Hello Galaxy Note colleagues,
I have the following problem with my Note that I was wondering whether some of you may help with his own experience:
When I have ongoing call and if somebody is trying to call me at the same time I can hear the typical beeps but when my initial conversation finishes and I try to see who was calling me I can not find any single record for missed call in call log list. Of course, call waiting option in switched on.

I have the exact same issue. I hear the incoming tone while speaking but no record of the missed call after, nor any indication on screen that another call is incoming. Has anybody experienced this?

Hey all...I probalby should know this as I have uses a PPC device for 2 years...but I don't remember having this issue on my last phone.
When I am on a call and get another coming in it consistently beeps/rings for the call waiting.
I have set my phone up to wait 30 seconds before going to voicemail (as I am not always around the phone). Because of this if I am in the middle of a conversation and get another call, I can't hear the other party (and am distracted myself) because my phone keeps ringing the other line for 30 seconds until the call is rejected.
When using MS Voice Command, I get the same thing with incoming announcements. If I am on the phone with Caller A and then Caller B calls, MSVC keeps saying "Incoming Call from Caller B."
I don't want to turn off Call Waiting, but I would like to change the notification so it is only a beep or something simple every 5-10 seconds and not a continuous ringing or talking.
Is the caller ID ring/tone able to be managed differently from the ring tone/announcement? What is the best way to manage this?

PhoneAlarm has a setting to Vibrate for alerts while in a call.

i own a diamond for a week now and i have two strange problems.
one is, when i receive incoming calls sometimes i cannot hear my dialogue partner but he understands me. until i press one of the volume buttons at the side. i think this does not always happen, but in about one of three calls. i also think this only happens on incoming calls, not when i call.
second is, when i dial a number sometimes i don't hear it ringing. theres absolutely no sound until the called person receives my call. this is not reproducable and happens in about one of four cases. i can call someone and hear it ringing and immediately call again and it doesnt make a sound.
this does not sound like a hardware problem. i have rom 1.37.407.2 installed and i am from germany.
i hope someone can help me, this kinda pisses me off. thanks.

I've had the phone for just over a week, and have the Kang-O-Rama bundle installed. Overall, it's awesome...
What I have noticed though is that there doesn't appear to be a tone for incoming call waiting. A couple of days ago I noticed I had a missed call/VM after I hung up on my current call. I tested it out by calling a friend and having another friend (who was with me) call me while I was in the call. There was no audible notification while in call.
I then activated the "vibrate incoming call waiting" or whatever option and that appeared to work, but still no tone. And even the vibrate may be hit and miss, as I missed another call today while on a call.
Does the Nexus One not have a call waiting tone? Is it buggy? Is it the CM ROM?
yes I am having same problem but I am using home rom.
I think I have seen this, but not quite what you describe. my phone beeps only the first time for call waiting, then it stops. maybe this is the way its supposed to be cause I like it like that.
Is your in call volume on low and is it enable in the settings? Setting-call settings-additional settings-call waiting checked.

I wonder if anyone has the same problem: the thing is that after the Gingerbread update made to my Optimus black, whenever I make a call or receive a call, the first 2-3 seconds my mic is mute. I mean, the other person doesn't hear me for 2-3 seconds and almost all the time I get "some critics" because I don't salute, especially from my wife
So, does anybody else experience something similar? Is there a fix for this?

Try using "call delay patch". Its available in google play!!

Thank you all for your answers, but after days of testing with the app, the problem still persist on my phone
Sometimes when someone calls me it would not let me answer call, also call waiting won't let me switch to next call. Lastly after ending the call it takes like 4 secs to fully end.
Any solutions?
