How come battery life seems a lot better when i use Alpha 19 - MoDaCo Custom ROM with HTC Sense (Desire ROM)
But not as good with CyanogenMod-5 for Nexus One (STABLE) [03/23/2010 / 5.0.5.3] ?
MoDaCo probably made enhancements in alpha 19 that improved battery life, but as I understand it the Rosie framework is pretty bulky (compare the ROM sizes between MoDaCo and Cyanogen) and probably has more going on in the background than the Cyanogen ROMs.
Any bugless beast FRG83DVO6 yet for Hero or compatible close to it?
Y halo thar
I have only use ICSSGS rom and i have few question
Why´s the screen sooo dim, isnt so vivid like stock, maybe due to its a port from nexus and dont suport AMOLED?
why´s the battery drains feaster than stock GB, it may be the same due to the samsung drivers isnt it?
Guys i am currently using teamsgs ics 3.1, but cause of new roms available i want to flash on a better one, which provides better stability, performance and battery life, which of the Roms is preferable, 4.0.4 Dark Knight 3 or Android Open Kang Project (AOKP) Milestone 4.
P.S. not looking for high customizability.Plz recommend
Dark knight. Very stable also.
But for customization aokp is preferable.

I think aokp is more stable
I've had Team ICSSGS's RC4.2 (with stock kernel) for some time now and so far it has proven to be very stable. No annoying crashes whatsoever or duplicate files, and all the features seem to be working (e.g. camera with 720p recording, Google Play store as well as other Google apps..). Perfect for everyday use.
I think it's CM9 b17
i'm on slim ics - i prefere slim roms... fast, stable so far

I have tried team Hacksung's and AOKP. AOKP is better. Both give me force close on dialer
I suggest "Team ICSSGS's RC4.2" for battery life

akisa33 I suggest "Team ICSSGS's RC4.2" for battery life
+1
Currently running "Team ICSSGS's RC4.2" with Semaphore kernel 0.9.1 extreamly stable with no FC
Personally I would go for AOKP m4 with Devils Kernel, no battery drain, only had one FC (can't remember on what) been using AOKP since 27v1 (I know that isn't long, but has been intensive use).
Use NSTools to turn on Deep Idle, scheduler to 'vr' and governor to 'lulzactive'.
Personal preference but it makes it very smooth and very drain free
DarkKnight v3
ICSSGS 4.2
Have ~120 user apps installed, rarely some FC-s, but I can live with it.
Sometimes laggy or if I have an incoming call, sometimes it just shows the number, but not the name..so there are problems, but still usable.
For me the best and maybe one of the best I've tasted the [4.0.4] [ROM] AOSP NEXUS S/4g . The battery is excellent and my phone is fast.
Darknight v3
any one know solution to fix gameloft issues?
Can anyone make circular battery for JB tx?
