In the mine time there is a leak of ics for sensation xe. Why isn't there one for sensation xl? When it will be relased?
Were unsure why its not been leaked yet but TBH I would rather wait till an actual proper release is out there for the SXL but as for release we are looking at Q1 2012, so anytime from now till March

As sensation already having fully working ics roms ,why xl devs are not building any ics rom for our xls ??
because the lack of a AOSP kernel, witch would be very different from the sensation kernel (different hardware) when we got that, the development kan start.
best bet would be to wait for a official release in march, and see if someone ports cyanogen..
im trying to make a ics like rom, but have run into a noob problem, so will extract from ruu and start from scratch.
*dont blame me if i'm wrong*
Hi
Is the official ICS ROM coming in march for sure?
Sources?

Hi guys!
I'm helping my friend with rooting and installing custom ROMs on his HTC Sensation XL.
Right now his version of ICS 4.0.3 no Sense V1.1/ HTC Sensation XL/ seems to have crashed totally, and he wants me to help him finding a new and stable ROM that will work for a long time without problems.
I've been considering flashing his phone back to stock, but I know that he uses some root-required apps and by going back to stock those apps won’t woks.
Therefor I wonder if you guys maybe could help me with some recommendations on stable ROMs?
Thanks and Cheers!
I recommend evervolv by zasuk: anders3408: and Lexmazter: those guys basically remake the definition of stability
AW: [Q] most stabile rom
Ya evervolv is still pretty stable. Good choice. If you are looking for an alternative you could use miui too. Had it as a daily driver before I changed to evervolv.

I am running pretty fine with Samers SS_KINGKOBRA v6 (i know there is already v7 out ). Never had any problem with it, so i recommend to his Rom. Maybe the crashes are not a issue of the rom? When does the phone crash?
Greetz haendler
Sv: [Q] most stabile rom
He told me that there were small buggs in the OS, like he can't see the text he is writing while writing writing a text message and the battery percent jump around all the time. The main reason why he wants to swap OS now it that phone.android.com constantly crashes within 5 sek from the boot.
Anyway he also wants something new and fresh.

If you want a rom with less issues, just flash ics ruu and root it.

I think Vanilla rootbox will be great as it has tons of features and battery backup is greater than cmpared to any other rom..

U can try XL 4.0 v7.0
or ★★SS_KINGCOBRA Turbo fast★★
Both rom i've tried and without any problem. XL 4.0 v7.0 is very stable. ★★SS_KINGCOBRA Turbo fast★★ is really fast.

You dont have to use a Sense 4 rom if u want a stable rom. No way.
Then it depends on your preferences. Homestly i dont Luke Sense 3.6, so a prefer a little Hughes rom.

How i can install older ruu without recovery and root?
HI
I was wondering if i could downgrade my s-offed sensation xl from ICS to 1.08.415.4??????
thanks
ICS to GB?

yes. my device has a lot of HANGS.
I thought maybe with GB it works better
Custom ROM?
Sent from my Sensation XL using Tapatalk
Try the CodeFireX ROM, it's better than traveling back to stone age GB.

since custom roms include some bugs I`d rather not use them. I want to have a stable rom and a device without time t time HANGING
Onejay's port of CM 10.1 has no freezings and works great, actually, with no bugs.
Your device should not be laggy, even if you are in the 4.0.4 version of the stock rom. Try uninstalling some rescource-demanding apps.
If you really want to go to that old and largely outdated Gingerbread, try using the right RUU.
Have a nice day !
