Sanded back cover - Nexus S Accessories

So, I completely sanded my back cover so it's matte plastic. It doesn't look as bad as I would have imagined. Strangely it feels thinner, lighter and better built. Anyone else try this out?

Post some pics?

Pics or it didn't happen.

Seems like it needs a bit more work around the edges. A finer sand paper coupled with a wet sanding session could land you with a perfectly, scratchless matte look.

Here are a few pics of my case that arrived yesterday... http://www.rearthusa.com/
This case has a vinyl type feel... It's not too rubbery and not too stiff like hard plastic. I goes in easy in and out of your pocket and doesn't gather any lint. Stays on very snug and doesn't show any loose fit. The edges are very soft to fold back (picture) but if u look at the other edge it's on very well and doesn't fit loose. The buttons press with ease and are not as tough as the "S" case buttons.
This case is 16.99 with free shipping for a limited time.
Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. That's all.
The case looks great, what colour is that?
I've ordered a wine red one a few days ago for my i9023.
I overlooked the fact that it wont fit 100% right. So long as the battery cover, sides and corners are protected I am happy.

Best way to hide/repair a scratch

I somehow managed to scratch the top of my G Watch R. What have people found to be the best way to hide or repair a scratch?

I had the same problem. The bezel on my watch was all scratched up do I sanded the watch down. Now I have a stainless steel GWR.
i just got a black full body protector from slickwraps. works great. black one blends in fine
My suggestion to those people out there who don't mind putting in a bit more effort for a good result - 1000 grit sandpaper, and a 4 step nail buffer (skip the first 2 steps, go for 3 and 4). good flat surface for you to buff your hearts out!

StickerBoy wrap

Hey guys. Just wanted to show you all what I decided to do here. I have the Samsung Clear View case in silver/grey for my White Note 5. I really like it, but the case being a shiny plastic scratches up like a mother just by looking at it wrong. Especially on the back. So I decided, why not get a skin for it? I have used stickerboy in the past, and they are having a Labor Day 25% off deal right now so I ordered a "leather" skin in pewter color. I did have to make the cutout myself around the camera hole. Turned out pretty good, but not perfect. Otherwise I really like it and I don't have to worry about it scratching on the back at all any more. Plus it adds grip which is great.

I've tried one similar (if not that actual one). It was pretty awful. Felt like plastic, scratched immediately just wiping it after application.
Transparent ones will lift at the edges if they go all the way out and it'll look awful, just fyi
had the same, waste of money, looks awful, feels like compressed plastic bag. payed two months ago 9€.
at the edges you will become small breaks in it and it looks like your phone screen is broken at the edges.
if you want a gadget that makes your 450$ phone look like trash you should buy it.

Cracked screen- does otterbox help or hurt

Never cracked a phone, and I buy and sell them all year long. Dropped this from 30inches and then...crack.
To be fair, I was using imitation otterbox. Does anyone feel like these cases actually provide more weight to add to the fall?

By the looks of the crack, the case had nothing to do with it, the screen most surely crashed with a rock, against a corner, etc, something that concentrated the blunt of the impact, bad luck, that's it. Sorry man…

Yeah. It looks like that it did hit a rock or a protruding object.
