[Q] Anyone running KAK and 3gTurboCharge scripts ? - LG Revolution

Anyone ? and any feedback, on 3g speed, KAK performance ?

I apologize for the short response, I'm at work. I am running KAK and 3gTurboCharger, plus I am also running the newest v6Supercharger script. KAK does make a big difference in my opinion. I have also noticed some speed increase with the 3g script. I am also running a few extra build.prop tweaks. If you would like I would be more than happy to try to come up with a list of mods that I have done. I am decently happy with my phone now after the improvements these scripts and Mt's contributions have make.

chainfire 3d, overclocking gpu

there's a tut about doing this for the droid bionic here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1279735
any thoughts on whether or not this would work? I know bhp was looking into it, but i'd not heard anything since. what would it help us with beyond certain games? pros/cons? thanks guys
For instance, would it enable us to actually play 720p videos etc?

Just like to say, I just installed the free version and it made a huge difference in blood and glory! May look into getting the pro version when I get paid on Fri. Interested to see if the tegra games will work.

It does work and made blood and glory more playable but when i run antutu benchmark my 3d score took a big drop

Nope
Have no idea why that happened
Maybe the tweaks I have didn't play nice with it
Also when I uninstalled it my 3d score went back up but still wasn't where it was at

Freezing after setting cpu to 1900mhz

Hello , I've been doing alot of reading on xda about different tweaks for the revo. I currently have gingervolt 1.3, with blitz 2.0 kernel @1.9 with smoothass governor , ics tweaks , v6 supercharger u9 rc4 , adrenaline shot v13 , disable verify bytecode and chainfire 3d. Also have the gingerfusion 3.8 theme . I have the v6 supercharger on option 6 , and if I go into rom toolbox pro and set the cpu slider to 1900 MHz and choose the smoothass gov , phone will lag bad and then restart after a few minutes. Any ideas as to what I might have wrong ?

Yea I have it set to 1804 and it seems pretty stable , I just seen where quite a few people were running at 1900. I was just curious why mine was restarting , guess maybe it just varies between particular revos ?

I got a good one for ya...

Ok here's the specs
Gingervolt 1.3
Latest Blitz kernal (kernalizer in supercharge script applied)
Supercharged
Couple tweaks from the tweaks collection in dev. Forums
ickangwich latest version theme
CPU set by rom toolbox to 1401 max
460 min
On smartass2 gov.
And the problem...
Quite often i will be enjoying the hell out of my revo, then it happens. An unresponsive screen. I have to turn the screen off in order to fix it. Which really sucks when right in the middle of a epic cartoon wars battle... and really frustrated me writing this... PLEASE SEND HELP!!!

Which tweaks did you use and what option do you have set on the Supercharger? You could try lowering the Min too. Take it down to 250 and see how that does. If the doesn't work you can try overclocking more or dropping it lower than 1.4gHz.

I think it is a problem with gingerbread. Mine does that and I'm only on my theme.

I don't think it has anything to do with any tweaks mine does it when running a stock deodexed ROM. Basically the screen freezes Arnd you turn it off and turn it back on and unlock it and it works again.

So there's absolutely nothing we can do about it? That's awesome... i just love lg!

try using option 5 in supercharger instead of 7, also check for redundancies in build.prop etc. (a friend had 4 entries of kak & SC in favorites and in build.prop) if you've ever updated the script. If its the same that mt burned into gv 1.3 you should be ok in that regard, however if you've ever installed other scripts/appkiller apps and so forth that affect kernal or memory settings you could be having conflicts. But to be honest I've had the screen freeze when it was stock and unrooted. I still have them but pretty rarely anymore.

This was happening with lg/Stock v7 pretty sure nothing can be done except lock then unlock screen

Lies!!! Thanks hicks for the advice. Changed min to 250. Now instead of freezing where i have to lock/unlock, it simply lags a little. But its real quick to catch up.

Glad you got it working a little better now! You say it still lags though? What do you have the max set at for it now?

i kept the max at 1.4... so far its pretty stable.. hasnt done it in a couple days but the lag is only in the keyboard. like i'll type something and i think it froze again, but a second after it catches back up with what im typing. it hasnt froze yet since i set it there so maybe it worked?
It happened to me when I changed my CPU settings.
I would get random locks at 1.5GHz on Smoothass. Changed it down to betwee 1.2-1.4 and haven't seen it yet.
You can try reflashing Blitz

Quick question

Im really considering upgrading to Broken Out v1.1 , but the things im afraid about:
Mostly the CPU and the tweaks from SPC_Hicks.
Do the tweaks still stay even though i completley wipe it? If not, then can i do it again on the zv8?
The CPU. Does the 1900 vs the stock CPU actually make a total difference in using your phone? I know that the zv8 fixed alotta bugs, but like would the speed be nearly the same?
because i honestly dont want to upgrade to zv8 and figure out that my phone lags every 5 seconds. \:
EDIT:
So if i didnt like zv8, could I simply just restore the zv7 backup i made through CWM?

Any lag ( if any) can be fixed in most cases by adjusting the min up to 245 (i think it is) and mt has kernal source now so im sure blitzzv8 will be here soon

You'll have to re-do them.
My revo has less lag now than it had with overclocking before the update. Plus my battery life now is amazing. 34 hours with extended battery as opposed to 10-12 before.

I've done all the tweaks you possibly can. From Hicks to supercharger to thunderbolt. Also beats audio. No problems and battery life is outrageous. I charge my phone like every other day.
--My REVO is Broken, tweaked, SC'd, and TB'd. Just awesome!

Yep. I haven't tried out some of them, but they should be worthwhile judging by the thread comments.
