[Q] Google goggles fix for froyo roms? - XPERIA X8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Currently I'm using FroyoPro 2.2, it is almost perfect but I have some problems with Google Goggles. I think it is connected with all froyo roms because on Gingerbread it works fine. It is possible to fix it on froyo roms? I don't want to use 2.3 because they are too slow for me.

[Q] is there any way to flash stock Gingerbread?

hi
i saw some devices that running Vanilla android roms (some chine's phones)
why there is no way to install the stock vanilla Gingerbread like in
the Nexus phones?
because there untill now there was no source code. though the componants are the same as the nexus s there are diffences that make it very difficult to port. the effort for an aosp rom has been mostly focused on cyanogen mod 7. it may be posible to get a stock nexus rom to install over a kernel cyanogen mod.
if you want sonething similar to stock nexus 2.3.3 the best route is to install cyanogenmod 7 and the stock gingerbread launcher. then you have everything the nexus has plus some enhancments and all open source
U can also try continuum v5 rc3.

continuum is nothing like the nexus s. it is a touchwiz ROM. if you want the stock android gingerbread feel, cyanogenmod 7 is the closest you'll get right now.

Just use Odin and flash a froyo rom first because you need the bootloaders

Just wondering why are you missing froyo! Gingerbread has way better results. btw Darky's 9.5 is a good one.

CM9 music player on gingerbread?

Hi, is there any way to get the CM9 music player running on gingerbread? Especially on miui? I tried pulling it from Ultimate ICS rom, but on my phone it just FCs. Is there any way?
if there is I'd like to know too. Best advice is just to wait for the official CM9 ROM to be finished and flash it

[Q] Spotify ICS/JB

No matter what I do I can't get Spotify mobile app to work. I've had to use the GB version of the app, which I never minded until they added the radio feature. I've tried it on ICS roms and JB roms, both to no avail. I was wondering if anybody had similar issues or even a fix to allow the new ICS-friendly versions of Spotify to work correctly on a Cappy. If so, what steps do I need to take to make me smile again?

Has it worked for you on ICS as well? If so, which ROM?

why CM9? use the latest ROMs, they're much more reliable and perform better. (CM10.2, CM11)
