[Q] Problem with starting Galaxy S

Hey
I'm sorry. My English is not good. I have a little problem when I want on my galaxy s. When i push Power Button on the lcd i see battery icon. It's same that when the phone is off and i plug the charger.
Please help

I can't understand. What you. Are trying to say as their is no button on lcd!

Remove the battery and wait for 30 seconds. Then put it back on and start it again. If u have an micro sd mem card remove it as well before starting. Let me know how its coming.
If thats not working try to enter the recovery mod by pressing HOME+VOL UP+POWER BUTTONS then select "reboot system" with your home key.

[Q] Restart Samsung Note (How To)

How do we restart samsung note? Like in HTC sensation x series we simply press power button n select restart, however nothing as such is available in samsung note when power button is pressed

Well I don't have a Note yet, but on my original Galaxy S, I go into terminal emulator and just type reboot. Takes a few seconds, but then i don't have to turn it completely off and turn it back on again.

Hold in power button until the phone restarts. Took me awhile to figure it out.

Press volume+ and power only------2 buttons, then release the butons after 3 second when you see Samsung logo.

Power off the phone then press and hold home+power buttons...

hold pressed home button + power button until there will be the recovery menu...then u can release the buttons

Re map power button

My phone has been water damaged and the power button no longer works,I searched the forums and found a thread regarding remapping volume button to work as power button but this was for the captivate, will this be the same for sgs2, does anyone have a link to explain how to do it, my phone is stock and not rooted, thanks in advance

C can't see how button remapping will help, you will still be short of a button?

The problem is everytime my phone runs out of battery the only way to get it back on is to remove and replace the battery, this sometimes takes ages too re boot the phone, so I want to replace one of my hard keys for a power button i.e. the up volume on the rocker button, in a different thread it explained how to do it on the Samsung captivate, by re mapping the buttons
