what version ?

the first doesnt work, not keep press-release and not just vol down... and adb doestn work for me when i got bootloop

If it's CM, the keycombo of recovery are called by init.rc

So, the key combination = Vol Down + Power button
If there's bootloop, but those button combination not working, then service prb /sbin/prb aren't called yet, so it won't work. It might happen when the bootloader not initialized correctly..

?? you don't even indicate on wich rom you are...
If it's on stock rom without flasing any kernel, yes I want to know your secret.
Otherwise, no. I already know how to enter in recovery

on cm7 i didnt know that, just pressing the buttons and it was successful... but as i see it wasnt secret... just 4me... dont know if its work on stock or doesnt

I managed to switch my sd card and now there is no option for boot into recovery anymore ! Please help me !!! When I tried to flash again via fastboot, it said that the image cant be loaded !
How are you trying to get to recovery. Volume - button and push the power button.

I managed to switch from a 4GB class 6 to an 8GB one ! After that, I cant seem to boot into recovery anymore ! I tried to flash the recovery image again but it said that the image couldnt be loaded
Press Volume Down and hold it down while you press Power. Keep Volume Down button held 'til you get the white screen. You'll see recovery...press volume down to select it then power button to enter recovery.

Actually, I think power + trackball should get u into recovery...it works on my N1...

I think @te_quiero_forever_girl meant is it does not enter bootloader with power+trackball...
On my I9000 - Andrid 2.1 - home button not working, that I bought it from a friend. I was curious and I used AndroidSDK and went into recovery mode. Now I can not get out. No way. I took out the battery but nothing. They can move across the volume keys but can not confirm "reboot system now" button for home that does not work. Please, how do I get out of recovery mode? Please...

When the volume keys to select the option "reboot system now" and press the power button nothing happens. Nothing happens even when I press the home button, which I did not ever worked. When I hold power button for 10 seconds the cell phone turned off, and when I hold a few seconds, the mobile restart and back into recovery mode.

if u guys just like to get the phone back to work, it would be the best to just flash a new ROM via ODIN. After that, the phone boots normally.
But I dont know if this is an option!
Hope u are still able to get the phone to downloadmode via 3-Button-Combo?!

Home button isn't working -> no 3 button combo
try using a jig to get it in download mode and flash a stock rom
In recovery mode, you also can boot system with power-button.

Using Deepshining myself since yesterday (v7 though) and I just tried what you said.
However I "think" I know your issue, if you try to press both at the same time (volume button down + power button) you might end up with just booting the device normally cause you hit the power button first.
Just try this: shut down the phone --> press & hold the Volume Down button --> press the power button. The phone should then just boot in bootloader (at least for me)
That's all I can think off but im no programmer. Hope it works!

Power your phone off, push and hold volume down, then hold power button as well and hold it for a few seconds. Then you ll reboot to recovery or simply boot the phone, hold the power button, choose reboot, in the next menu choose boot recovery and done.

simple use SFT.
there is PBR (iirc, pseudo-boot recovery, button combo to enter recovery, cmiiw) on cm10. I think cm10.1 also has it.
turn on the phone, focus on led button, when it start blink for the first time press volume down + power button. You should press it at the right time to make it work. Tried it couples of time.

iI just saw that it work onjy on GB roms and cm10 cm10.1
I guess it is about bootloader, I don't know exactly!
I tried it on STOCK ICS 4.0.4 (Nemesis) and it dind't work for me.
