Does anyone have a copy of the engineering hboot that was posted here a month or so ago? The thread appears to have been removed.

I went looking through the forum for an ENG HBOOT but I didn't find anything at all. I wish someone would come forward with one though. Was it for the GB build or the ICS build?

Gb but it shouldn't matter. Should be able to flash it now and then just update it to the lastest firmware excluding the new hboot. I don't know why they deleted their post.

What about the ENG HBOOT of a Raider or Velocity? Could you use that? I'm looking for anything that might help.

I think any eng hboot will work so long as its in the proper nbo format. Having it signed shouldn't matter now that we have s-off

Would it help to try to track down the owner of the prototype?
Found this post and was wondering if it would help or if it's too old:

EDIT: Or would this help? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1515969
Nope, we need an ICS ENG HBOOT as far as I know, if we want to continue using ICS. I'd rather have ICS than ENG HBOOT if I had to choose.
I'm pretty sure we don't. If you have the eng bootloader you can remove the bootloader from the ics firmware update and flash it in the bootloader and this should update the old eng hboot with the ics firmware minus the updated hboot.

So we can user that bootloader

Is there anyway to downgrade to either the 1.29 or 1.31 base with s-on or is there anyway to s-off the HTC One Sprint on 4.3(3.04 base)????

Hey! My cousin just got an htc one (second hand) from someone, and it turns out to be an unlocked sprint model. Now the problem is that the software is stuck at 4.1.2 as the firmware option has been replaced by UICC unlock as the phone is unlocked...
The phone itself is rooted and it has s-off
Thanks!

Do you rely on a carrier unlock?

that is the problem, we don't know that :-/
is there anyway i could identify whether it is carrier unlocked?
Since you 're s-off and rooted you can always flash a rom based on newer version with Sprint support.

Unfortunately you will have to use HTC Dev to unlock and root to use rumrunner. I haven't seen any other way but try looking for a way to root without unlocking.

1) The warranty isn't voided by unlocking.
2) You can unlock via HTC Dev then S-OFF using Rumrunner and change everything back to stock if needs be... HTC will never know

They shouldn't but don't take my word for it! I remember reading something like that.
When I had a One X I unlocked it via HTC dev and I could hand it in for warranty. (Wouldn't turn on).
On the other hand rumrunner shouldn't alert HTC that your device has been unlocked.
