Has anyone else tried to download the Google+ app on Nexus S? I did and on the android market it said that it is not compatible with my Nexus S. How can that be?

Same here.
I see it was only available to users within the US (and Canada I guess). Maybe it's to do with the whole gradual roll-out of Google+. Anyway, I got it and thanks
Its pretty slow but it works!

The app is working fine for me. I haven't quite figured out which functionality it might be lacking, and it is evolving as Google+ changes. So far so good!
I downloaded it in Germany and it works, no probs.

Works great on my Nexus S. I have a Nexus S circle with 24 users and rising.
To the posters that don't see that it's a big deal, watch the help videos and see how it works. I find something new every few hours.
If you get a notification or post from someone in a different language, right click and select translate and bingo... you have it in your language. Thank you Google

Yeah, and the UI is the best looking UI I've seen in an app. Everything runs really smoothly. Uploading pictures from the phone is effortless. Everything loads really quickly too; better than any Facebook app I've used.

It was said to be within 30 days of launch, so sometime before the 4th of October. Rumor has it overseas, that it is supposed to be around the 15th. So, here's hoping.
Try getting an extended battery.

Where's the logic there? GB is nothing but improvements over Froyo. Ill give you the ui thing though. Not a fan of the GB 'look'
Also, My Aria running GB has my contacts synced with Facebook/twitter just fine.

It'll happen soon I'm sure. A lot of people purchased this phone, its really popular, so I'm sure it's gonna be top priority.
How popular do you think it is? I'm starting to worry about support for this phone going forward. So much so that I'm really hoping that the gs2 comes out before Oct 9 so I can exchange this for it.

Popular enough that I had a hard time finding one in stock LG doesn't have many smart phones on the US market and this is their top of the line android phone. If they're looking to make a good impression on the US market they'll get the update out. They don't have the presence in smart phone market here that HTC, Motorola, and Samsung do. So they're probably actually going to care about the phones they have on the market.

LG said they would update the Optimus 3D to Gingerbread in October. It will take longer to come to the Thrill because AT&T does their own internal testing and must approve the update and have it customized for them. I would guess November. Worst case December. Not a huge deal really. Froyo runs very smoothly on this phone and CM7 should be ready for this device soon if you want Gingerbread now.
Let me rephrase myself. I meant not having gingerbread sucks

Google had almost similar ads at the time of the NS launch. They all look fantastic in ads. Try those stuff in real world and you'll realise they are just fancy crap to attract kids. In the real world voice recognition is never going that perfect and the user would just end up preferring to type!
Also you like a tard asking your phone what the weather will be like =DDD

This.
I used Vlingo for a while and it was great when I was laying in bed and it was perfectly silent.
In real world application, background noise made it and just about any other voice recognition app virtually useless.
Do you all realize that what they show in the video is all a part of promotion - the system doesn't work so fast - you need a really fast internet connection for your voice commands to go to the server and back...
Secondly, if you don't have a American or British accent, it will surely take you a while for the system to understand your command
Try vLingo or Google Voice they both work very well.

Search for Voice Actions in the Market. It is like vLingo and Siri. I've been playing with it and it works pretty well in a controlled environment.
I'm not a fan of voice commands save for when I'm driving but tothose who say that it was a promo video, engagdet tried it on a demo 4s after the keynote and said it was just as flawless as in the video. In fact (supposedly) the video was not a preprogramed demo but the software actually running. That's pretty cool especially for someone with an American accent who frequently get this response while telling my phone to call someone "dial 75294598568429445"
That's neither the name of one of my contacts nor a phone number.

VLingo is the best your gonna get and its not that bad like everyone says in a controlled environment!

Is Verizon Visual Voicemail included with the stock ROM for Nexus 6?
I sure hope so. Here's why...
I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY hoping someone wouldn't mind uploading the VVM app for me
If there's someone who doesn't mind doing this, maybe you'll even be willing to upload it as a ZipMe file?
***It's FREE and its an awesome app to have anyways Above is the actual play store link. :highfive::good:
That would automatically include EXACTLY what I need to get it to work on my phone... that's why I'm asking for that file type.
Whoever helps me with this, I will make it a point to owe you a favor after...so, please don't hesitate to ask me for a file or anything else you might need after! After all, this site is mainly for sharing and helping others, right?
