I'm coming from a 4s and don't have lte on my plan. Do I have to get a new sim to access it? I ask because I can't connect to the pta apn I had to put in the wap.cingular apn in he settings.

Yes, you do need a new SIM; at least I did. I was using an old AT&T 3G SIM from back in the day, and they threw in the new one for free and claimed that I needed it. I wasn't complaining.
There is no LTE-specific data plan. If you're on a data plan now, you'll get LTE. They have yet to introduce that sort of pricing, but I fear that they will. Hence why I jumped for an LTE phone now, even though I don't live in a LTE-heavy market.

I bought my Vivid on launch, and they said that my phone would work on LTE and that I'd be grandfathered in on my current plan which would still support LTE. I'll fight them for it if otherwise, if they want to ramp up my charges.

there are actually 4 things you need to use LTE, first the SIM, it has to have the digits 25 in the 9th and 10th spot, second, you need an LTE device, 3rd, you need a LTE data plan, as you need the pta, APN to access the PGW, and 4th, be in an LTE area. however, even if you are not in LTE, you still need the data plan as you connect with PTA to the PGW, not the GGSN.
i'm using a iPhone SIM in an adaptor, as long as it has the digits 25 in the 9 and 10th spot, your good.

That is correct, you will need the above noted items, I came from an Inspire (4G Device but was still told I had to have a newer LTE sim) and the LTE provisioning looks identical but has "LTE" as part of the plan name, two things to make note of,
1. if you don't have the PTE provisioning your data will not work, but you can add a new APN to connect to the non lte 2/3/4g data networks.
2. if you have the provisioning done anytime other than your billing cycle day one you may get some prorated fees.
**I also find the non LTE apn useful if your market area is not LTE yet, the phone will auto default to legacy 4G (Technically 3.5G) but you can save a bit of battery buy not having the radio even looking for it
I just wanted to throw that out there so people would be aware.
Cheers

Did not know I would have to have the put me on an LTE plan. Actually that doesn't make any sense to me at all - same prices, etc. - but whatever. I guess I'll be contacting them soon, after my LTE SIM comes in!

It's likely more like resource management, when they roll out LTE in an area the users provisioned for LTE will have that as their preferred network and help reduce the number of users on the oversubscribed existing 2/3/4G networks since there are usually multiple wireless data networks in a given area. That's one reason Carriers need additional woreless spectrum to implement new technologies/networks.

Good point. It'll probably be awhile before LTE is in our area - it took forever to get 3G here - but I see your point. I'll have them switch me to the LTE plan when I get my SIM and have to contact them anyway.
Huh, turns out that I've been provisioned for LTE all along; my agent must have just done it for me silently. You guys got me all worried!
When I thought you said LTE data plan, I thought you meant like a "Pay extra for LTE" plan, and I was WTFing at the thought, because I knew I wasn't paying more.

I can only comment on what AT&T seems to do, They should automatically provision you when one of the current LTE phones is purchased. Im my case it did not take at first and I had problems with data, I looked at my account online and noticed that it did not have the LTE provisioning, got that and all was well.

I actually went today and had to get a new sim provisioned for lte. I can now connect using the PTA apn. They also switched me on the unlimited lte plan. I have 10238976mb available to use on my unlimited plan now. I'm guessing I won't go over that amount.

LTE APN vs Older APN
gey gys just wanted to share my data results. when connected to the new PTA APN it seems crippled (3mbps) however when reverting back to the older APN settings (3.5g) I am getting 10+mbps... ODD
Some people are having issues with the PTA apn and have had to revert.

Seems a bit slow for LTE; you're talking about HSPA+, right? LTE should have a far higher upload.
Which APN are you using, phone or pta?

