Good app on Marketplace for pictures is PhotoSafe by Bimbli Studios

Hopefully useful to some, I made a small and simple application just for viewing those AR cards the new Nintendo 3DS comes with.
There is one for Android, so I thought there should be one for WP7 as well.
includes all six cards
lock screen disabled while viewing a card

Just note that because of copyright reasons, I won't upload this application to the official marketplace.

Hello folks,
I'm interested in buying a galaxy tab 7" with 3G for my wife, to replace her kindle 3. She fell in love with it in a store, after seeing the ebook app, in which you can bookmark and highlight text.
Question is: Is there an app that does the same for PDFs?
BTW, is there any way to send video to another screen? I know there is no HDMI output, but maybe there there is another way to do it...
i recommend u to read this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=815981

1- got to Android store , there are some great PDF tools that will allow that an more
2- Yes, several wired (via HDMI) and wireless...Search the forum, BTW I love the ebook app but sadly in my case is slow to load and highlight etc... does not respond that well, not a biggie since ATM i use moon reader that have lost of customizations and likes Calibre in the desktop also there are many more in the market, as ebook, PDF, comic reader.... the tab is great
For pdf, Repligo is the best...its paid but lets you make notes, underlines, editing...

EasyPDF is another option for PDF annotation.

... also BeamReader - at least I like it. Fast enough, text view mode, free trial.
You can send your entire screen to another video device. As a teacher I send my screen and audio to my lcd projector and soundsystem using an rca cable I got from ebay for $24. The hdmi through the dock only outputs some things like movies.
There are several vnc apps in the market to set up a screen share.

Where did you buy it?
Weird question: I want to hide certain adult films downloaded to my phone from my wife (and kids should they pick up my phone) but so far no matter where I save the files, my gallery detects it and displays it. Any suggestions (other than not keeping porn on my my phone)?

Certain apps like Quickpic have hide/unhide functions (with passwords) to put a nomedia tag in the folder of your private media so it is not seen by other apps. Or you can just go and search for an app that hides files like Keep Safe. it just adds an extra extension of their own so you cannot see or read them unless you are viewing the media in their app.
put a file in the folder named .NOMEDIA. make sure there is no file extension at the end like .txt, .rtm, etc.
You can make the file with any text editor.
I also attached a copy of that file, just extract it from the attached rar.

What's so sad about Adult Films?
my personal method is to keep private content on a micro sd,, when there is a risk of it being seen by wrong people I merely pocket the micro sd and don't have to worry about it

I use vaulty to hide pics, this app hides pics, video and txts. Nothing wrong with hiding vids from the wife and kids. Never know who will be going through your phone, always better to be safe than sorry. People often look at my pictures of my kids so I try to keep the inappropriate ones out of sight.

When you say texts, do you mean text messages or text files. Because I can't remember my kids social security numbers but don't want them to be accessible to any thief who might steal my phone. Will this app work for that?

Does anyone know where we can download 3d images? I did a search on the web but it seems everyone is just trying to sell their software and not the images themselves.
you can get the images, but it's expensive. i'd just wait for the Oculus Store to pump out the media because i think Samsung bought licenses from 360cities.

We should see plenty of stuff when project beyond is released. with 360 3D videos and photos.
I was looking for them too and simple google search for "spherical photo" brings plenty images and most of them works great with gear vr. Some of them are more like 360 panoramas and they look stretched because oculus software " stitching " top and bottom of the picture.

You can do some very decent ones with your Galaxy note! I got some pretty good results but I need to try with a stand

Hello Everyone
I have got my S7 Edge and my free Gear VR
I would like to watch my own video and movies on it which I believe I should be able to do.
For the life of me I cannot get it to work.
My S7 edge has a 200gb memory card in it so how on earth do I get it to work ..... its driving me nuts
I have followed guides online but still it wont see any of my videos.
The Gear VR even says " to watch your own videos just copy them to your phone " ..... AAAAGGGHHHH !!!! I am but it wont see them never mind play them.
Maybe that's why they gave them away for free with the pre-order of the phone.
I feel like an idiot because I'm normally quite good at this type of thing but I have been trying for days now and it has me beat !!
Thank You for any help

Don't think it deserves a new topic, so here i go:
My own videos (which i can watch normally with oculus video) are not shown in any of the "theatre" mode, like home cinema, cinema, ant, moon, whatever. All i can see is my video like it was watch just in VOID mode. Any way to see it in other modes as well?
Download VR Gallery from vr store and watch all ur gallery

The best and easiest way: First of copy your movies in folder name "Movies" wherever you like, either SD card or internal memory. You can also creat folders there i.e. 3D, 360 Videos, My videos etc. Then connect your mobile to VR and download app "Oculus Video". Open it then look at the bottom left "MY VIDEOS". You will find all your stuff there. Goodluck
