Which Roms?

I think I have posted this in the right part but anyway I just wanted to know if any of you know which Roms are best for our lovey phone the xperia x8

Froyobread. Almost bugless IMO. Fast + Nice features.

Or GingerDX! It's bugless GingerBread ROM with the features of FroyoBread and 3MP camera! Also MiniCM7 is nice and for everyday use!

yeah i know that they all work hard to make the roms but i want to know which will run on our phone the best and which are the least buggyest!

there is not the best ROM
for each user is another ROM the best

I use MiniCM7 and I really apreciate it.
A lot of features as OC and Undervolt, a lot of possibilities. After a little configuration I also got a nice battery time, I'm really satisfied with it

I've tried FroyoBread and GingerDX. Both are smooth and fast.
I used the latest version of FroyoBread and v008 and v010 for GingerDX.
Try them.

ginger dx v011 i have used both froyobread and ginger dx. And in my opinion ginger dx wins in so many ways. I dont use gdx v012 because of doixanh removed map's and i use this app alot.
but they are both very good fast and smooth.
with doixanh you cant go wrong

[Q] Help selecting ROM

Which is the most stable customized ROM for my Xperia X8 , preferably of a later version than Froyo (V2.3 or later). Cyanogenmod 7.1 for Xperia X8 has troubles with connectivity (wifi/3G) and I therefore avoid it.

if you're looking for a GB rom, miniCM is probably the stablest, and definitely the least prone to battery drain.

I would go with GingerDX v021 plus the Alfs kernel v06 its a killing combination

Really, this is best combination.
Even If you are using stock kernel ..

do you want any rom on stock kernel or custom kernel?

fast smooth > gingerdxv21..
for heavy usage user > miniCM7 is the best..

For me the best is GingerDX v021 with alfs kernel v06

Where can I get a genuine version.
Some versions I downloaded gave an MD5 error.
Why this error ?

for me i prefer i prefer gingerxperia v21b with alfs kernel v5....alfs v6 lags on my phone,,i dont know why

if u want stability then go for froyopro v1.1 or v2.2
if u want features then go for gb rom ,i use stornmix v2.2

Use minicm6, It is very fast and bugless

If your using stock kernel then kuyadroid is a great rom. V4.4.253 is the newest and availible on page 106 of kuyadroid thread. If your using custom kernel then I can't help you yet, I'm still testing. Gingerxperia 21b with alfs v6 seems bugless after 3 days, 54% battery left without charge in airplane mode.

I would say you choose heroDroid. It's looks like the developer did not use any launcher (in my opinion). I've been using this since the day it was launched. I did not encountered any bugs that is why I used it as a daily ROM.

What would you recommend for everyday use?
My bootloader is still locked because I got very bad experience with that

which one have the best lookin , smoother and better performance for heavy games like Zenonia 4 , Deadspace .. etc.

well i tried minicm but gingerxperiaray is far too smoother and lighter than minicm and have cool transition animations and its a lill faster than minicm in gaming

Ray is better

Achotjan SEMC by far the smoothest ROM i ever tried. Just have a problem with every call when ended it disconnect from the wireless network for a second ;(

yeah i've been using ics for a week but lots of apps kept force closing and the screen have some glitches so i switched to a gb rom until the next ics update

I am using MiniCm7 2.2.0 right now, cuz with GingerDX my phones WiFi dont want to work. But yeahh MiniCm7 and GingerDX r both really good roms and i dont now any better roms. Have tested many roms but those two r best for me so far.

For me better than GDX is MiniCM7 2.2.0 and alfs8av5 by djnilse&alfsamsung

You could always try the ICS roms. Most of the kinks have been ironed out and MiniCM9 is quite smooth

On minicm9 camera work,recording video is laggy,panorama is laggy for this while,but wifi works.

You have to flash the nAa ics kernel first. Then wipe data and flash rom and gapps.

what's ur phone mate !? the wifi works on my phone since the 22 and on gdx we are on 26 !!

i can't use "[ROM] MiniCM9-3.0.2 [26/5/12]ICS 4.0.4/CM9 port for the Χ8"
since i don't know what's written on my white stickers so i can't know if can unlock my bootloader any other rom's guys ?

How about gingerxperia v25 rom?? I think so far so good..

I tried v26 with alfs kernel, I even tried factroy reset but didn't worked just shows error while turning on...