I am thinking to move my cell phone carrier from Verizon to AT&T since I got Galaxy Note. I am thinking to get 450 minute voice plan + unlimited messaging + unlimited data. I am a noob about those things, so I searched for it almost a week.
Here is my understanding.
1. IMEI number is ID of cell phone. Every cell phone has its unique IMEI number.
2. Carrier (AT&T) only has database of IMEI numbers of their cell phones which they sell.
3. Applier only need IMEI number when open an account at the AT&T.
4. AT&T cannot detect IMEI number when people use AT&T network.
5. AT&T can detect the speed that people use.
6. The Galaxy Note will work on AT&T HSDPA 850/1900 bands.
Here is what I am planning to do.
1. Buy an unlock dumb phone from ebay which supports HSDPA 850/1900 (ex. Samsung A927 Flight II).
2. Get a 450 minute voice plan, unlimited messaging, and unlimited data for non-Smartphones plan with ebay phone (ex. Samsung A927 Flight II).
3. After the ebay phone is activated, pop SIM card in Galaxy Note.
4. Configure APN on Galaxy Note.
Do you guys think it works? Or any other recommendation?
Pls let me know. Thank you!!
I'm on ATT
They no longer offer the unlimited data plan.
But otherwise your plan would work
I have unlimited ATT only because i'm a legacy user. And i have a dumbphone unlimited data plan which i use with the gNote on ATT
They will sweep the smartphones on dumphone plan once in a while. But there's a way around it.
Search ebay for ppl selling sim cards with unlimited data plans on ATT (not sure if such things even exist for sale)

Thank you. I know that they don't have unlimited data plan for smartphone anymore. what I am trying to do is using non-smart phone data plan for Galaxy note. It is the only way I can get unlimited data plan if I can spoof ATT.
The only unlimited att sim you can get is getting unlimited gophone. Which doesnt require a contract. 60$ / month all unlimited. Lots of ppl are using it.
Again, no unlimited data plans on a contrac from att. Only prepaid gophone sim cards

how's the speed on att prepaid plan? I cant find it on their site. I think for T-mobile, they cap your speed down to edge after the first 200 or 250mb usage of 4G.
I am getting out of a contract with att soon, and planning to switch to a gophone plan. Can I carry my old number over?

I was told this would work using their GoPhone plans, and as mentioned some people here are using it. However, I was also told that "unlimited" isn't really "unlimited" in this case, that there's an expectation of how much data a non-smartphone would use on this plan (since it's designed for non-smartphones). Basically, it'll work as long as you don't get too carried away on the data side, in which case "unlimted" will become "capped" or "cutoff."
I was on the verge of terminating my att contract and find something better.
Sprint is the only true unlimited provider that offers 4g lte service and cheaper than verizon.
Att gophone is a good option too. Not for a family plan (which i'm interested in)
Staying with att for now with a dumbphone unlimited plan using gNote until my contract expires and will probablyove to sprint.
Tmobile will throttle you down if you have hivh usage.
I use about 12-15gb a month so tmob is not an option.

What I checked ATT.com, unlimited GoPhone plan is $50.
I think this one can be another option (Nation 450 w/Rollover® Minutes $39.99 + Messaging & Data Unlimited for Non-Smartphones $30.00).
Someone said coverage is different goPhone and other plans.

I believe the only difference in coverage is due to the different APNs they use. Don't take my word for that though.

Is this true? I didn't think it was, and required you to spoof your IMEI in your modem firmware or via a TurboSIM or something similar. Where's your source for this?

I think it's wrong. Though they may not see the whole IMEI, they see enough to detect your phone model, which is enough for them to decide dumbphone/smartphone.
When i log into my ATT profile, i can see the handset i'm using on top of the page which is determined by IMEI ( i think)

No need to call ATT
Just insert the SIM card and set your APN.
The only APN that works for me is the wap.cingular.
Though i've seen ppl using the "pta" and "phone" apns, i was never able to access with those.

Change the APN, wait a few seconds, if nothing shows up, change the APN. No need to reboot.
You can save multiple APNs.
At some point i saved 2 APNs and switched until i found out that wap.cingular was the only one that offered connection.

Thank you so much. You are the life saver. If I buy the SIM from ebay, can I transfer my number from Verizon?
Hmm, that's a tough one. I'm pretty sure it only applies when switching carriers on a contract. You can't have 2 devices on different carriers and use the same number. You may need to cancel your contract with verizon. I'd call ATT or Verizon to confirm that. (sorry if this sounds dumb)
======================================
Who should consumers contact if they want to port their number to a new carrier?
Consumers should contact their prospective new carrier, who will start the porting process. The new carrier will first confirm the consumer's identity and then make a porting request of the old carrier. When consumers go to their new carrier to port a number, they should bring along a recent bill, which will have their correct name and address as it appears in the carrier’s database. This should aid in making the porting process go smoothly. Once a valid porting request has been made, the old carrier cannot refuse to port a number.

