[Q] Good Proximity Friend finder app???

I have come to find out that HD7 apps blow and there isn't a wide variety. I am looking for an app that will tell me who is near by- not necessarily just facebook friends but anyone in general that has the app. the only one I can find is "whos near me" but the nearest person to me is two states away...
Any ideas? And if you know of any other cool apps let me know- especially social networking with lots of peeps on it

There is the "...i'm a WP7" app that you can use as it has quite a lot of users and shows people in your proximity and allows you to message them.
It is also updated regularly with new features and best of all its FREE

Application not installed?

Hi,
I have HTC Touch Diamond 2 with last official ROM and the last XDAndroid FRX07.1 but when i run android market and search for "radar tunisie" they are 4 results but android market show me only 2 applications (the needed application is not displayed ) Sow i downloded this application (Radar tunisie v1.0) in this link mediafire.com/?wi37vg4fvvond0l but there are an error "The application is not installed"
Please help me and sorry for my bad english (hope that you can read ^^)

The apk you downloaded is probably not right signed... Try another apk you can find

So WTF! Was it not being right signed the issue?!?! Damn all these half ass threads with no information! If you start a thread with a question and the someone offers a solution, you should try that solution and report back as to whether it works or not!! Threads like these are why I've spent 3 hours today searching for an answer or help and haven't found anything but a waste of time on reading threads like these!! You suck!

[APP] Previous version of HTC HUB (v1.8)

I, personally, hate the new HTC Hub. I think it's full of wasted space and prefer the older version. I searched pretty hard and could not find a later release of version 1 out there. After looking long and hard, I found a XAP for it. It's version 1.8. Since it isn't easy to find here or anywhere else, I'm posting it. Cheers.

Where would one find older versions of the HTC apps particularly the Compass app. Until Zune recognizes my phone needs the mango drivers my "updated" compass app won't work but I know the older one did because I used it all the time

I'll upload it later when I have some time. My WiFi is out so I'm using the new WiFi tethering from my hd7 which by the way is slow as hell. Gonna figure that out layer seems like its not picking up 3g.. Top speed is only like 12kb/s

Finally got to upload HTC Hub v1.9. Here it is.

I have tested both versions, but none of them seems to update the weather in start screen.
It was working before, I updated, but now it doesn't work anymore with any version I install. Does any one knows why?

From which version they remove the cool animations in HTC Hub?
I was using the latest dull version (2.x), but today I hard reset my phone (WP7.8) and I am back to version 1.8 and the cool animations with flying through the clouds. Is this the latest version with these animations?

Hi, I'm very attracted by technology but because I entered the seminary (convent) had to take my distance from it for a while. now that I'm back, after nearly 10 years I see the HUGE jump that I have to give. My question is:
if theres a way to connect the sgs3 I9305 that I bought with my macbook pro(just the drivers, no kies). I tried the android file transfer app but didn´t work. Can any one help?

Are you using Lion? I hadde majore problems with it. Mountain Lion works fine for me. Snow Leopard is also fine.

Thanks jje, I`m really new to this. To complement the info: yes I`m running mountain lion. I did downloadad the app from the web page they have. and when i plug in the phone I get a window saying: "no android sys tem detected try econnnecting" I saw a video in you tube where they said your suposed to change the setting to camera ppt I did it and Iphoto inmediately pop ups detecting the phone but just with photos if i start the android file transfer app I get a message saying: no device found.
NOTE: My phone is NOT rooted

Hi Guys;
I just found out that OK Google works with Windows Error Sound! I know many of you want to say that it catches the frequency and blah blah …, but I just wanted to share it with you guys thinking it may help you !!!...
Let me know your thoughts on the same !!!
