Hello everyone, I have a problem with the market! any rom I install every time I go in the My Library section of the market did not detect applications installed on the device ... and the problem occurs, I think, every time I restore with TB ... I tried to wipe data. I tried deleting the cache of the market, uninstall, reinstall .. but nothing .. the problem is the strange thing is that the market via the web applications I know about them, and even if I download applications from the nexus of the market, not transferred in "my library" .. please help me!
I translated with google translate everything, forgive the poor English

That wipe data and deleting the cache normally work for me but in your case it didn't work... Have you try remove your gmail account and the add it back to see it will sync back... Or while on market search apps you already install just to see it remark 'installed' or not.
I did everything you told me and still does not work ... in the search, apps already installed remark "installed" or "update"...the problem is just on My Library section
you can try to delete the market cache and install 1 app. Or you can use the doctormarket from titanium backup
i've done this, but the problem remains!

My OS is Froyo 2.2.1 installed in a rooted custom ROM.
I installed a clean Custom ROM after a crash, but I can't install any application from the Android Market or appk still remained in the \mnt\sdcard.
The Unknown sources is checked!
I read in many forums that to fix the problem, I have to clear the cache and the data from the Market application using Settings --> Applications --> Manage Applications --> Market appl. The problem is that "Manage Applications" doesn't stop to show that it is "Computing" therefore it doesn't let me clean the cache.
Anybody – any idea? Is there another way to fix it?
Roby
I sent a mail with the same question to Android Market Support and they refused to answer because I use a custom ROM.
I read in some place that to fix the problem I have to do a Factory Reset. Actually I have done it before I installed the ROM. It seems that I have done something wrong after the new ROM was installed. One of the first things I have done was to add an account [the same I use with the market] and then I tried to download and install applk from the Market and it's stuck.
Any help?
did you try uninstalling any market updates i had the same problem but when uninstalled the market update it worked
or try installing another version of the market through cwm
I was uninstalling a few apps from my phone that I no longer needed (including the uninstallation of Google Talk and Google Voice Search using Titanium Backup) and then rebooted my phone. Upon reboot I found that all of the apps that had been installed on my phone memory were gone; included in these were essential Google apps like the Market, Gmail, Maps, and YouTube.
I had made a backup using Rom Manager a couple of weeks ago and had restored my phone; unfortunately, all of my apps were still missing on restore including the aforementioned Google apps. I found a Market apk that I used in order to reinstall all of my apps but the Market continually force closes, even after wiping the data and cache.
I have never encountered anything like this before and hope someone can help me with this issue. If it helps I have a Rooted Nexus One (unlocked) running a stock ROM Android 2.3.6.

Hello
I had almost the same pb as you...
which software to you use to convert system apps to user apps ?
I use Link2SD for information and it's work fine.
For messaging, I delete it. You can download other apps like Maildroid, inomail....
But you don't have market anymore
I've done the same mistake as you , and after severals try, I found this solution :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1231358
First you download and install Old market on your smartphone, and during the installation, it will ask you if you want the old one or the new market, answer that you want the new one !
It worked for me...
And after, don't touch anymore to market apps
Good luck

Hello guys I have a lot of FCs after making a restore for the system data and apps (backed up from zeus mistakenly restored in cm7) so now I get FC sometimes gmail(disappeared )whatsapp until now I get it's FCs and some other apps how to end this bad FCs
also I installed xms recently when I click under contacts tab view on map it's FC why??
You should restore system data from zeus to CM7. Only user data. It is not compatible.
what about xms?
ebuddy xms? that is a user app, it should work. You could try 2 things:
1 - Restore only the user applications and then the user data. So when you restore the settings of the application, the application is already restored.
2 - In recovery, try to fix permissions
No NO I mean xms bug I installed it on cm7 and didn't restore it only view on map error
I don't know what you mean by xms :S sorry
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...GwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5lYnVkZHkuYW5kcm9pZC54bXMiXQ..
That is what I said
That is a user application. You should be able to restore it. Try to restore again.
System application is like the default dialer, applications that are already included in the rom, stuff like that.
User applications is the applications you install
heeeeeeeeeeeeeeey please read carefully this is OT of restore problem this is another problem/thread/topic called XMS ebuddy force close when I click on the view on map button I didn't backup/restore it this is completely different problem
Sorry, it is late here and I'm tired.
Try to fix permissions in recovery. it could fixes some FC. And the FC could be a problem with the app itself.
thnx man you did your best
now other guys none knows the problem??

I don't use the application, so I can't help. But you could try to go another way, try to find out if the application itself has this bug. comments in application forum, in the play store, something like that
Good luck!
I sent them ticket thnx
sometimes i cannot restore from tb not sure what the problem is but when that happens i try to restore without data or i detele the backup in tb and just reinstall from the market....
sometimes i cannot com[pletely uninstall through tb too when that happens wither i do it through manage applications or i go into es explorer and delete it thru there (for system apps)
Hi all,
Google Now is working perfectly apart from the voice search feature. When I try it, GNow recognises what I say, then immediately crashes with the message 'Unfortunately Google Now has stopped'. I've tried wiping and reinstalling g and v search apps, with no luck. Independent voice apps like vlingo work fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks very much...

Had the very same problem on my new GSIII with Jelly Bean. Tried wiping application data, caches, downloading language files, disabling applications in the search options, all to no avail. In the end I used Root App Delete (free application) to disable Google Search. It doesn't like you messing with System apps bit will allow it. I then installed Google Search from the Market as a user app and have had no issues since.
Might be worth a try, I hope it helps.

Not sure if this will help since I am on Sprint Galaxy S3, and JB 4.1.2 (stock, rooted). I used Titanium Backup to uninstall Google Search and Voice Search. Both were system apps on my phone. Rebooted (just for the heck of it). Then reinstalled Google Search and Voice Search from the martket and it's working fine now.
Uninstall google search with a 3rd party app, reinstall from the market, reboot into recovery, fix permissions, wipe dalvik cache, wipe cache, reboot. Worked on my T889 running Cm10.1 nightlies.
