[Q] Multipicture Live Wallpaper on Touchpad CM9 - TouchPad Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I installed Multipicture Live Wallpaper on the TP CM9 and when the screens are in landscape mode, each individual wallpaper I have set on the 5 different screens are displayed perfect BUT...
When I set the TP in portrait mode, the backgrounds are cut in half and for example on screen 1 I have half the background of screen 1 and screen 2 and..
on screen 2 I have half of screen 2 and half of screen 3 and so on and so on..
Anybody experiencing the same or know a workaround?
I already tried playing around in the settings (esp. "Workaround for some home application")
Cheers.

I will have to check but for me I think force 5 wallpapers worked. I'll check when I get home.

[Q] Lockscreen Wallpaper Shifted?

Hi,
Currently using a HTC desire on cyanogen. I'm using 3 home screens with Launcher pro plus. since i have 3 screens the wallpaper will shift depending on which screen i am on. For example if i'm on my most left screen, the screen will focus on the left on the wallpaper. if i'm on the middle , the focus will be on the middle of the wallpaper. and so on..
my question is, how come when i'm at my lockscreen, the focus is on the right portion of my wallpaper even if i turned my screen off on the center home screen?
i've tried switching wallpapers and that doesnt seem to work.
i had the same problem but it was fixed after applying the wallpaper again
Same thing on Samsung Captivate also w/ LauncherPro (free)
Has anyone found a viable solution for this? Reapplying the wallpaper doesn't resolve this. Rebooting works but a more elegant solution would be nice. Not even sure how it shifted to begin with.

[Q] wallpaper problem

I'm having a problem with setting wallpapers. when i go into wallpaper selection mode from gallery, it opens up the crop box. No matter what part of the image choose within the box, when the wallpaper is set I get a zoomed in, further cropped version of what i had chosen, which pretty much looks pathetic. Any pointers on how I can get it to set correctly?
no idea, anyone?
It could be something to do with your launcher. Most launchers pan across the wallpaper as your scroll through different screens. Depending on the launcher you may be able to turn this feature off.

The same thing happens on my Galaxy Ace!!! I have no idea what to do anymore. >:/

[Q] HTC Sense Weather Live wallpaper stops

So if I use the sense live wallpaper... it stops after few seconds or it stops immediately after I go on blinkfeed... Is there a way to keep it in a loop? It's one of the best/realistic looking live wallpaper I have seen..
The wallpaper has had this issue for as long as I can remember (One X and Evo 3D both) and there was no fix unfortunately. Would otherwise be my favourite lwp too

Stops in apex but works on the lockscreen.
However the one time I select it in the menu, it works on the homescreen animated, but stops working on the home screen once I lock the device.

Issue With Live Wallpaper on Touchwiz

Hello and Happy New Year.
I have recently wanted to try using a live wallpaper on my GT-N7000 running 4.1.2 and Touchwiz (I am on Philz kernel if that matters)...
I note that when I use the settings page for Display | Wallpaper there are 3 choices: Home Screen, Lock Screen, and Both. If I tap Home Screen choice, I get 3 options: Gallery, Live Wallpapers, and (non-live) Wallpapers. I get the same 3 options if I tap the Both screens choice. But when I tap Lock Screen only choice, I do not get the option for Live Wallpapers - only Gallery and (non-live) Wallpapers.
So it seems I can have a live wallpaper on the Home Screen only or on both Home and Lock Screens simultaneously. Of course, what I want is not available here. I want a static wallpaper on my home screens and a live wallpaper on the lock screen. Seems like I can't get there from here.
So is there a way to get the setup I want? Thanks.
a year later, i share your same frustration. i even tried setting the live for "both" and then just setting something else for "home". that caused the lock screen to revert to a default non-live wallpaper.
how dumb.

Lockscreen notification drawer lag after Android 9 update

I noticed if I use the default infinity wallpapers, when you swipe down the notification drawer from the lockscreen it's a smooth animation
However when I use a different wallpaper, even the samsung wallpapers as long as it's not infinity branded, swiping down the notification drawer from the losckreen is jittery and slow. It doesn't happen on the main home screen. Only the lockscreen
Anyone else having the same issue? Mine's an Exynos variant Note 9
Yes I have noticed It too, i wonder if there is somthing to do about it..

I've downloaded the Walloop Engine app from the Play Store, which gives you the ability to set the live wallpaper as your homescreen/lockscreen wallpaper. For some reason, lockscreen notification drawer doesn't lag if you set a live wallpaper. I have no idea how Samsung managed to produce such a silly bug with static wallpapers.
I also have found that if you set your screen display to WQHD the animation on the lock screen will be laggy and will stutter and even sometimes on the home screen itself and if you put the screen display on FHD+ the animation will run smooth.
Check it out and tell me If the same problem happen to you too.

I notice this issue only on lockscreen, but yeah, it happens only on WQHD resolution and only with static wallpapers. Infinity wallpapers and live wallpapers are not causing any issues, regardless of resolution. So, to sum up:
HD/FHD resolution: no lag, we can use any wallpaper
WQHD resolution: notification drawer lags with static wallpapers, but doesn't lag with infinity/live wallpapers
