permanent rebooting - XPERIA X8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all,
after i ran cyagon mod for a while now i wanted to try the newest version of the normal sony software. Installation worked fine via pc-compagnon but now my x8 is stuck in an permanent reboot status. it is always booting until the ericcson logo and then restarting again. The only thing which seems to work is to take out the battery and press the return button while putting it in again to get into flash-mode for like 5 seconds. when it disconnects again.
what can i do?

i haven't done anything to my phone since I received it, I didn't root it or anything so i assume it's locked!
ok so my phone is working now I tried everything all night long seriously nothing worked. Then I just gave up and went to sleep. I tried to repair it again in the morning after charging the phone all night long, and suddenly the repair was successful and my phone booted up Seems like the first update error drained all my battery power and it wasn't able to perform repair for that reason! But it's working now I'm on Lollipop and everything's working fine

[Q] Sony Xperia SP C5303 boot loop !! Please Help :'(

I feel like this is going to be a long thread but I'll make it short as much as possible with as much details
I have a SONY Xperia SP C5303 stuck in a boot loop, it was given to me by a friend.
The phone was on stock firmware, android 4.3, unrooted, bootloader locked.
As he was using the phone while charging, he activated WiFi, after a while he activated Bluetooth (WiFi and Bluetooth at the same time) and then it just turned off, rebooted and stuck in the "SONY logo => Xperia logo=> Orange logo" boot loop and then it just fades away and blacks out and reboots.
After many attempts, he wasn't able to fix it and he gave it to me .
Now the first thing I did was flashing it using FlashTool with the firmware "C5303_12.1.A.1.207_AU" but still stuck on boot loop, the only thing that happened is that the Orange logo changed into the colorful waves animation.
I flashed it a couple of times more, the same method, but still, the same results.
Next thing I did, I updated it using SONY PC Companion, after the update finished, it was still in boot loop (ALTHOUGH, the lock screen DID appear but I was not able to do anything, and the screen faded away again)
So, I sent it to a repairer, here's what he have done :
_ He did something (?) and gave it back to me with 0 charge, so I charged it at home and when I turned it on, still boot loop, so I returned it to him.
_ This time, it ACTUALLY worked ! The phone came back to life, everything was working just fine, until I activated WiFi and I noticed that it's not working, then I activated Bluetooth as well (AT THE SAME TIME, remember what I said at first ?) then the screen just faded away and back to boot loop, I sent it back to the repairer and told him that he hasn't changed anything and that the real issue is that WiFi and Bluetooth do not work/cause boot loop when working at the same time
_ He revived the phone once again but the WiFi/Bluetooth issue was not fixed and he told me that there's nothing he can do anymore, and he refunded me.
I can't complain though cause all I wanted was the phone working !! I didn't care less about WiFi nor Bluetooth.
This morning, as I wanted to root the device, I tried the DoomLord Easy Rooting Toolkit, after flashing the first kernel using FlashTool (Yes, I followed the steps VERY carefully) and after the flash of the kernel finished, the phone is once again in boot loop, this time boot looping on the SONY logo only
So the conclusion is that the phone can actually be revived. How ? That's what I'd kill to know !! (Jk)
I tried flashing again the "C5303_12.1.A.1.207_AU" (4.3) but nothing, then I tried the previous firmware (4.1) but still nothing.
Sometimes, after the flashing, when the phone boots for the first time, the lock screen appears but fades away again (unable to touch anything)
SO PLEAAAAAAASE !! If there's anything I can do, please tell me, all I want is for the phone to work, hell to the data or anything else, also don't mind the warranty at all. And I'm not from the US, so there are no SONY service points here
There's a video in the rar file attached down there, it shows how the boot loop happens.

I assume you've got no recovery installed? flash the william's kernel elf in flashtool. This will give you a kernel which has recovery so what you have to do is download and flash Omni-X, Nexus Prime's omni (my personal favorite) or Paranoid Android. These are all LBL Roms so you don't have to worry about anything at all. Also flash the Super Su binary. I'll provide the links to all these if you want.
Indeed, no recovery installed and PLEASE DO GIVE ME THE LINKS !! I'll try again and again until it's fixed, although I highly doubt that it will.
If all fails, I will just send it to the repairer once again to bring it back to life once again

I know he can't flash the kernel since he's on a locked bootloader. But if he flashes the rom as soon as booting into the recovery, then he will be using the stock .207 kernel and the Rom will boot

Xperia Z stuck in bootloop

Hi guys my Xperia Z doesn't start anymore, it's stuck in a bootloop. Before this happend it suddenly turned of, even with full battery. But I was able to boot it, it just turned of when I started an app. But now it's completely ****ed. Is it the battery? When I get a new battery do you reckon it will be ok again? I have a lot of pics on it and no backup -.-
It also doesn't work when it's plugged in, and power + vol up button doesn't make a difference. It only comes to the Sony Xperia boot logo, turns off and tries to start again, I can't even turn it completely off...
Any recommendations?
Ah yeah and it's all original with the newest software on it.
I had that same problem, and tried to reflash my stock rom using flashtool. The flash went fine, but it didn't solve anything, my phone was still rebooting again and again. Tried to reflash again then the flash failed, I don't know why...
Had the same issue but entering flash mode and flashing the rom with flashtool worked

New here and am stuck in bootloop...

So hello everybody, i've been scratching me head at this for a while now.
I have a sony xperia z whose micro-usb to usb port is broken and therefore my pc cannot recognize it.
Now, I am not sure if you've seen the phone but it comes with a secondary charger port kind of thing where it can charge through a dock, and thats what im using.
So i decided to root the phone using kingroot. I was following a guide that showed how to root any xperia device using kingroot and then replacing kingroot with superuser: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1/general/root-xperia-running-lollipop-lb-ubl-t3123893
While updating the binaries it said installation failed and i tried looking at other guides. I stumbled upon this thread: https://androidmtk.com/replace-kinguser-with-supersu and followed it even after seeing the disclaimer thinking it would be alright. My dumbass thought everything would be fine and it was until it asked to reboot....
now i'm in a bootloop, with no way to connect it to my comp, and recovery mode not working for some reason (unless im doing it wrong, i dont know).
I believe the loop is a soft-brick (is that the term?) and it turns on shows the sony logo then says "powered by android" goes into the loading screen the stops, shuts off and repeats. I am on lollipop and desperately need help. I have a few school assignments due but can't get my mind off this lol.
ty for helping
Can you boot into recovery? Do you even have a recovery installed?
Flash new firmware use flashtool.. Now xperia z have MM rom..oh yeah
Sent from my C6603 using XDA-Developers mobile app
press and hold power and volume down for 10-12 secs till the phone vibrate 3 times. It will be switched off now.Flash a kernel with recovery included only if you have unlocked bootloader else use flashtool to flash stock firmware.
