please tell me what the feature of this ROM
Its a modified version of of minicm7 featuring GB 2.3.5. I havent personally tried it but many say that it is faster than GingerDX's ROM with more memory available. Also it is said that all features work (even camera full 3MP).

My personal question is: GingerDX vs GingerXperia ....... who wins?
hmm i think gingerDX because the GingerDX can use multiple module, i mean can use UV and UC module...
but in game mode GingerDX have a lag in my device.. but GingerCruzt and GingerXperia doesn't..
(sorry for my bad english)
i had GDX since version 007 and i followed that ROM until v13. Today i installed GingerXperia.
Although i do prefer GingerDX more i have to admit that with GingerXperia (with some tweaking) my free memory can reach 80MB while i couldnt free more than 50 with GingerDX. Also GingerXperia is faster in every day use....
But...for some strange reason....i will stick with GDX....
Hha you're right men... in gingerdx just 30-40mb max ram...
Btw are you use overclock module?
I'm using overclock 320-787mhz, vm heap size 32mb, and sd card cache 4096.....
how about you?
how about the compability?
many bug?i hear that v6 has a problem when receiving phone call.
in DX i dont use any overclock. in gingerxperia i use overclock 710, nothing else.
Both Roms are working without any serious bugs, i use GO launcher
What is the best kernel and custom rom for me? I have an xperia x8 and need one that can support dual touch as my screen is cypress. I'm currently on stock kernel with gingerxperia v13.
Which kernel is the fastest and best for playing games etc. and that can also support dual touch?
Thanks
None. For me..

Hi there. For first sorry for my english, 'cause it sucks.. I have installed GingedDX on my Xperia x8 and I have a question about kernel. Do I can install custom kernel? Or do I need it? If yes, what is the best kernel in your opinion? Thanks for reply.
GingerDX supports 3 kernels: SE stock, LinuxDX and Alfs for GingerDX. 1st and 2nd won't allow You to OC Your CPU. Only Alfs has this feature. On the other hand - if You're not OC fan, than You should try LinuxDX, cause it was created by doixanh [He creates GingerDX as well].
But all of Your doubts may go away if U won't be able to unlock Your bootloader. If this happen - You will be able to use only stock SE kernel
Ok, my phone can have custom kernel. But is it worth it? I think that Alfs for GingerDX + GingerDX should work great. I want OC a bit my phone's processor, because my phone lags very often.. Should it work better than now?
I tried a combination of stock kernel + GingerDX and Alfs + GingerDx. For me the 2nd one gave a boost to my x8, so in Your case it would be probably the same
Stock kernel + GingerDX and Alfs + GingerDx? You mean 2 kernels? And sorry I can't understand this: For me the 2nd one gave a boost to my x8.
My english is weak, sorry Did you mean "jeden z dwóch"?
I tried both combinations - GingerDx + stock kernel, then I flashed ALFS and was using it with GingerDX
Polish: Próbowałem obu kombinacji - GingerDx + stock oraz ALFS + GingerDX. Jak dla mnie drugie połączenie przyspiesza działanie telefonu
Ah, okay, now I understand Okay, thanks then. I will try
@EDIT
My phone is dead now :/ I have unlocked bootloader, I've got message that everything is done. Reboot and phone doesn't work.. Crap :/
dude.. English doesnt Suck.. probably your grammer might . And there are custom kernels like Alfs and nAa, which you can install at your own risk.. Search the forums for further info...

You can't overlock your CPU on stock? So how am I doing it then?
Sent from my XPERIA X8 using xda premium
On ALFS kernel this feature is built-in. On LinuxDX or stock U have to use modules or other stuff.
linuxDx neither with modules..only stock kernel with modules and alfs with built in, you can overclock..flash alfs if you like or dislike oc..if you don't like you don't need to use the oc..so, the best kernel for gingerDx is ALFS KERNEL
sorry my bad english
stock kernel can oc too, use module.
Hello there, i have a problem with gingerDx v29, im using v28 atm with alfs v09a, so far so good, but when i instal v29 i get a com.android.phone error as soon as i put the ping and then the error keeps looping. i tryed re-instal, wipe data, (wipe everything that i could with CMW actualy) but it still doesnt work, i read the forum in order to find an answer but didnt find it with this SO, (also tryed a solution that seams to work in others so like fix permisions). How do i solve this?
I really hate to bother but its been 5 days and i can make it work.
Thanks in advance!

alfs v9a
im having a little screen moving problem, i think its the kernel alfs v9a, i'll try v8 and let you know
Edit; Alfs v8a solves the problem
Hey guys i'm having the same problem with the screen moving bug, it moves to the right a little bit. I tried alfs v8 and it solved the problem but I still don't think it's the best answer since the combo gdx v29 and alfs v8 has A LOT of battery drain on 3g and sync on (in 8 hours it drains 90 percent of the battery just in standby).
Is there any other thing I can do to fix this screen problem? If not i'll just go back to stock kernel
Afaik alfsv9 has that bug. Try oc'ing above 690 and use on demand.

Hey thanks for answering, I'm on demand right now, and the cpu is set to 122 mhz min and 691 mhz max (basically I didn't change anything). Any other ideas?
Pretty weird bug I hope there's a good fix for this, cos alfs v9+ is the kernel with the best performance I've tested so far.

Hi all,
yesterday I rooted and unlocked bootloader of my x8. The I flashed nAa kernel for MiniCM7 (E15_nAa-14_2.6.29.6-nAa-14.ftf) with flashtool. When I rebooted it, it doesn't show anything: the screen is black and nAa logo doesn't appear.
I tried also nAa kernel for MiniCM9 and for MiniCM10, but the issue persist.
With Alfs kernel I have not problem. Now I'm on GingerDX, but I would try MiniCM
Please help me
be sure you have memory card on naa kernel....so it will boot up
minimum edition
Make sure your battery is over 15-20% and check your SD Card if it's inserted correctly.
