bugs atm. ADW a little laggy but LP runs great.
More feedback tomorrow after 12 hours of testing

Done man! Flashed and using, it's just amazing so far. Same bugs as 6.5.8 it seems, no tap-to-focus etc. But DSP Manager is fixed. Running nice and smooth, everything seems okay.
Will report back tomorrow with more info on the ROM. Although, so far, I say flash

Yeah I read it. I understand actually CM7's bugs, I meant any fixes from mik's.
Nice job! Such a shame it's .32 though. Once you go .35 you never go back, or something like that.

.35 faster than .32, hope will update to .35
Another update, Wifi seems to work fine,
3D performance is just as fast when you flash fserve's kernel (58.8FPS sound on, using this rom, and using mik's rom, overclocked at 768mhz)
Please one for .35 kernel.

The accelerometer isn't as good as it could be, it works if you want to switch orientation, but it's not very 'accurate'.
It's hard to put into words, but try playing Doodle Jump or anything similar, its much harder to play now since there seems to be a 'dead zone' in the accelerometer, or something

Correction: CM6 is built on AOSP 2.2.
But generally, all ROMs are built off AOSP which is vanilla Android.

No data, I verified all APN settings and could not get data working. After that I just went back to a nandroid backup.

I dont want to sound discouraging, but why does CM7 and MIUI Gingerbread ROM dont have any rainbow? cant we use CM7 Kernel(Kang's version)
coz Kernel is reason to rainbow I think.

Its Based On Edts Rainbow Roms, No Bootloader... Thats Why Its Not The Kernel

1.It's because we don't have Gingerbread bootloaders.
2. CM7 kernels don't work
I'm confused why people are reposting the EDT ROM with basically nothing changed. Users can uninstall and install app themselves. Same goes for Kernels and Modems. None of the original bugs are solved really so I'm confused why this is the second such ROM out today.
I understand it's a great learning experience but from a user standpoint it does not contribute much. I would love when the dev uses the things he/she learned from this to make something.
PS: hayn_pryde46, this is not directed at you nor is this negative. I am very glad you decided to get into the dev game and hope you will become good at it. I'm just unsure your learning experience should be posted as a complete ROM.

ALL he did was download my rom, and re-upload it with some more apps and a different modem/kernel. NOTHING MORE.
Yeah sorry most 98% files are new from xwjvb I just used the rom as base deleted all the files but their init.d tweaks added new build.prop and modem and kernel got mtp sync to work and maybe debugging and original music player remember reboot problems with whitehawks rom, in which he changed it to miui apk

Literally just came to post the exact thing. It seems to be a trend lately, to the point that it's getting ridiculous. The bugs that exist are pretty big, so how about we either work on those, or sit back and wait for other, more advanced devs to fix them before we start "porting" and call it our work.
I assume you don't have the ability to fix the existing bugs, so that alone should stop you when you go to open a thread for a new ROM that you know you don't have the ability to improve yourself.
I mean, then what? Someone is going to work really hard and eventually fix something, you're going to copy/paste it and call it an update? Just relax on these "ports" for now, they're not needed at this stage of 2.3.3 for the Vibrant.
so you DIDN'T tweak it as it says in your post. You give me NO credit even though you downloaded my rom (which has at least some BIG differences to whitehawks) and just replaced the files that determine the build number added a different kernel/modem and pass it off as your COMPLETE own work. Mine at least fixes some bugs his old rom had (battery drainage, made 3D gaming less sucky). Like cmon dude.

Have set it up for nightlies, but they keep failing... Will need to look into it more.. I was told the test build I had had some errors in the source...
Once I get another build, I will post it out for you guys to test...

We're having a bit of difficulty with the kernel at the moment, but looking to resolve it. The device is on our nightly list, but fails every night cos of the kernel..

Well, I'm at my girlfriends place atm, but I managed to try the ROM quickly.
Seems like WIFI isn't connecting properly, FC on android.process.media in Settings, some kind of FC in app drawer aswell, also FC in Gplay!
I'll send you some logcats when I come home tomorrow!

Guys it is NIGHTLY ROMs, if you need stuff working you DONT NEED TO BE RUNNING THESE. Stuff may break, there are NO change logs, and its for testing. Bleeding edge.

I didnt have a huge lag problem in Cm10 but i have since flashed AOKP 4.2.2 ROM which is great.

I have been trying a lot of ROMs in the last weeks however - for me - I have found "danisariandi's" REVELATION HD ROM to be the fastest and most stable one!
I have been using the latest .500L which can still be downloaded in the thread, however, due to different problems which I didnt experience in the previous version RV.12.2.234N I would like to install this version. Unfortunately the developer has vanished due to different reasons. So my question:
Does ANYONE still have the REVELATION HD RV.12.2.234N ZIP!? Or/and can provide a download link!?

If this ROM is based on stock .140 then the newest vkernel (now n kernel) should work.

yes. however with other roms (e.g. xblaster and REVELATION 500L) i had trouble with 1.4.0 and went back to DOOM!

There was no USB-Mass Storage Option, I fixed this by implementing USB-Mass Storage through Titanium Backup which I had backuped from the latest Xblaster Release. It acturally worked.
Then there is no Loudspeaker during call - basic hands free option doesnt work! Thats a very basic feature for me. I had random reboots and FC with vKernel but with DOOM, so far, it seems fine!
Other than that it worked quite well, however i believe these problems mentioned above didnt exist with .234N.
Im still looking for the perfect ROM since CM unfortunately drains the battery and xblaster has many problems with e.g. handsfree call option and Hotspot function this is my last resort!

Hey thanks for the advice, however, in a short period of testing, I did not share your experience with this ROM. It was unstable and I had trouble with the design and basic functions. it has been 2 months since i have tested it, was there any progress made!?
I am now using revelation hd 234N with vKernel 1.4.0. Let's see...

Hey thanks for the advice, however, in a short period of testing, I did not share your experience with this ROM. It was unstable and I had trouble with the design and basic functions. it has been 2 months since i have tested it, was there any progress made!?

Edit yes, KitKat launcher and more. I thought you needed mainly reliability and this is the best one u unique.

320 megs for the Revelation is certainly small.
