there's a tut about doing this for the droid bionic here:

any thoughts on whether or not this would work? I know bhp was looking into it, but i'd not heard anything since. what would it help us with beyond certain games? pros/cons? thanks guys
For instance, would it enable us to actually play 720p videos etc?

Just like to say, I just installed the free version and it made a huge difference in blood and glory! May look into getting the pro version when I get paid on Fri. Interested to see if the tegra games will work.

It does work and made blood and glory more playable but when i run antutu benchmark my 3d score took a big drop

Nope
Have no idea why that happened
Maybe the tweaks I have didn't play nice with it
Also when I uninstalled it my 3d score went back up but still wasn't where it was at

Anyone else have this? I've tried to reinstall, reboot, and it'll run one test and then go back to the start screen in quadrant. Also there is no texture at all in the walls or ground area just blank surfaces with no detail. Anyone else have this?

The issue has to do with how gingerbread does 3D graphics. Quadrant hasn't been updated to handle that yet. Also, for reference people running morfic's 1.5GHz kernel have been getting 4k+ scores on quadrant by running the test without 3D, it still crashes sometimes but the scores are amazing when it works.
If you get the paid version just run a custom benchmark without 3D.

It works now. Update from the market.
Tegrak overclock works on EF02 allowing up to 1.3ghz
Tegrak Ultimate can UV/OV as well
Don't see this here yet so just gonna let everyone here know that tegrak overclock has been updated and supports our epics. I also wanted to set up a thread to discuss internal voltages and such that our gingerbread epics like. It also appears we can only go up to 1.3ghz.
I reccomend buying tegrak ultimate to support this awesome developer
The free version of tegrak can be used but does not apply after reboot.

It works and shows in quadrant I got 3304 1.3ghz is a little unstable but 1.252ghz is perfect. The evo 3d got overclocked without source we just needed some love from tegrak

It works. 1.3ghz makes my phone crash. Probably because the voltage isn't set high enough cause it works fine on overclock froyo kernels. I am getting 3300+ on quadrant @1.252ghz w/journaling on though.

The hardware hasn't changed, so the simple answer is, whatever worked for your individual phone on froyo and eclair... Your values will be different than everyone else's, however, so a new thread won't really yield anything useful, just like the other threads.
As discussed before, any discussion of OC and UV settings its like trying to determine a universal diet for everyone - we're all human, but we won't all be perfectly healthy on the same diet. Sorry for the rant, but this particular topic needs to die already...

great news...can't wait untill the source code is released for gingerbread, so our great epic devs can really get this ball rolling, BTW, BIG THANKS to all of our epic developers out there, you guys are doing a great job.........
but i think i'll stick with overclocked froyo till source code
STABLE 1.4ghz ALL DAY!!!!!
quadrant: 2966
linpack: 24.982
rom: syndicate frozen 1.2
kernel: genocide 2.0
I have mixed results at times by just enabling the app and going on any frequency below 1.3 I can somehow bog my phone down into a crash, but I'm going to keep testing.

I can't find this app for the life of me lol
EDIT: was looking for it with my Prime gonna try my phone. damn compatability issues lol
EDIT2: Yeah I found it on my phone. To bad I can't have it on my Prime I bet it would run great on there and make it worth while. Looks like a free SPB shell

I used this one for awhile too and i loved the idea of different workspaces especially the ability to have a locked/hidden workspace, but the lack of customization as G4 man2 mentioned is what killed it for me as well.

Hello , I've been doing alot of reading on xda about different tweaks for the revo. I currently have gingervolt 1.3, with blitz 2.0 kernel @1.9 with smoothass governor , ics tweaks , v6 supercharger u9 rc4 , adrenaline shot v13 , disable verify bytecode and chainfire 3d. Also have the gingerfusion 3.8 theme . I have the v6 supercharger on option 6 , and if I go into rom toolbox pro and set the cpu slider to 1900 MHz and choose the smoothass gov , phone will lag bad and then restart after a few minutes. Any ideas as to what I might have wrong ?

Ok here's the specs
Gingervolt 1.3
Latest Blitz kernal (kernalizer in supercharge script applied)
Supercharged
Couple tweaks from the tweaks collection in dev. Forums
ickangwich latest version theme
CPU set by rom toolbox to 1401 max
460 min
On smartass2 gov.
And the problem...
Quite often i will be enjoying the hell out of my revo, then it happens. An unresponsive screen. I have to turn the screen off in order to fix it. Which really sucks when right in the middle of a epic cartoon wars battle... and really frustrated me writing this... PLEASE SEND HELP!!!

Which tweaks did you use and what option do you have set on the Supercharger? You could try lowering the Min too. Take it down to 250 and see how that does. If the doesn't work you can try overclocking more or dropping it lower than 1.4gHz.

I don't think it has anything to do with any tweaks mine does it when running a stock deodexed ROM. Basically the screen freezes Arnd you turn it off and turn it back on and unlock it and it works again.

So there's absolutely nothing we can do about it? That's awesome... i just love lg!
Sent from my VS910 4G using Tapatalk
try using option 5 in supercharger instead of 7, also check for redundancies in build.prop etc. (a friend had 4 entries of kak & SC in favorites and in build.prop) if you've ever updated the script. If its the same that mt burned into gv 1.3 you should be ok in that regard, however if you've ever installed other scripts/appkiller apps and so forth that affect kernal or memory settings you could be having conflicts. But to be honest I've had the screen freeze when it was stock and unrooted. I still have them but pretty rarely anymore.

i kept the max at 1.4... so far its pretty stable.. hasnt done it in a couple days but the lag is only in the keyboard. like i'll type something and i think it froze again, but a second after it catches back up with what im typing. it hasnt froze yet since i set it there so maybe it worked?
It happened to me when I changed my CPU settings.
I would get random locks at 1.5GHz on Smoothass. Changed it down to betwee 1.2-1.4 and haven't seen it yet.