I have a few things I am wondering after hearing this news and realizing that they offer completely unlimited voice/text/4G for $60, while Tmo costs $70 for the same thing.
1. are they on Tmo's network yet?
2. is the '4g' service they refer to actually LTE, or is it hspa like Tmo?
3. what data speeds will I be able to connect to with my N4?
4. does metroPCS use band 4 for LTE? if so, is there a list of cities with LTE coverage available?

1. I believe for this service they will be using tmobiles hspa+ network since they currently support CDMA.
2.4g is hspa+, I'm not sure about the lte.
3.standard T-Mobile speeds for hspa+ because they are more than likely using t-mobiles network.
4. It could be that they are using t-mobiles lte network along with the hspa network.
Also its only available in Boston, las Vegas,Dallas and hartford. They said they will add more cities in the future.

It's nice that MetroPCS is finally doing a bring your own phone thing instead of making you buy a phone as they used to do but it's still T-Mobile service which sucks here. And those cities listed are where T-Mobile already has LTE service up and running so they might be limiting this to where T-Mobile plans to bring in LTE. I also looked at the plans and while they are unlimited they are capped. For $40 a month you only get 500 MB of 4G(LTE) data but I can't find what speed it drops to after that, is it HSPA+, 3G, 2G who knows.
This is a great idea for metro......I get really bad tmo service in my house might make the switch if the prices are on par.....

Not true. Metro PCS has spectrum holdings of their own that will be refarmed once they move their customers to T-Mobile's network.

What? T-Mobile bought MetroPCS purely for their spectrum. Granted it will take several years before most of it is usable by T-Mobile users.

MetroPCS has limited spectrum, but their LTE is compatible with T-Mobile, 1900 MHz AWS but its very limited as to its coverage. Only in a couple, maybe 6, states and mostly large metro areas. They have like 13 MHz of spectrum in New York, Boston, Dallas, Miami, Detroit, LA and San Francisco which is still mostly CDMA right now. T-Mobile will be expanding in those areas but not elsewhere once they shut down the CDMA network. And for nationwide coverage MetroPCS was using Sprint's network which is who they have roaming agreements with.
One of T-Mobiles biggest problems of late was that it was bleeding subscribers which results in lost revenue which in turn lowers the stock price. Now all of sudden they've added 9 million new subscribers which in the short term will increase the company's revenue and thus its stock price. The limited amount of spectrum it gained will help it compete for subscribers in the large markets I listed above hopefully turning the trend around.
But if someone say from Chicago, or St. Louis asks how does this merger affect me the answer is it doesn't. MetroPCS has no spectrum there, or in about 95% of the country, so nothing changes.
I disagree that this merger will prevent T-Mobile from buying more companies for spectrum. Given their small size compared to Verizon and att, T-Mobile should have no problem clearing anti trust hurdles with the government. They also seem to be now an american company with a majority stake owned by the German parent. I may be wrong but I think before it was just a whole German subsidiary of Deutsche telecom. What I'm sad about is that they didn't merge or buy the wireless spectrum of dish network when that merger was a rumor. Perhaps the cost is too high. They have been bleeding customers for years now but have always been a profitable company. They got enough spectrum and money from the failed att buyout agreement and this metro PCs buyout to roll out a great lte network but I don't understand why people don't realize how good their hspa service is. Att is very slow and clogged and Verizon rarely gets better on lte with their congested network. Never mind the 50+ dollar difference in price per month. I just don't understand why T-Mobile can't make more traction. Maybe with the top tier phones they have been getting as of late and the iPhone will ultimately help their bottom line. I really want to see them expand as long as they don't raise prices too much.
Hopefully their next move will be to buy up spectrum or towers in areas with no coverage previously. I would be more than happy to get plain old 3g service in the more rural areas that are stuck on edge like New York (upstate) and other spots in the north east.

I still can't believe I'm only paying $30 a month for my plan with 5gb data! People are blown away when I tell them that. Even though it only includes 100 minutes, 10cents a minute after that is still a pretty good deal, unless you use like 2000 minutes a month usually. After the month's up I usually average about $45 between the base price and extra minutes. This month I topped up early because I killed my 5gb in about a week lol. Even after it cost me $60 this month, I still saved $30 over what I would have spent if I had stayed with sprint.
considering the cities cited metro will be on its own network(the northeast was recently built out new about 4 yrs ago). Hartford, New Haven and Springfield network was built by pocket wireless before they were absorbed by metro... I'm pretty certain the network in New England is capable of delivering 4g lte

