Is it (if it is, then how?) to acces internal storage and copy music to it? i have 770 MB unused space in it.
The problem is that android doesn't search for new media files on the internal storage. So my answer is no.
With root access i think you can symlink a folder to a ad-hoc internal storage folder and put music there.
In theory it can be done imho

I would like to change my internal SD into a bigger one. I don't know how to do it though. Is there a way? I want to copy my apps and games on my external but I can't. That's why I wanna change the internal. Apparently it's somewhere deep in the phone. Any help is appreciated.
i dont think you can do that.
the phone have about 1.4GB for system storage and 13GB for internal SD

You could use some ICS rom which supports switching internal & external storages. AFAIK at least the CM9 and AOKP supports it.

I don't think you can/should change the internal sd. You have 13 or 14gb of usable memory on your internal, why can't all your apps fit on there? Have you tried move2SD? Also, a majority of apps don't like to be run from a sd card.
Sent from my I9000 running Slim ICS 3.6.
Apps2sd and other sd apps only copy to internal. Because I have a 8gb device my internal is only about 6gb or so. I'm using ICSSGS. Maybe i'll change to some rom that supports external sd apps.
Hi, my advice: you should try Link2SD (on Market)
No more props with storeing more then 200 Apps

How can i get more storage space?
All of the app that can be moved to externel sd card are moved.
But everytime i want to update a app i get this message.
Storage space is running out.
There is 18gig of space left on the externe sd.
And 4,67 gig internel.
Check memory

OP, if you're using custom kernel, it will be easy. I myself has almost filled-up the 2GB allowed for user apps.
But I'm using Doom's custom kernel so I just partition my external sdcard for 2GB ext partition(could be ext2, 3, or 4 file format) and the rest as fat32. Install link2sd app from play store and you can transfer any of your apps in that new ext partition that you just made.

Your phone only has 2gb for apps. If you want more than you need to flash to the doom kernel and partition your sd card so the phone can use it as extra app space.

Hi
Like most of you guys know, if you install
a CM based Rom the mount points of the internal storage are three different ones.
The normal "/storage/sdcard0",
"/data/media/0" and both "/storage/emulated/0" or "/storage/emulated/legacy".
So now my question is, does this mean the data on internal memory requires four times its actual space? And if so can I delete all of them except one?
Thanks in advance for your answers

the reason is our device doesnt have a seperate partition for the internal storage. instead of this the internal storage is located at the /data partition in the directory media. /data uses ext4 which means /data/media, our internal storage, uses it too and that is the problem because we want to be able to transfer files to/from your computer.. just.. ext4 isnt natively supported by windows and mac osx. it would require to install ext4 drivers. now.. fat32/vfat is supported by almost any operating system. so we need to get ext4 to fat32.. but how? with emulation (fuse). google specified where and how to mount and where to create symlinks/references to the emulated internal storage for compatibility reasons.
these symlinks/references point to the internal storage. so these are not copies. in summery any of this folders are indirectly linked with /data/media.
if you store a file at /sdcard/ or /mnt/sdcard, and the others you actually store it to /data/media

OK thanks for the explanation, but then why it is, that I have about 3 GB in the data/media/0 folder (the actual internal storage) and in total more than 7 GB used? The system itself doesn't require 4 GB of my internal storage, does it?

With Android Jellybean 4.2 multiple user support was added. Each user get's his own private internal storage and settings. Other users can't access them except with root rights. /data/media/0 defines the private storage for the first user. /sdcard is then the emulated internal storage using /data/media/0, not /data/media. So there must be data that takes 4GB of space directly at /data/media exluding folder 0 that has 3GB of data.
/sdcard/emulated is pointed to private storage for the currently logged in user.

Now i menaged to delimit my error.
If i imsert the 16gb sd all is fine.
When i insert my 64gb sd then i have the problem

Format you card in PC, because is more effective, and if still give you problems maybe the card is Fake? I hope not, for you. Test that card on PC with thiss.
The card is fine. As i used it on 136 and had no problems.
I cant be sure if its 680 or the RomAur.

i have the same problem, but i think its for kitkat, the file managers apps don't support this version, only the stock file commander, i can't copy or paste a pic from internal to external sd
Which rom are You on? And is your sd 64gb?
Did You try fixsd from playstore?
All things i tried but no solution.
Could someone plase help?

Then test the card and not the phone, did you formatted the card? Which card do you have?
The kard worked well, untill i rooted the sony.
Now there is no way to format it. I tried it on phone, on linux, and on windows. But on remount, all is back as it was before format.
The pc does format, even with linux i tried fdisk and mkfs.ext4, and it tells of no errors, all ok. But on remount all back again, extFat again and all the files are back again.
The sd kard is a SanDisk Ultra 64gb.
I have a Samsung 64Gb SDXC class 10 and it works perfectly with KK firmware
Your SDCard is maybe damaged
OR
You said you're rooted, you have (maybe) write permission to the SDCard that can cause many troubles actually when 3rd app try to access to it.
64gbsd
im using 64gb Extreme sandisk flawless..
Same here. Sony 64Gb sd.
I did everything in tutorial to increasing internal memory in my Galaxy Ace (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2412319).
Everything worked properly but after linking app to the 2nd partition it doesn't reduce size of the app in internal memory at all. I kind of don't understand how the whole moving/linking works or where I made mistake, so sorry if it's so obvious.
(Sorry for my bad English, still learning.)
same here
1.
The apps use data/data, data/app, data/lib all of which are on phone memory (system), internal memory is the storage space built in to the phone for your music, game dlc, vids etc. Link2SD allows you to move app and lib and replace them with a 0kb symbolic link and moving the actual files from system to external sd thus saving space.
To move the data/data requires Link2SD plus and this is where the majority of the app is.
Foldermount allows you to move data from internal sd (not phone memory like Link2SD) to external sd. I haven't tested if it'll link system folders.
I hope that clarifies a few things.
