[Q] Galaxy S I9000 - No Network Signal

Am facing a weird problem on my Galaxy S I9000. Some days before, I went out of my Carrier Hot Zone, i.e. on Roaming and lost network signals for the entire stay of my roaming period.
I have inserted the sim card in another phone and it worked fine. But on my Galaxy S, now, even in the hot zone, i.e. my local network does not show me any signal strength except emergency calls. Again, sim card works fine in another phone.
Now my Galaxy S won't accept any sim card and shows no network signal. I have tried flashing different ROM's and Modems with no luck.
Any solution to this? Thanks in advance.
Hmm,
Are you sure that Airplane Mode is not active ?

[Q] AT&T connectivity issues

Hello everyone. Been wrestling with this all day. I purchased a barely used samsung galaxy tab 8.9 AT&T 4G LTE. It works fine with wifi, but I want to use it on my worksite where there is decent signal, but no wifi. Bought an AT&T SIM card, and put it in. I have full bars (signal), but no internet access. I have packet data turned off, as some forums have indicated this could fix it, but to no avail. With wifi turned off, the tablet status still says mobile network disconnected. Anyone have any ideas of what I could try? Thanks for any help.
EDIT: With packet data turned on, AT&T's data tracking widget says initializing, then goes to connection failed. With packet data off, it shows appropriate data usage (0mb at this point) and displays signal, but it still says no internet connection.
Did you get the right plan provisioned for the SIM? The Tab 8.9 is configured to use the "Broadband" APN by default so if you're not provisioned for that it won't work.
You need a data plan and a lte sim.

[Q] Note 4 and a few issues

I have been with T-Mobile since Aerial wireless days and really need some help with my Note 4. I had a Galaxy s3 prior to the note.
1) When traveling my phone wont auto-register with Mosiac for data roaming. I have to manually search and manually register. then it works like normal. My S3 had no issues. I have an unlimited plan.
2) I cannot send MMS via wi-fi calling. I tried the APN fix that was posted here and could not get an image to send. I did get a 4K picture to send but that was it, nothing and larger. 611 was no help getting this resolved. The S3 also had no issues.
3) 4G with no LTE is so slow websites and data often times out. My S3 didn't have this issue, it wasn't LTE. I assume that it should still upload and download data without LTE.
I have tried a factory reset, restoring APN, using different t-mobile APNs and a bunch of things customer care wanted me to try that didn't help. Battery pull etc. This phone is stock and unmodified in any way, I am also using the stock messaging app.
Thanks for any help on any of these issues.

when connected to wifi note 8 looses cellular service

so i am using the verizon note 8 on straight talk. when i connect to wifi everything is fine for a few minutes. top of phone says verizon on lock screen. after a while off having wifi on the phone will say searching for service. can't make calls or do any texting. When this happens the 4G signal goes away and only the wifi signal shows. i turn off wifi and service returns. i've tried searching for answers and i've talked to straight talk many times about this but they have no idea. I am on the latest update. Model number is SM-N95OU.
i've reset network settings. i've factory reset the phone on 4-30. i got the phone right when the 9.0 update came out so i can't compare to how it all worked on Oreo.
has anybody been having any issues with the 9.0 update?
Have you tried Wiping The Cache Partition in Recovery Mode? If that doesn't work backup your device and perform a hard factory reset.

Question Mobile data issue on regular Galaxy S23

Hi guys, i have a problem with my Galaxy S23.
I am connected to wifi at home and mobile data on. But, when i turn off the wifi, the mobile data does not activate. I've checked the APN settings, i call the provider, i reset the network settings ... same issue.
Mobile data is activating only if i call to a short number like *100#. If i don't dial, even the mobile data toggle is on there is no connection.
Can you please help me !
Have you tried a factory reset?
This is the only thing i don't want to do, because i'm going to lose my eSim's.

Fairly certain this shouldn't matter. I think they stay when you reset the phone. You might want to research this more.
Ok, so i did a factory reset. Nothing changed. However, i found an option in developer mode "mobile data always active". This is keeping the data on even if wifi is connected. It is running ok now, but, the battery consumption is a bit higher.
Hi guys,
I'm from Brazil and I'm having the same issue on my S23 ultra.
I use 1 eSIM from Vivo and a SIM from TIM.
When I'm using the mobile data, sometimes it doesn't work even the 4G or 5G are on.
I tried switch between carrier (Tim and Vivo) and both show 4G sign and doesn't work.
There are two ways to restore the mobile data, restart the phone or turn off and turn on the airplane mode. But after some minutes the problem continues.
I went to a Samsung Store and they put a new and clean OS, but after 1 day the problem started again.
I searched about it and I couldn't find a fix to this problem.
I will try to use only SIM and not use eSIM. I read some articles that the T-Mobile was having same issues.
I think it is a chronic problem. Maybe they need a recall or a new update to fix this issue.
Does any know how to fix this problem?
I have 2 SIMs because there are some places that I work that only 1 carrier works.
Problem solved.
I went to the provider and replaced the sim card with a new one. Now it's working without any issues.