Metro is going to be gone by the end of next year...i just came away from them to come on to T-Mo...their network sucks ass..and so does their customer service...
I will stick with T-mo instead of going back to MetroPOS

I agree with you about the HSPA+ speeds. I'm in an HSPA+21 area and my highest “down" was 13 Mbps gotta love Build Prop tweaks! I work with a couple of people who have Metro PCS and none of them recommend it. Their “3g" is terrible and even their LTE is under par. America has become so brainwashed with 4GLTE being the best thing since sliced bread, that they're not reading into or even trying out T-Mobile.

i must say it worked as these things normally do. They threw the word LTE out there a send most of America has bought into it.. So you are telling me you are doing that much more if you connect at 21mbps than 13-20mbps because that usually my speeds on HSPA+ network. Really LTE draining more battery but ok so you downloaded that app on the Play Store 6 seconds faster than me....
As long as I can stream with my Plex, Slingbox, Youtube videos and anything else I need without a hiccup I could care less if its 13 or 31.... Just my opinion

LTE can handle a much bigger load of users and the latency is much smaller. All major carriers are moving to it as fast as possible because it is just a much more efficient network. It has nothing to do with individual speeds of users.

Then you are not what's considered a 'power user' so you may not benefit from LTE. Others, like myself, prefer to not pay additional money to a landline internet provider if we have the capability of getting decent speeds and coverage from a wireless host. I, personally, would rather just pay my mobile provider for an unlimited data plan and just turn on the wifi hotspot on my phone for all my devices to use. This can only work with a good fast connection, though. As small as they can be, have you ever tried downloading a rom zip on 3g? Or 2g? It can take well over an hour if you don't have a decent connection. And rom updates are one of the many things users in this community consider a commodity. If I can't get HSPA coverage I won't even bother trying to download a rom, because I know it's going to time out eventually. And yes, I would definitely prefer to have LTE even when downloading a rom. I'd much rather it take me a minute to download it than 4 minutes....I know it must sound crazy to not want to waste 4x as much time waiting lol Just because it's a small amount of time doesn't make it any less significant
I thought this was kind of interesting...
I bought my Nexus 5 from Tmobile (north america), found out that I have very little (read: zero) coverage between my home and work, so I had to cancel. I went ahead and paid off the N5 and switched to AT&T.
Oddly enough, the myAT&T screen shows me as having a LG 821, which, I believe, is the international version!
I found that concerning as I thought Tmobile might have worked better for me if I had the correct phone... but my bootloader shows D820.
Anyone else have the same quark on their myAT&T page?

Funny - never noticed this before either, but AT&T reports mine as the 821 also.
I have the 820 model.

My wife and I both have Nexus 5's on at&t. I bought her's from google and mine from tmobile. Ours both show 821 too, but they are 820's. If they were 821's, you would have no LTE. Im in atlanta with lte everywhere.
LG 821 too, bought it from the Google store. I can use the wap.cingular apn only. No LTE for me.
LG821 here as well. I have LTE using attphone APN. I had a Galaxy S4 (LTE) before it, just kept that plan so it all works. Have to have had a LTE capable phone before you get the N5 for it to work properly with your plan to access LTE>

Do any of you get throttled on AT&T with the Nexus 5? I have the Galaxy Nexus, but a cracked screen and now water damage is making me purchase a new phone, and I have yet to be throttled while regularly using over 5G/month.
Thanks!
You only get throttled (or more accurately, your usage is only metered in the throttling system) when using PHONE or PTA apn. Using a galaxy nexus without lte, you're most likely on wap.cingular (which you can do on a phone with no lte). Once their system detects you're imei and determines you have an lte capable device, you're blocked from using wap.cingular, and this your usage will be monitored (as you'll need to use phone or pta). I can trick the system by putting my sim in my old non lte GS2 (i9100), doing "restore apns" then sim swapping back to my nexus 5. THEN I can use wap.cingular, but unfortunately after a day or two they do an imei sweep and I get locked out again On the bright side tmo just announced they'll be eliminating edge and upgrading everything to lte by 2015 so I'm looking forward to dumping ATT very soon.

No throttle. On 6gb family share plan now. I can get over 50mbit/s in SpeedTest with full LTE signal. 95% of the time I'm on WiFi so to boot LTE speeds don't really matter. My data usage last month was a whole 500mb.
Not sure if the International has a different structure for the ESN/IMEI but its quite possible the 821 is what they have in their system as the Nexus 5. They do have traveling customers on the device but more likely prepaid customers. Interesting one indeed.

