The origin behind your user name. - Off-topic

What's up everyone. Since being apart of this forum for over a 2 years I've seen some very interesting user names. So I'm curious as how you came up with your unique name. I'm sure others are curious as well.

Was in a horrible table tennis accident when I was a kid, have a metal plate in my head. People underestimate the dangers involved with competitive table tennis but I assure you they are very real.

It's a misspelling of a name in the Shannara series of books. There's a mountain range known as the Wolfsktaag Mountains. I originally used the name as a joke because it looked ridiculous and accidentally spelled it wrong when I did. Somehow, it stuck.

Interesting post. Maybe I'll play along.
Compusmurf. Back in the 80's, I needed an email name alias for TAC access to the arpanet (before the internet as most of you children know it).
Smurf's were big name cartoons at that time and "brainysmurf" was already taken. So, I grabbed "compusmurf" (Computer Smurf) if you didn't already guess.
I've kept it since then, even snagged the domain, etc.

OFFICIAL "FUNNY MOMENT" thread

Thought I'd make this so people can post there funny moments........had a funny thing happen to me 2 days ago.....
So I lived 150 miles away from my sister, well one of her friends added me on Facebook, name"Stormie".......well we started texting and stuff and kinda got dirty...I was just flirting n having fun,idk about her..
Well I moved in with my sis about two weeks ago....and 2 days ago she said she had a friend coming over....me not thinking,I was like whatever, her friend gets here and my sis tells me to open the door...so I did, little did I know it was her friend "Stormie"....she says hey and I'm like uhhmmmmm......hi lol.
Well I sit down hoping she's not remembering the "naughty" texts.....well she starts talking about her ex-boyfriend and saying she wants to get drunk and laid....yes I thought the same thing.
Well she left and someone on here said I should post pics if I get some.
I'm willing to when I get some but don't know how to without getting band lol.

I think a funny moment would be talking to someone online called sassy...
Planning to meet at a bar.
And seeing a big fat biker walk in with a "sassy is here" shirt.
We'll this isn't funny, this is awkward: I was beating off, and my cousin walked in while I was at the point of now return and so I couldn't stop so it was probably the most awkward 5 seconds of my life. He closed the door, and I acted like nothing happened.

I probably get told "You look like Jesus." twice a week. I usually respond with "Have faith in me and I will lead you." but sometimes when I am not in a mood for it I will say "Please don't compare the way I look to a dead artist's rendition of what he imagined a hypothetical construct to look like." Girls on xda?

Hi I was wondering if there were any girls in the xda community. Ive been hooked up of android since 2009 with my first android smartphone: the HTC Magic, a true innovative product back in the days. Are there other girls who have a strange passion for android(-smartphones) like me? would be cool to find out.

I remember reading about this technology a couple years ago, obviously its gaining more media coverage now. But even so they're saying it will be a few years off. I would think they will cover their bases on the safety aspect considering how sue happy people in the United States can be.

People need to be "sue happy" in order to keep the "oh-so-honest" private sector from releasing a bomb to the market.

I disagree... And sadly so does most of the world that jokes about how we are here in the states. Seriously.... Think of all the dumbass mistakes people make, then sue someone else just to make a dishonest buck. Look at the chick that burned herself on HOT coffee and sued McDonald's.... Do I really need a sign on my private pool saying keep out? I'm sorry but if you're gonna trespass on private property and drown in my pool, that's just asinine to find the owner responsible. What about the burglar that fell through a kitchen skylight and landed on a knife? He sued the owners of the house.
This is waaaay off topic so I'll apologize in advance but it really is a problem in the states.

Without the ability to sue, the private sector would be allowed to set loose any product they like without consequence.
