so i have two milestone 3 asia gsm verson,
one has already flashed to a XT860 sbf, one is stock,
and i have RSD lite 5.6
but i lack Diag Interface, Model Interface, MUX Interface, NMEA interface, and TCMD Interface's drivers,
soo i can;t get my phone connect with RSD lite to flash,
If some one can give me a link to the proper drivers for the DROID 3 / XT 860 /ME863 it will be great,
i know this sound stupid but i can;t get those damn drivers to work for me,
so i have to see if the problem is fixed if i reinstall my window , cuz i am on a win 7 64bit ,
Im exatly with tha same prob. If anyone could help... i'd apreciate it. thanks

before you flame me, i have looked into this. i did the diag work around. Tried to install the Diag.inf(that came in the HTC HERO driver pack) by right click(told me it didnt install that way). Installed HTC sync and let it install drivers, and went into DM mode by ##3424# on my HTC HERO!
i found a driver install for XP/Vista but none for Windows 7. Its called QDhtc.msi
DOES anyone have this for Windows 7 or could someone tell me a walkthrough to bypass it? i can get the Phone into Dm mode(diag mode) but i cant get QPST to recognize the phone in the ports part.
IM trying to flash the phone to cricket(and have done many phones this way) but for some reason i cant get this one down. I was wondering if it would be best to just install Virtual PC(w/ XP mode) on the computer and install that MSI that way?
If anyone has any suggestions or ANYTHING i would really appreciate it!
anyone? i got the phone rooted finally(i think). i now have a custom recovery menu i just cant get the SPC(msl) due to the DIAG DRIVER THING!!

There's a thread around here somewhere that tells you how to get the MSL via logcat. Or you can call Sprint and tell them you're manualy updating your PRL and need your MSL.
i am having the same problem and im getting frustrated. PLEASE..... some help?!?
what i did was install fresh toast 2.1(or any ROM) and then run the Logcat to get my MSL. I had to run a virtual XP to get the driver thing going. After i installed the virtual XP i just installed the drivers on XP and it worked like a charm.
Cant connect to RSDlite with my droid x
Here is the story.
I could really use some help here. I had originally rooted my droid x and then tried moving the bin to xbin to keep root. But being that i am really new to this i did not know you couldn't update to 2.2 if you had anything custom installed. so i SBF flashed my phone to stock.. left root off, then updated. Being dumb i tried using the root program for 2.1 on my 2.2. says its rooted fine.. it didn't.. no big deal i hope. i don't know if this has any affect as to why this issue is happening but i figured its worth mentioning. Anyways... so now i want to downgrade from 2.2 to 2.1 so i can root and move the bin file properly but i cant. Every time i try to connect to my computer in PC mode, it fails to load/install the driver for my X. my computer recognizes that its the MB810 but fails... so i cannot connect properly to RSDlite in order to perform the flash.. i have tried connecting in all modes media sync... charge only.. PC mode.. etc.. and yes USB debugging is enabled.. i have been trying to figure this out for a couple days now and I'm going crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
BTW i am using windows 7 64bit
UPDATE:
I now have the drivers installed and the phone connects properly to my computer, not sure if i am connecting properly to RSDlite but it still will not allow me to flash the sbf. the sbf i am using is the phoxus -the gift- for the life of me i cannot figure out why it will not let me flash. i open RSD..select my sbf.. connect my phone.. and the start button will not light up.

I would delete the drivers and install the Motorola driver that you can get at Motorola. I have 2.2 which is running great but I still had to reinstall the drivers see that my PC could See my DX.
Before you can do anything your PC has to See your DX with no issues.
Hope this helps
I'm on 7/32

Switch the mode of the device when pluggied in and the drviers should load fine. That said change it from PC mode to Windows Sync Mode and you should be good to go.
Follow this to get your computer to recognize your DX running Froyo, you need new drivers.
1. USB Mass Storage without Development Mode on.
2. MotoConnect will prompt; Install.
3. PC Mode with Development Mode on.
4. ADB activate again on leaked Froyo.
Thanks for all the quick replies. I really appreciate it. I will try all of this when I get home. Thanks again. I'll keep you posted.

I could do everything except "mass storage" on win 7 x64. I finally had to reinstall windows to get it working again. Hope you have better luck.

no sorry, i just did the downgrade and had no problems.
well as it turns out.. somehow i got it working, but i dont know how.. but i did. so yea. i guess installing a new copy of windows seemed to do the trick. I hope this thead can help others also. GOOD LUCK and thank you all for helping me out.
You can also go to ubuntu and get a copy of linux for free, burn it to disc, then boot into linux from the disc. No install needed. Once in, use SFB_Flash (google it) to flash the SFB file...P3Droid and Birdman both recommed this vs the RSDlite.
I'm a noob needing some of that famous XDA expert advice... I have a Captivate running the stock 2.1 rom. My phone is running Unleash the Beast and lag-fix. Phone has been running fantastic but I did something (not sure what) yesterday and now when I reboot it gets past the AT&T screen and freezes. I can reboot to recovery mode using the power and volume buttons but deleting data and cache has had no effect. I have no experience with flashing android roms or backing them up. My question is: can I reflash the stock rom (if I can find a copy somewhere) with Odin and fix this mess or am I bricked and might as well call AT&T? Please respond soon! Thanks!
Tell me your build number, located under battery, mine us 1008.
Do you have a mac or windows pc?
Do you have the usb drivers installed, have you bern able to connect with your pc?
Odin will save you, we just need to figure out which one to use
Wow, that was quick! Well, there's alot of #'s under here... the only # that looks remotely like yours is 1011 with a barcode and then rev0.4. Hope that's it. I have a windows PC and the USB drivers are installed. I use PdaNet to tether my pc to the internet via USB debugging mode... I have not tried to to connect to my pc after this problem, no. I'm using my old HTC FUZE to connect as we speak... Thanks!
I think it is safer to try this

You are on a newer build then I am. The odin I use brings me to stock jf6, I believe your stock is jh7. This post is very detailed and if you floor the steps you should be good to go
If you have any other questions send me a pm
K. Thanks, dude. I'll check it out.
hello everyone, i would like to ask: anyone with jellybean and windows xp has been able to get the pc recognise your device! i have try tons and tons of drivers, even from sdk tools and none of them worked for me...
all i wanna do is used the "reverse thetering" but adb doesnt list my device... and i repeat i have no problem at all when i use gb, the problem comes with ics and jb, havent been able to find the correct drivers.
Once i flash jb i wont be able to use adb? in case i could, why none of the drivers i download even from sdk tool work for me?
Ty for replay and merry christmass to all!