He's asking about the UNLIMITED plan being throttled I'm sure, and yes it will after 5gb, unless you're on the wap.cingular apn as I described above.
I should mention that the Nexus 4 will NOT be blocked from wap.cingular as it does not have LTE, so if true unlimited data is that important maybe the Nexus 4 might be a better choice.

ATT sent me a message saying I would be throttled at 3GB even though I have "unlimited data", and being throttled sucks, its awful.

Should be 5gb on an LTE device. I'd call in with your imei to get put on an LTE unlimited plan if you're not already (hspa plans throttle after 3gb.). Note that you don't need to be on LTE or even have an LTE device, you just need any att compatible imei to give them so you're on the right plan.

How Do I Check The Model Number?
Hi,
Bought my phone from Google Play. How do I check the model number other then the boot loader?
I checked in 'About Phone', can't find it.
Edit. XDA really has to stop ads from playing with audio with while on the site, drives me nuts.
I tried to use the phone on PTA or Phone APN but it only accepts wap.cingular, because I switched from a 3G phone. The CS rep said my plan is not compatible with LTE, and nothing can be done. I am stuck with HSPA. Oh well, the plus side, I am not throttled.

This is true in some cases. It depends on the person that sets your phone up. Search. When they provision the phone, some AT&T workers, since the Nexus 5 is officially not in their provisioning software, have to select a generic template. If they are smart and do the right thing, you get set up with a LTE capable provisioning for your phone that works perfect. Some however don't know what they are doing and set the phone up with a plan that cannot access 3G for whatever reason. It completely depends on the person provisioning your phone. With phones that are in AT&T's system that might be unlocked but are in their system, such as Galaxy S4 Google Edition or something, it works no problem since the S4 is in their system. However with "oddball" phones like ours that AT&T doesn't officially support you run into issues as some workers may not know how to handle them.
Does the N910T have the same modem as the N910A?
Does anyone have the flashable zips of both modems? I want to see if using the T-Mobile modem effects the LTE speed on AT&T network.

I'd be curious about this as well. I have an unlocked TMo on AT&T - LTE worked great but now I can only get HSPA+ and AT&T claims my phone registers as a Blackberry. Very frustrating.
Mine just stayed acting funny last night. It will only get 4G which is really actually 3g. I have the AT&T version as well. It will only get 4G also now. They might have did something to my Sim, who knows.
OK o just called att and they also said I had a blackberry as my phone. The difference is I have both versions (AT&T and T-Mobile) so when I called I was using the att version. They still couldn't get lte on the att version. Wtf

Because it says 4g and not LTE. I'm on dynamic ROM so icons are correct. Also was only getting 2mbs download. It also said HSPA in settings under status. Also AT&T said it was a blackberry on my account which is setup different then regular LTE (there words). But don't matter I got it fixed with AY&T for now.
On top of all this I didn't just jump to conclusions. After all the problems I odined back, tried kernel, tried modem. Then add a last resort I put my son back into my AT&T note 4(yes I have both) and had ZERO data because of my account. That's what spaked the phone call to AT&T.

Just wanted to make sure I was verifying the signal in the same way. I am getting LTE though. Just seemed slow. I checked the speed with the same Sim card on my note 2 and the speed was so not great. Yeah there having issuers here in Naples to and created a trouble ticket. I've never had really good speeds anyways even on the real AT&T version. Samsung radios dont have the strength of a iPhone which sucks really because everything else beats the iPhone except download speeds and reception. (Thoroughly tested this with a buddy that is addicted to iPhone the way I'm addicted to Samsung phones for the last few years)
I lost LTE today on both my note 4 and g3.
Can't get it back no matter what I try.
Sounds like APN issue or Sim card issue. I have a T-Mobile Note 4 on ATT and I've had LTE the whole time...no problems. I did get a new Sim because I was using a nano Sim with adapter. 2g 3g 4g works fine as well. I'm in SW Missouri and my phone shows as a note 4.

