soon as the rom stayed for like 3 days onwards.. i'm having this kind of graphics, it makes the dark part like very low quality. but when i tend to screenshot it, it's okay in the computer. it's kinda greeny for video(dark/black part example when they're on dark places) for images/live wallpaper: it's low quality black. that's what i see in my screen, it's somehow like this:
example picture of the problem that i want to be fixednot to be exactly like this, this is just an example)

it's background should be black. i edited that picture using Photoshop. here is the link of the original photo: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yeRcLVjGt...DFvOD7l8Q/s1600/The-Vampire-Diaries-Logo.jpeg
It's not really look like that, but it makes the dark part of the image/wallpaper/video low graphic quality.

need to fix that thing.. when i change rom, it's good. the quality is really okay.
Actually, that's not low quality rendering. It's a problem with voodoo colour. To fix it, either use a kernel without voodoo colour or go here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1002090

i see, i tend to set up my voodoo color's gamma with all 7.
and the RGB is just like how was set up. but tend to put them on the side,(max). the green one is at max, then red and blue aren't.
that i get good looking bright screen. but having that problem tho. i'll try that on the link you gave me. im currently charging my phone at 100% before i go cm9.
i followed the -50red -53green -44blue for the gamma hack. but this is my RGB:
now i tend to max the brightness than before on the almost min brightness. just try to fix that gamma failure. thanks!!

I ran the GLBenchmark on my Nook Color, then on my DINC and a few others and finally grabbed a bit more results from their website and this is what I got.
Turns out, the NC isn't a bad gaming platform at all. We already suspected that but cold hard numbers are a welcome confirmation.
Also interesting: if you have a solid disposable income, the Galaxy Tab is the leader of the pack. And if you have a solid disposable income AND speed scares you, the Streak seems like a good fit.

Would a froyo upgrade improve those numbers?
Looks to me on first glance that the NC would match the highest scores with some overclocking.
Homer
Yes, I was thinking that overclocking would be good. We won't see this until a custom kernel is released, though.
And no, unfortunately I do not think that Froyo would give us any improvement; these tests run native code, not Java, so a JIT won't make a difference.
Those numbers look suprisingly good. I use a DINC too and was expecting the NC numbers to be lower, not higher!
Just a shot in the dark but I am wondering, did you by any change change the refresh rate of the nook from the 48000 to 68000 (or 66461) before you ran these test?
Just wondering considering the 2 test that were hitting the mid 40's could possibly may have been vsynced down instead of allowing them to go higher perhaps?
No idea if this would apply to an android system, but would it hurt to check?
An intriguing thought, indeed.
I will see if the refresh rate hack "takes." I've read that many people are having trouble convincing their NC.

That is the one conclusion that I did not feel like voicing in my original post: "Oh, no, my poor Dinc."
Hi everyone, i might have a problem with my OB. WHen i use camera some blue dots are appearing in the videos :| as well in the pictures, most often in low light environment. Anyone has the same issues? Sorry for my english btw.
Yea I have the same exact problem
Same here. U find solution?

Do you guys maybe have a screen problem? I mean, go to hidden menu and make a display test, or simply upload a black, a white, a green and maybe a red picture to your phone. If you also see the spots there, you got dead pixels, otherwise, maybe ur cam is dirty?
or maybe you see "camera noise"

No It's not dead pixels, just when taking pictures with the camera.
no, not dead pixels, its something with the camera. I've searched on the web and i found problems like this at many other phones. But just in low light environment, so i guess its hardware. I'm using zeus v6.39 but i dont think its software , or could i be wrong?
Here is an example

must be software because i get this with all lg based roms like zeus v7
Lol
Same here. But I think is software, I have the same problem with stock-based ROMs. Now I'm using CM7 and I don't have this issue.
Sorry for bad english
Is there a mod or a kernel to flash that allows to change the color screen temperature? Mine is a little too warm and i'd like to became more cold.

With CyanogenMod 10.1.2 I could change the colour temperature, but with 10.2 I just can't find that setting anymore. Was it removed and is there a way?
If not, that app is good? I read Chainfire3D, but it's for older android versions.

Faux kernel, if you mean this

Is there a smaller and more specific app? Faux kernel does a load of things, which explains the price, not worth buying if all you need is to make your screen slightly colder in temperature.
Can't believe it is so hard to find this. Like I could not believe nobody ever seemed to have made a Galaxy S3 analogue clock widget.

I don't know mate.
Fauxclock is built for faux kernel in advance, but probably is compatible with a lot of kernel.
However, try to search on the play store or here on xda.
p.s. The kernel have to support this feature too
Latest ElementalX-Versions support changing colors, best is to read the last pages as some spotted this topic. Faux's Kernel Tuner was the only mentioned app though for changing the colours AFAIR..

SwapMod
Backround swap for Color Display Calibration in Settings.
This Mod just replaces the backround image usually found in Settings/Display/Color Display
with a higher resolution image which could visually help aide for better color calibration.
The original image is at 720p and the colors doesn't
really help to calibrate your screen correctly.
I made this mod so I don't have to go back and forth setting my display color.
Thats All. Nothing much. Give it a try.

Haha Are you serious? I never knew that was there.
There goes a few hours of my life.
Gave it a try. It's only changing the background on my home screen. I'll have to try it before applying the mod.

The idea was there mate
Just tried it out on PA. The image I chosed with the menu button doesn't stay permanently. At least this mod gives you the option to change it permanently.
Hello! I have noticed that my device is changing color when tilting the phone in different angles. It gets a slight pinkish/reddish tint and I wonder if everyone has this or if my screen is bad and if I should get the phone replaced? I took a video of it but it doesn't really show as much in the video as it does IRL. It's much more noticeable IRL. I can't add the video here due to XDA rules.
So, is this normal or should I get it replaced?
My s10 plus doesnt do this hmmm, do you run it on wqhd? See if that makes a difference if not I reccomend taking it back

It happens no matter the settings I use. Tried vivid turned to cool, tried to turn down the red color etc etc. It's only noticeable on a white/grey background. Like in the Gmail. I guess I'll try to get it replaced.

Seems like it's a common issue. Not sure if it's actually normal tho? A friend of mine has almost none of this issue on his. I also took a picture of it showing quite a lot of the issue.

Mine is much less pronounced and if i look the screen straight on is perfectly white
I can see green edges if I tilt the phone.
