[Q] XT862 radio image - Motorola Droid 3

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had the XT862 radio image they could upload or could point me in the proper direction to get back to it. I recently switched it out the XT883 radio image to use on Tmobile, but failed to make a backup. Any assistance you could provide would be appreciated.

Use RSD Lite or SBF_Flash to flash the SBF version.
On AT&T, 4.1.83, and seeing throughput a wee bit faster than prior to flashing this radio. Bars are showing correctly.

[Q] Critical Error 1337 510B

So I recently acquired a moto milestone and I am trying to root it. I was following the instructions posted in the dev forum but I don't have privileges to post there with my issues so I am asking here. When I try to flash the vulnerable recovery image I get Critical Error: 1337 510B and nothing happens. The phone is still completely useable. What is the issue here?
Try shorten the file name like a.sbf and try again.

No dice on the renaming. Is there any information I could provide?
Could it be my bootloader? It says it is 2C.6C when I go into the bootloader menu.
Show us a picture!!

Okay, here they are: The phone before flash, the phone after the failure and the screen cap of RSDLite after the failure. Let me know if this helps at all.
the file sbf may be not right。
check it and reDownload it ?
4 times on two different computers. I tried flashing different sbf files like the stock 2.1 and 2.2 roms I have found.
You don't have Motorola Milestone A853 (gsm/umts), but A854 or A855 (cdma), therefore you should follow Droid guides, not Milestone guides.
Wow. Thanks. Is this written somewhere that I was too blind to find?

[softbrick+hardbrick] Finally! Need cdrom partition for ICS > now need motherboard

Guys, I'm soft-bricked and looking for somebody who can help how I can re-flash cdrom partition in the fastboot.
The old one from 2.3.6 roms are not flashing, INFOpreflash validation failure.
I tried to use dumped cdrom partition from dd, it's mostly same, but I can't flash it using moto-fastboot.
Any suggestion?
I stuck in the fastboot, nothing else is available.

I would do a full flash of. 219, then do the jump ics flash in the Droid 4 Upated Utility and it should work, I did something similar and it seemed to work for me and I even kept all my data.

Flashing 219 is ending up with error cdrom partition in fastboot mode. No go after.
cdrom partition from 2.3.6 219 doesn't want to flash after ics leak.
updated thread, please let me know if somebody has broken droid4

My tutorial here should answer this.
hi
I can not flash radio when I try to brick my phone. sorry for my English
Please need help
Hi
I tried to flash modem as you suggested in your tutorial (please I don't blame it on you, I am extremelly noob and I just realized that ) I was trying to install clockworkmod for a motorola atrix HD, and when I saw this, I tried to flash the modem and I realized I just should tried this after flashing my device, but I didn't even reached that step, I wiped all to store atrix hd, but when I try to connect to wifi or data network, it fails, please I need some help on this, is there a way to restore to stock modem rom or something like that? This is horrible, my smartphome became a palm or something like that :crying:
PD: Sorry for bad english, not my tongue language
Flash the stock fastboot file of your phone with RSD Lite... With that you can go back to your stock rom
Fastboot No Work

What if some of us don't have USB data connections on our phones? My Atrix can charge but no data connection possible. Even tried replacing the USB port. Nothing.
So fastboot, RSD, MythTools, nothing can work.
Backup and restore /modem would work, but I don't have any backup. Unless someone assists me with one.
Flashing via recovery would work too, but I'd need clear set instructions. Tried like 30 different things that haven't worked. :crying:

No mobile radio ls995 PLEASE HELP

SO I have the ls995, i posted a while back on other threads of revocering my phone cause i flashed a d955 rom by accident. so anyway after a while of fixing i got it all back to stock, main problem was phone kept saying it was d955 in download mode so wouldnt take tot file, but got that ffigured out. Now after a bit trying to activate mobile data all i get is mobile radio off. theres a red x where the bars are. with sim in even. i triedthat phone info in the hidden testing menu but that says this app does not work on your device. I dont know where to go from there, any help is appreciated thanks
My suggestion is to use LG flash tool with universal dll file and ls995zv3.tot . that will correct the problem. I had the same problem with flashing of d950 on ls995 . Hope ? will help
Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
Thanks for the reply, I however already did that tot restore twice, but you mention a universal DLL file, what would that be? I used the DLL that has ls995 in the name
Universal dll is a file that basically allow you to flash tot even if specific model is used. Lets say you have ls995 and you flash rom for d950 (like I did) so your flex act like d950,but if you try return to stock by flashing tot for ls995 it may not allow you to. It will say its a wrong model. Universal DLL allows lg flushing tool to overlook that and use that tot file. It seems to me that you have a wrong radio ,or something didn't flush quite good. In my opinion return to stock again using universal dll and ls995zv3.tot along as it flashes over 80% it should be good. I had somewhere saved that DLL file, so let me know if you can't find it I can PM it to you. Its called LGUP_8974.dll

yup, baseband is m8974A-AAAANAZM-2.0.20049.
DOing more reaserach could my efs partition be corrupt? Eventhough it says imei and stuff. I just dont get why the radio is turned of. Like when u got to network, sercie state it just says radio off. Could this be like a permanent hardware thing?
just to put this out there i do have another lg g flex same model and everything if need be
Hardware I don't think so and efs partition should be ok since imei shows correct. Why don't you do a nandroid backup from other flex and restore this one ? See if that helps just uncheck efs.
Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
I would but that one isnt rooted/custom recovery yet. I can still do that, but just before, is it possible for you to send me a twrp backup of your modem? I can try restoring that, see if that helps. I guess i needto be on the latest update as well correct, to use yours? If you could I would greatly appreciate it
I'm on ls995zv9 with bumped twrp so that may not help you but I have saved zv3 and zv7 modems backups . Is that you want? What is your build number?
Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
im on bumped twrp to, meaning from the freedom flex app right? I am on zv6 right now, i can update to zv7 thoough, can u send/post the zv7 one, Thanks so much man i appreciate the time
Ok I will do zv7,but how did you got to zv6? If you just factory restored from ls995zv3.tot ? From your baseband number looks like you are on zv9.Weird

Actually that problem you have is an EFS corrupted partition. I had that same problem. Im sorry if you sent me pm or something and I didnt answer been very busy lately. Will upload a backup today of boot/efs/modem. But make sure you backup your imei before all this cuz mine is bad esn.
Hey sorry for not responding, was at work the whole day yesterday anyway, so I restored @falcon8667 modern twrp backup but that didn't change anything still same baseband and still no radio. Thank you very much though for sending it to me. I even restored the boot backup but that didn't help. Also @Alex_XV6700 I thought it might be the efs through research but oddly my imei ESN and whatnot is fine even checked it on swappas checker thing. The baseband and all are still accurate. I'll send a screen shot when I get home. It just says in service state, radio off. And any app I try to turn it on with force closes. Could I try your efs backup then? I backed mine up. Thanks again for all your guys help
That may sound little stupid but can you turn on and off the airplane mode couple of times and reset the phone ?. Probably will not work but its a quick try. By the way do you have a sim card in there and if yes what carrier?
Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
Yeah i tried that a few times didnt help, tried with the sim in and with it out. I do have a sim in it, its from sprint. The phone does recognize the sim being in there or not
Just do a nandroid backup from other flex and restore this one. It may save you a time. That just a suggestion