In my experience with this if ATT has the actual IEMI of the off network device you will only get HSPA/HSPA+ at best. It does not matter what your APN settings are and this can only be fixed by providing an IEMI of a device that was sold with AT&T access from the start.
I made a mistake and provided the IEMI (at the time an unlocked MetroPCS S5) and could not get LTE. I told them that I was switching devices and provided the IEMI of my HTC One M8. After rebooting, LTE came back with good speeds again.
This is one reason why as a tinkerer I prefer AT&T over VZW. Verizon will refuse to activate a non VZW device. AT&T's official word is they will allow it but cannot guarantee speed or reliability. In my experience, however using a TMO or other GSM device with them has been fine.
EDIT:
Just logged in to MyATT and mine is showing up as "Samsung SM-N910T".
All I did was insert a sim card from one of my other devices. I'm using a nano sim to micro adapter as well. It's a PIA however I have an M8 and iphone6 which are both nano devices. I'm surprised that Samsung is still using micro sim cards!
I logged in this morning and mine is now showing as 910T as well. I still have LTE.
Not to hijack the thread, but those of you using TMO's Note 4 on AT&T, is your LTE reception good?
And flashing a different carrier's modem on a device could mess up the IMEI number.

Hello,

any help?
thanks
I recently got an n910T for use on AT&T and just stuck my sim card in. I get LTE, but it's slow, like around 6MB down, so more like HSPA speeds. My phone does not show a model on the AT&T website. Should I call AT&T to register my IMEI? The main problem might be that my phone wants to always stay on band 2 even when I am in a signal area with much stronger band 17 (-110dB vs -85dB). When I am at work, in a metal building with AT&T repeaters, it stays on band 17 which is all that is available, so I know it can do band 17, it just does not want to.
Has anyone noticed their FI SIM roam when off of sprint and t-mobile coverage?
I have a Nexus 6, 6p and 5x. When my FI SIM is in the 6P and N6 and I'm in sprint mode/CDMA mode and there is no sprint coverage I have noticed that talk/text and 3g data work just fine on both the VZW and the US Cellular networks.
Also when in T-Mobile mode/ GSM mode and there is no T-Mobile coverage, both talk/text and LTE/HSPA/Edge data work just fine on AT&T. Also if on AT&T I actually have mobile data while on a phone call!!!??
But on my 5x I have no roaming at all doesn't matter what I do. It will not work at all on any network except Sprint and T-mobile.
All 3 of the phones have been tried on various ROMS and kernels and that don't seem to make a difference. Currently on Chroma/Franco on all 3.
I use FI Switch by @dwithereIl and Signal Check PRO to switch between CDMA and GSM mode and to know what provider I am currently on.
What has been you experience?

3g and HSPA on VZW, US Cellular and AT&T are all quite bad. less then 1 meg generally. But usable. AT&T LTE however seems to be comparable to actual AT&T speeds. Only did one speed test on AT&T LTE and it was Band 4 and was about 10meg which was exactly what my actual AT&T phone was.

Yeah exactly! Something cool about paying 20$ +data and tax and having a single Sim that works with the 5 major providers in the USA. Talk and text works perfectly. Data works, just slow.

Sorry, didn't read the rest of your question.. It doesn't seem to go to AT&T very well at all if there is either T-Mobile or Sprint coverage. But when there is neither of those it goes to AT&T LTE and HSPA no problems. Here is a speed test on VZW 3g... Now it says alltel, but that's actually VZW.. Used to be alltel up here in MI.
I have roamed with my Nexus 6 on GSM/ CDMA carriers.
-I have had no speed issues roaming on Verizon.
-On AT&T it said 3G however it was more like HSPA+

Oh absolutely. Project Fi and their SIM, and technology is amazing. On their own Sprint and T-Mobile service can be a bit dodgy. Combining the two has given me excellent service. I have only not had service in one area in the middle of nowhere. I was a dubious early early adopter. Two months later I dropped Verizon and went full time with Fi.

For sure!! My wife and I both have FI and I've been impressed. No brainer if your not a heavy data user. I work in IT and am often in basements with no cell coverage an the WiFi talk and text is very very handy!!

I'm pursuing a degree in IT at the moment!
Anyways, Right Wifi calling and texting is a godsend. I used to be a data hog but I have learned to download and pre-cache stuff and connect to Wifi more religiously. Sometimes my bills are as low as 25$

Hey, best of luck to you!! Its an excellent industry to be in!! Growing like leaps and bounds!!
Can't beat that compared to the $60 - $80 you'd be giving to VZW
So just to be clear... when this roaming happens, is there any additional charge or is it billed at the same rate?
